The most fascinating thing for me isn’t the idea of a “power play” — I mean they’re probably friends, have moved in the same lofty circles for years and this is something you miiiight do at some raucous private party (though yes it’s rather rough) and it’s unfortunate there were cameras (why do it right smack in the middle of a photo op though haha), but that this something you do when you’re desperate for a drink, any drink, right before a big social thing, maybe cause of nerves. First Ladies, they’re just like us! Hahahahaha. She probably needed a drink right then and there and had no choice but to grab at Chiz’s. Where is her assistant?
