    1. Very good idea from Agot. Sana nga gawin nila.

    2. Agree ako! Kung talagang they care for their constituents eh di ibenta at gumawa ng projects sa pinagbentahan.

    3. Puro hand me down na lang ang mamamayang Pilipino

      Delete
    4. I think not all are bought. Some designers lend their creations for these events for their promotion kaya they get them in return.

    5. Tama si Agot. Madami ding tama si Jim Peredez nuon until.. Agot wag masyado mapuna. Baka may skeletons in the closet ka din.

  2. She can be annoyingly opinionated but she is right about this. Politicians shouldn't display opulence. Respeto nalang sa mamayan.

    2. I agree din. Ewan ko may something icky pag government officials yung nag fafashion show.

    1. It’s a good idea actually. Usually di na inuulit ang gown lalo na’t nakita na ng buong Pilipinas & its all over the internet. Maganda ngang ibenta for a cause like for charity.

      Delete
    2. May point naman sya. Bakit kelangan may pa fashion show pag SONA. Dito sa Canada wala naman ganyan ganyan…

      Delete

      Delete
    4. Paladesisyon din ako 'coz I'd suggest the same. For a public servant, napaka-fasyon kuno lalo na si Imee Mangga.

  4. I don’t think all of them bought their gowns though, but I agree. If they are that wealthy, then a gown wouldn’t make a dent in their wealth

    1. I beg to differ. I know a lot na nagpasadya for the SONA.

      Delete
    2. Mga asawa ng politiko hahaha

      Delete
    3. 10:10 said “not all of them bought”. Why did you have to “beg to differ” 11:40? You know “a lot na nagpapasadya” but still not all di ba? Pareho lang kayo ng sinasabi hilig kumontra

      Delete
    4. 10:10 bakit sino ba sila? top celebs ba? for sure nagpasadya sila at sa top designers pa talaga at talaga naman na kahit di top designer eh sobrang mahal ng formal gowns

      Delete
  5. I second the motion

    ReplyDelete
  6. Totally agree! I understand wanting to dress up - but it also seems distasteful all things considered.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete

    1. it started during pnoy's admin dahil sa dami ng celebrity na umaattend duting SONA.

      Delete
    2. 10:25 at meron pang may kasamang sariling photographer para sa photo session nila. tapos ang topic ng sona ay halos puro paghihikahos ng pinoy. only in the pilipins!!!!!

      Delete
    3. Irrelevant when it started but this has to end. para sa mga elected officials & their spouses or partners to treat the event as a fashion show was not only distasteful but also questionable (SALN is waving). Mataas pa presyo ng gas, bigas, and other major commodities pero sahod d tumataas, maraming mahihirap na lalong naghihirap, yan ang real state of the nation and they address that by dressing up and dolling themselves in front of the cameras? Shameful

      Delete
    4. 1:40 what? that's unbelievable. that is just too much.

      Delete
  8. Auction?
Sila sila din bibili nun, meaning yung gowns dalawang beses ginastusan.
Mag donate nalang diretso sa mga charitable institutions, schools and hospitals.

    ReplyDelete

    1. yun naman sinabi ni ms. agot. auction for a good cause

      Delete
  9. andami mong ideas, how about you start auctioning your things

    ReplyDelete

    1. Huli ka na sa balita. Ilang beses na po siyang nagdo-donate? Ikaw kelan mo bibigay utak mo?

      Delete
    2. Of course. Accountability ang tawag doon. Hindi masamang magdemand sa elected officials when part of our salaries pay their salaries

      Delete
Di siya politiko no

      Delete
  10. Great idea! Feeding programs and education programs for the homeless kids!

  11. Are you kidding those women? LOL

    ReplyDelete
  12. Manahimik ka. Dyan ka sa laylayan. Masaya at fabulous kami dito sa taas. Duh

    1. incompetent na taas. LOL

      Delete
    2. I hope you're kidding. This comment is simply heartless

      Delete
    3. Selfish mo naman. Gusto mo, kayo lang sa taas ang fabulous… these politicians should care for vulnerable people and help them di ba

      Delete
    4. She's born rich FYI

      Delete
    5. 😂😂😂 Triggered mga laylayers, wag ka nga ganyan!

