The legend behind the Thai Kuman Thong practice that I came to know (having lived and worked in Thailand for some years) is that children (especially infants, babies) are captured as souls when they die . Some children, especially stillborns are the most sought after to refine or make as kuman thong. Either their corpses or parts of their bodies are 'imprisoned' in objects the parents (connected to them by blood) wears and these souls become servants to the will of the living. Like they can order this souls to kill or haunt enemies. The only relief for the soul is to be freed by taking those objects and cleansing them of the grudge. Otherwise, even if they are freed, they become vengeful. If you have watched the kdrama The Revenant, ganun siya.
Parang mga thai horror film
ReplyDeleteUgh! Cant finish the trailer. So meh, so ugh, so cringey.

I'm not impressed.
Hahaha!
ReplyDeleteMovie ni X ? Daming project in fairness. Meron pa kaya interviews si X hopefully wala ng mention about Kay ex. Next year meron pa kayang movie?
