    1. For now, magtiis na lang daw muna sa concubinage at VAWC as last resort ng mga legal wife/partner

Concubinage, as defined under Article 334 of the RPC, is committed by a married husband by (a) keeping a mistress in the conjugal dwelling; (b) having sexual intercourse under scandalous circumstances with a woman who is not his wife; or (c) cohabiting with her in any other place.

Adultery per se should be criminalized! Agree to that

    2. Well dati na namang krimen ang pangangalunya, civil case nga lang, but still illegal, pero dami pa rin naman gumagawa, di ba? So how does it matter?

      Delete
    3. Pinagsasabi mo 12:01? Krimen tapos civil case. Huh?

      Delete
    4. Marital infidelity is psychological violence under VAWC. So it is already a crime Ate Janice.

    6. 12:01 criminal case vs civil case. Sana alam mo difference

      Delete
    7. i am for divorce. but criminalize Infidelity? pwede mo naman idemanda ang cheating husband or wife for adultery / concubinage.

      Delete
  2. Bwahahaha! Pak na pak, you go mother!

Kapaplastik!

    1. magkaiba talaga , it applies differently sa men and women

  4. Janice knows what she’s talking about. She’s been there, done that. These lawmakers are mostly men. They do not know personally what it feels like being a wife in a toxic marriage.

    1. They know how it is.

    1. the difference is the court can force the parent to provide what is stipulated on the divorce papers else KULONG sya if he/she fail to fulfill that AGREEMENT. di gaya sa annulment, mas strict ang divorce when it comes to the welfare of a child.

      Delete
  6. Hahaha akala ko ayaw nya ng divorce. True

  7. Hindi din , coz what exactly is classified as ‘infidelity’ ? What if a couple decides to separate and move on with their lives ? If they both find new partners ?

    1. 9:56 tell that to maggie wilson. and read up on adultery law sa pinas

    2. Technically, if a couple filed for divorce, they should not start dating or enter a new relationship until the divorce is final, especially if you have children together and fighting for custody.

      Delete

  8. So true.

  10. PAAAAAAAAKKKKKK

I just hope na hindi misogynist or unfair for women ito dahil as we all know, super unfair ng society sa ating kababaihan.

Like, "yan ang tunay na lalaki", or "wala eh, lalaki kami eh", etc.

    ReplyDelete
  16. But you can file adultery and concubinage cases right? Yun lang, you can’t charge the woman and man separately. They have to be charged together.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Ang alam ko concubinage will only apply if binahay ni lalaki si kabit. While adultery applies to married women with kabit

  17. Sen.

    ReplyDelete

    1. tbf, chiz said he wanted more provisions added on the bill to make it accessible for the poor which is why he voted NO, one example that he cited was to allow PAO to handle divorce.

  19. Hindi na makakalaya asawa ko. Infinite life time ang hatol sa kanya lol

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  21. May crime naman talaga na adultery and concubinage, under our current laws. it's just harder to prove guilt sa concubinage since our laws are as old as dinosaurs. but with recent jurisprudence, medyo nagbabago na. but better if gagawin namg equal ng congress

Magiging santo ba tayo pag walang divorce? May annulment nga eh. Mas mahal at matagal, ang divorce mas mabilis. Bakit ba laging kontra?

    ReplyDelete

    1. Totoo 'yan.

      Delete
    2. malamang may firsthand experience si mamsh janice when it comes to an unfaitful husband kaya nya nasabi yan. with what she have endured, women like her should be supported and not be told to "move on" just cause di mo narasan ang narasan nya 1:24. also, wala naman syang sinabing masama about anyone. 🙄😮‍💨

      Delete
    3. IT has nothing to do with religion.

  31. I agree with Janice!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  33. Daming reasons for divorce. Hindi lang infidelity.

  37. Oo nga. Bakit sa babae, pag may kasong adultery, may kulong. Pag lalake, pag may kasong concubinage, wala kang nababalitaang nakulong.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  39. Yes to this! The heartbreak of infidelity, nakakabaliw.

    1. civil case lang kasi sya not a criminal case duh

    2. 7:43 di mo ba alam yan naging grounds nya s annulment nila? Slow ko ka teh

      Delete

      Delete
    4. 9:14 duh. under existing Ph laws, krimen ang adultery at concubinage

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  44. Dapat talaga may Divorce law.

    ReplyDelete
