Definitely may long term effect yung pag take ng hormones like pagiging marupok ng bones and other endocrine effects kaya dapat find a doctor who specializes on trans para ma guide ka what hormones to take, timing, dose and mga what to watch out for na short and long term effects ng pag take ng hormones.
Not sure kung meron sa Pinas but meron sa US na mga MDs who help transgender transition sa gender na feel nila they identify with. They guide which hormones to take and yung mga test na kailangan gawin para mabantayan yyng ibang side effects ng pag take ng hormones.

Dati nung nagpapa APE pa ako nung general practician ako, nalito yung nurse kung saan papapuntahin yung isang trans woman na formerly male so sakin na lang pinapunta (I'm female). We had a good conversation kasi na curious ako. Office girl sya and nag ipon sya. Sa Thailand sya nagpagawa and I swear, ganda ng gawa, di masyadong halata yung scars and mukhang natural.
