I'm not a comic reader but I've read in a comsec on the issue that there is a part of the multiverse where Tony Stark became Dr. Doom. Nakakaloka lang dito kasi after nung kadramahang heroism na ginawa nila for Ironman sa Endgame, bigla nila siyang gagawing villain.
I was so upset that they killed Chris Evans right away, nawala yung eye candy ng movie. Rapid fire yung pag deliver ng mga lines sa Deadpool na tumatawa pa lang kami, may nakakatawang lines ulit the next. I will watch this again with close caption para I won’t miss any punchlines.
For people kasi, end na tlga ang end game. People dont want to continue or buhayin ang dpat na tapos na. Only mga super diehard fans na lang ang may gusto ng mga sumunod, which mukhang nalalagasan n rin sila kasi mga below expectation ang mga sumunod or mga natitirang heroes like Captain Marvel, Madame Web.
Disney is bleeding money under the policies of Kath Kennedy who insisted on injecting ideology into everything. They lecture instead of entertain. They have destroyed golden IPs like Marvel, Starwars and Pixar. All they needed to do was keep telling the stories already there but she insisted on putting everything woke into all products. Just read economic reports on Disney stock and investors and stockholders suing them for mishandling the business including the themeparks. The current trend in Hwood and globally is that if its woke, the movie barely makes it or tanks. There are exceptions like Barbie, but on the general, woke movies are made for a minority group therefore the majority nonwoke avoid it. It does not make business sense and yet they persist. Hopefully Disney wakes up or its gonna lose so much.
I haven't watched anything Hollywood lately. I found Kdrama offerings more to my taste, even their superhero dramas and movies.i also watch Cdrama and of course bits of Pinoy offerings. I only watched the John Wick series lately. RDJ was a great Iron Man when Marvel was still quality. I feel that sending a message rather than telling entertaining stories has been the thing Hollywood has been focused on. I don't want to be lectured, I want to be entertained.
Maybe I will give this a go if it pops out in Prime. If not, Iqiyi and Viki remains my thing.
We will see kung maganda yung plot ng movie people will watch it. Like this Deadpool akala ko it will not work dahil mga actors ay mga 40-50 something playing superheroes. Not good playing superheroes kung mga wrinkles at signs of aging kita. They actually made it work.
