    7. What an ignorant comment 1:34pm! Before hurling racism let me ask if you have watched the whole ceremony??? It's a surreal moment when all countries gather for a momentous event. I felt emotional yesterday upon seeing our Team and waving our flag here in France. No racism just PRIDE. Mon fils is an avid fan of Olympics 2024. They have been monitoring it since the start of the school year 2023-2024. That's why the streets were empty yesterday as mostly are hooked on their screens. Unfortunately, cars are not allowed inside Paris and with the recent attacks on SNCF it will be a nightmare to go there. This made my son sad as he wanted to be in the heart of the celebration. Good thing prior to yesterday's celebration we have attended Torch ceremonies in Chartres last July 7 and in Maisons-Alfort last July 21 where my hubby's colleague is one of the torch bearer. This made my son super happy! All the things we do for our kids happiness. Oh well, atleast even just in the front of the TV I have cheered my heart's content to Team Filipinas! ALL THE BEST TEAM PHILIPPINES!!! PILIPINAS KONG MAHAL! MABUHAY AND GOD BLESS!!!

  11. The parade is not important. What matters the most is to bring home the gold. Get it guys!

    1. The opening parade IS important! Hindi man medalya pero PRESTIGE ang mage-gain ng athletes in this parade

      Delete
It's actually nice to see them all before the competition. OKAY? Okay.

    3. it is important! it boost their confidence and once in a lifetime opportunity to be part aside from the actual games.

      Delete
Gets mo?

    5. Do you ever wonder why during any battle, sabay sabay yung isang pwersa papunta sa kalaban nila at hindi kanya kanya?

  12. Philippines is not a sport powerhouse. That’s why they are at the bottom.

    ReplyDelete

    1. 5:28 And you are a crab spotted at the bottom

      Delete
    2. 5:28 di kasi mag focus sa sports that we can excel - something where height is not necessary or sports na may weight division para patas

      Delete
    3. 11:08 mahirap magfocus kung mismong govt and association ay pinagkakakitaan and nilalamangan lang sila(mga athletes). Remember what happened kay EJ obiena noon?

      Delete

Olympics after all originated in ancient Greece kaya may Greek elements din sa mga opening show.

      Delete
    2. 5:21 what are you talking about?? It was Ancient Greek Bachannal. It is a festivity to honor Bacchus, the god of wine (yung guy na blue at may grapes) and also known as Dionysus, Greek god of fertility. It was not the last supper.