      Delete
    6. Kapatid - these are public servants, they are supposed to serve the people, lalo na ang naghihirap. Yet this SoNA is about opulence. Laki ng disconnect.

      Delete
    7. 1:59 triggered rin ako but I’m not “laylayers”. Pero I feel for the people who are helpless there

      Delete

... dibs nung kay Mayor Honey Lacun̈a!

    ReplyDelete
  15. eto na naman si pa-woke Agot. ikaw ba teh, yung mga costumes mo sa movies and shows mo, na-donate mo na ba?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Politician ba sya? Besides mga costumes nya e galing sa production yun… it’s not hers. Bakit nya i-aauction?

      Delete
    2. Sharing or not sharing on social media doesn’t necessarily reflect the extent or impact of someone’s contributions to charity.

      Delete
    3. 1224 exactly! which means, Agot may or may not be aware na baka naman binenta na or na-auction na yung mga damit nila then was already donated to charity. 2 sides to the story girl. and Agot should know that

      Delete

  16. Hayaan na sila. Nakakaloka.

    1. Huy troll.

      Delete
  18. She's right. Ginawang fashion show ang SONA.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Agree on this.

    ReplyDelete
  20. If I can afford it, I'll buy Heart's gown and the one worn by #9.

    ReplyDelete
  21. paladesisyon naman si ante

    ReplyDelete
  22. this is a good example of sounding like you have good intentions but it is coming from a bitter person. haha! manahimik ka, miss Agot. mag feeding ka din o mamigay ng school supplies. wag mo pakialaman mga gowns ng mga yan. kakaloka.

    ReplyDelete

    1. LOL! Mahilig magpabida yan kaya alone again naturally. Walang nakatagal! Maski yun politician na kapink niya rin.

  24. Good idea to kaya Lang pag sobrang tabs o sobrang payat Yun size hirap makahanap ng gusto mag bid.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Daming echos.

    2. Ikaw Ang dumb 11:56

  26. Dapat tanggalin na ang +1 sa SONA. The spouses do not need to be there tapoa distraction lang sa mga issues na nadidiscuss sa sona na ginagawa nilang fashion show. And it's so tasteless and ridiculous na yung event about sa mga problems na kinakaharap ng bansa tapos yung mga attendees nagpapabonggahan ng damit.

    ReplyDelete
Napaka-pretentious nila, dina nahiya.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Mga politikong out of touch sa realidad. Displaying their wealth without regard to the plight of the people.

    ReplyDelete
  29. In a first world country like America, members of both Chamber just dressed normal business attire, no frills like the attendees of the poor Philippines SONA, no Hollywood like red carpet arrival blah blah… the country who is so poor are the ones who show off. Thank you taxpayers!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. We're a country of social climbers kasi.

      Delete
    2. So cringey!

      Delete
  30. for sure if yung bet nya nag sona wala syang comments sa mga outfit na dapat auction.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  32. Sino naman bibili ng gowns nila?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Si Emelda at yung Sir from cebu

      Delete

    ReplyDelete
  34. Kung nanalo at nagkatuluyan sila nung dating candidate, maisip kaya nya yan?

    ReplyDelete
  35. Penoys doing penoy things again :) :) :) These people are basically celebrities that you voted for to make your life easier :D :D :D Too bad your life isn't any easier than yesterday but they do look good ;) ;) ;)

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  37. This is great idea baka pwede project ni Heart yan or they can auction anything they want to donate

    ReplyDelete
  38. Pwedeng gawing project nila Heart. Yung org ng wives from the senate and congress..

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Busy pa si Heart rumampa at mgpapansin sa socmed.

      Delete
  39. Hindi nila gagawin yan at walang magkukusa I think.
