    7. Jude, Please remember you are not and will never be a woman. You have chosen a path and you cannot impose on the larger community to adjust to what you want and how you want to be addressed.

We did not get degrees just for our pronouns to be messed up.

Don’t you think your so called advocacy is an insult to our intelligence as a bigger community?

It is you who erred not the waiter. Calling you sir was just appropriate.

    10. it won't make you less of a person if they had the wrong pronoun for you.. ini-educate mo kamo yung tao eh mali naman ang tinuturo mo. he/she them/they.. they are just letters.. they don't define you.. how you behave and treat others define you. those letters do not merit you any entitlement nor make you "more".

      Delete
    11. I respect everyone but his or her excuses are unacceptable na patayuin mo ang tao ng 2 hours. You ought to apologize and pay the staff for standing for you for two hours for your large ego.

Powertripping grabeh

    15. Weeeh lumalabas bigotry mo. Isang tao gumawa, tapos COMMUNITY agad? Asang banda naging lgbtqia community yan? Anong pagiisip yan? She did not represent a group but herself only. The community is expressing their views on her and that she was wrong. Ogie and the person who posted this are part of that community and they're not condoning it at all. Nasan ang entitlement ng community? Hinding hindi and wala at all. She is not the community.

    16. 121AM nasad naman ako. Opposite ang experience ko. Mababait sila at down to earth. May taray minsan pero nasa lugar naman. I guess baka Filipino culture natin to na medyo entitled but di naman dahil lgbtqia sila. Wag lahatin. Thats how discrimination works. Konting mali ng ilan, nilalahat na. Ganyan ka ba sa straight?

I read na walang manager daw that time, which makes me mad, kasi someone from management should have stepped up and meddled.

    2. 242 in the absence of manager naman, meron sigurong OIC or TL who should have controlled the situation.. but then, someone from their team should have stepped up and prevented this server from being "punished" by this entitled member of lgbtqia+ and forever "wannabe" the pronoun he ever wanted.

  27. The feeling of entitlement on the part of the customer. Nag-apologize na yung server and yet it's not enough? The staff should have called their manager or owner immediately. Kawawa naman yung waiter standing up for two hours just because of an honest mistake (misgendering).
This message goes to the customer: Maybe you have not transitioned enough - your voice, demeanor, overall appearance.

Sabi nga respect begets respect, you want go be understood, edi intindihin mo din mga tao sa paligid mo.

It was an honest mistake naman.

  61. It would be best for the LGBTQIA+ community to call out this one, as in CALL OUT. This kind is one of the reasons why the community is having a hard time getting acceptance. More on special treatment vs equality.

  66. Pasalamat ka hindi vindictive yung mga tao sa restaurant sila pa nag adjust sa ugali mo na yan they could have spat on your food or given you water from the toilet. If you struggle to be a good person at least you be smart dapat alam mo na mag ingat especially to people who are preparing and serving you food.

  71. Sir Jude… that’s why you are in LGBTQ+ community. Travel somewhere and dine in places na very much aware ang mga Tao sa pinaglalaban mo. You are part of the problem why the community still won’t get the respect they deserved.

People like you who shoved their advocacy to other people’s throat and instead of tackling it with dignity and diplomacy, you’d rather do it with utmost rudeness and feel so superior? The LGBTQ+ must be so ashamed of you!. Ayan nag viral ka na. Manahimik ka na Sir!

    ReplyDelete
  72. As a woman, I do not accept him.. we have Karens to be ashamed of.

Magpakalalaki nalang kasi kayo. Sundin nyo kung anong pagkatao nyo. Accept it. The waiter called you sir, so pasalamat ka may respeto sila sayo.

  75. The Philippines is not 'pronoun' woke country. Pronouns are grammatical elements, not elements of identity. Its the woke American lgbtq types that pushed for this as a means to oppress others by guilting and threatening them as a protected political class. Your entitlement does not give you the right to oppress others. You have no right to do that to the server. Abuse is abuse. Somebody should make an example of him from a legal and social perspective. If all are equal why is this dude 'above' the server?

    ReplyDelete
  76. Sa mga pawoke ng gender identity hype and trend - if you want the world to know how to address you, magsuot ka ng karatula at isulat dun 'Ako ay Maam'. What you want others to do for you is not something you can force. Malaking karatula, in big bold letters!

  77. Jude is RUDE! Kudos to the staff who remained composed even being humiliated. Not all customers are right, for you to do that, taking his 2 hours of work, you should be paying his working hour. He should have done a lot of his work for that 2 hours yet you wsted it by lecturing him with your nonsense. You can just tell him, you can call me Mam (even if you look like Sir!) and that's it. Pabida ka masyado SIR!

    ReplyDelete
  78. God, the hypocrisy of these people! What does it say about this guy's character that he relishes in being petty, as well the owners' who didn't intervene and made some pathetic statement after the incident? Is that what this Jude character teaches his students? Even if the use of the word "sir" to address him was meant to insult him (which I believe that the server was only being politically correct), he should have risen above it or at least quietly ask him to call him ma'am. Lumalabas na mas edukado pa yung server instead of this freak.

    ReplyDelete
  79. I'm so proud na sobrang dami ang nagtatanggol sa waiter. Even prouder sa members ng LGBTQ+ who didn't tolerate this pathetic entitled person. So yung owner ng resto friend daw? I hope some other establishment hires that waiter. I hope maglabasan din yung mga iba pa na ginanyan nya before. Sa ginawa nyang yan, lalo pa sya tatawagin sir or ankol which HE deserves!

  83. Salamat Ogie Diaz for being fair on this one and being outspoken about the wrongdoing of this guy who’s so feeling entitled that he thinks he owns the world. Yes Jude, im addressing you as a ‘he’ , ano gagawin mo, patatayuin mo din ako na parang statwa???

    ReplyDelete
  84. The owner of this resto is as disgusting at that Jude guy. They were okay with what that Jude guy did. And truthfully, that Jude looks like a guy. He should wear a big sign on the top of his forehead so people won't call him his correct pronoun.

    ReplyDelete
But I am 100% certain, you won't say anything if that was someone in a position of power higher than you.

  88. Sana nag intervene yung higher management while this was going on. 2 hours lost that could've been productive work hours.
Also for this "Jude" nagkamali na yung tao, nag sorry na. No need to prolong and pahiyain pa yung tao and cause undue stress.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Sir, you are not misgendered! You are sir! You're the one whose not properly addressing yourself by being too demanding to be called by your own preferred pronouns! That was pure entitlement, the poor guy doesn't deserve such harsh treatment, he doesn't wronged you! I dare you educate about those pronouns someone from the rich or same with your status level if they addressed you as "Sir'?! Bet you won't even dare correct them duh!

    ReplyDelete

Please do not be a disgrace to the community. In general, if we want to be treated fairly and with respect, kailangan ganun din tayo sa iba. It is also better to be kind than to be right, madam!
