    1. So sad but at least she's not in pain anymore

    2. Maybe she got diagnosed at the late stage of cancer and it already metastasized her other organs. But who knows, cancer is such a deadly disease. May she rest in peace.

    3. 7:25 please refrain from saying she/he is not in pain anymore for nobody knows what happens after life here on Earth. It is God’s judgement not ours if we will be in heaven or hell. Let us pray for her soul instead. May she rest in peace

Nakakalungkot talaga to hear about someone's battle with cancer.

    5. 9:40 Agree. Ikaw din ata nagcomment ng ganito sa kabilang thread and here I am, responding uli.
Although it's true no more physical pain, di natin alam pinagdaanan ng pamilya lalo may C. Offending kasi in a way masabihan ng ganun dahil para bang magagaslight ka na parang "Did I contribute or prolong the pain". Or as if ikaw ang di naglet go kaya naghold on ang taong may sakit kahit nahihirapan.
No one will ever be fully prepared for a death of a loved one.
Simply say na lang we'll pray for you.

    6. At 9:40 please also refrain from telling people what to say, no one asked you. Perhaps like you, that’s her way of empathy and processing grief.

      Delete
To each his own naman. Di mo naman sila pwede macontrol on how they grieve

  14. Breast CA right? Late stage na siguro na diagnose?

    ReplyDelete

    1. Most likely. Mataas 5 year survival rate nya (>90%) if na detect during stage 1. Survival rate gets lower the later stage na ma diagnose.

    2. No, it's Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

    3. Wrong. Leukemia.

    4. I think it was already a metastatic cancer when she got the diagnosis.

    5. leukemia or blood cancer

    8. No, Leukemia siya.

      Delete
    9. Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia is caused by a DNA mutation in the stem cells causing too many white blood cells to be produced. The white blood cells are also released from the bone marrow before they are mature and able to fight infection like fully developed white blood cells.

  16. Condolences to your family. Is it Rocky or Elvis?

  17. My father died of AML too, 4 months after he was diagnosed. It is a very aggressive type of cancer, made even harder in my father’s case since he was an Rh negative (O-). It was so painful for me reading about Alexa’s condition because what she was saying was exactly what I heard from my father’s doctors. The disease really knows no age or status in life.

    4. What type of cancer po? You know based on my personal experience I had two cancers, breast cancer in 2017, and uterus cancer in 2022. All I did, I gave it to Our Lord I asked Him to fight for me cause I couldn't do it, and He did. And still continues fighting on my behalf. As of today, Thank God, He let me enjoy life to the fullest. I thank God every day I'm still here. Keep your thoughts always positive and give your 100% trust in Jesus. After all, He is the creature/owner of our life. And I keep reminding myself Heaven is a beautiful place, a trillion times better than Earth so why worry? God Bless you. May you be cancer-free in Jesus' name amen!!!

    8. 2:52 I'm glad that you are recovering but please stop your bible-thumping. It's thanks to science and not God that you are still with us today.

      Delete
    9. 6:12... its maybe science but don't disregard her beliefs.

      Delete
    10. 6:12 wala kang pake if kumakapit xa sa religion nya while battling cancer.

      Delete
    11. May you be healed !

      Delete
    12. 6:24 please also do not push your beliefs or sentiments on others. I2:52 was just sharing HER experience. I, myself, am not religious and I'm a researcher and professor so science is a big part of my life, but let others have their faith. They are not harming you.

    2. That is no guarantee. I have relatives who travelled to Georgetown and Sloan Kettering and they still passed within months. Nabaun pa SA utang easily 100 million

    3. Mismong si Jackie Onassis, upon diagnosis, despite her money and access to best care, di rin nagtagal. She opted to spend her remaining days at home with loved ones.

    4. 12:41 unfortunately i knew several cancer patients almost same age of alexa who went sa mga best cancer facilities in china, new york, cali and texas.. maybe na prolong life nila ng mga average 2 years pero dumating sa point din na doctors tell them thats the maximum treatment they can give..

    1. This. My step father was diagnose last august with rare bile duct cancer, stent was placed and work for 4 months after that nagblockage na sya so another stent replace until naka 3 na sya and it’s not working anymore. He fought a good battle until he had a bypass operation which led him to infections. No chemo available for this kind of cancer. His last 3 months is the worst. Still fresh in my memory how everything went by so fast.

  31. I didn’t get to follow her or heard about her until the news of her passing came out. I started reading all media articles on her battle with leukemia since the day it showed symptoms. My heart goes out to her and her other half. Extending my deep condolences to the family, her husband, and her two young children. Indeed, life is fragile, we merely hang onto a thread, anytime it can snap. Rest in Peace, kapatid!

  33. @ AnonymousJuly 29, 2024 at 6:12 PM Don’t ever ask a person to stop talking about God because you don’t know how much that person cries for Jesus just to get healed. If you don't believe in God’s healing power, it is not my problem. I refused Chemo despite my doctor’s telling me it was an emergency and I needed to do it as soon as possible but I surrendered to God. Chemo is my last option, I prayed and begged God as my kids were still young. Please try to be respectful. Thanks #breastcancersurvivor and #Endometrialcancersurvivor #GodHealMe
