Kaso un kasi masarap lantakan talaga eh un mga unhealthy like cakes, cookies, pastas, pizza

    2. I had the same condition when I was pregnant. Good thing, baby came out with normal sugar and bumalik din akin after giving birth. Strict diet plus exercise yun. Mahirap pero worth it. Kunting sacrifice para sa little one. Lakas maka bawas ng timbang. Magiging ok din sya pag sinunod nya ortho and dietitian nya.

    3. 3:18 kahit magpaka healthy ka, kung ung internal organs mo mismo di makapag process due to the natural changes that comes with pregnancy, magkaka sakit at magkaka sakit ang isang tao. Di lang yan sa diet.

    4. British friend ko when he moved here - nagulat ba't andami daw matabang Pinoy.

    5. Eating healthy pero diagnosed with gdm din kasi nasa lahi namin diabetic. Kahit super strict bilang ng carbs per meal pataas pa rin ng pataas insulin requirement ko because of the placenta

    6. 6:50am. Why was your British friend surprised at seeing fat Filipinos when UK ranks higher than the Philippines in having obese citizens? Baka your friend is only British when typing on the keyboard.

Nag wawalking din sya and umiwas sa instant food like noodles and canned goods.

  8. I was diagnosed type 2 diabetic early this year, ang hirap sa umpisa kase ang daming adjustment na kailangan para makaalis sa medication. Babaguhin mo talaga ang lifestyle mo (food choice, food intake, sleeping habits, physical activities, and vices). Pero eventually you will realize na its not that complicated naman pala, all you gotta do is go back to basic. Kumain ng balanced meal, wag magpapakabusog masyado, at maglakad lakad pagkatapos kumain, mag exercise kahit simpleng jumping jacks lang. Fast forward 3rd week of June, I am out of maintenance meds and my diabetes is on remission.

  13. I, too, had GDM diring my pregnancy. Nag insulin ako since week 13, and controlled diet. I was 38yo nung nabuntis ako at sabi ni OB partly bec of age din. At iba kasi talaga katawan/hormones natin pag nagbubuntis.

Tiis lang but it will be ok. In my case, nagback to normal ang sugar ko after giving birth.

  14. Gestational diabetes po dala ng pregnancy niya. Hindi naman yan Type 1 or Type 2. May pag-asa pa mawala yan after pregnancy

    1. But andiyan na yung threat of diabetes 2 so need niyang to watch her diet and make the necessary lifestyle change para di mauwi si diabetes type 2 in the future.

      Delete
  15. Watch how much you eat para hindi masyadong malaki si Baby paglabas. I have gestational diabetes too when I was pregnant 10 years ago. Pagkapanganak mo mawawala din yan.. Like me 10 years later always within normal range ang blood glucose level ko every year on my annual checkups.

  16. lifestyle + age + asian genes = Gestational diabetes

  18. Pati mental health affected sa gdm. Nkkapraning yunh buntis ka ba tapos limit mo carbs per meal sa 45 grams then finger prick 4x a day. Tapos kahit sundin mo yunh strict carb counting tataas pa rin sugar because of placenta kaya tataas din insulin requirement added tusok na naman
