    5. Yun nga naisip ko. Nun time na I was living in Dubai kahit shorts takot kami, although tolerated na naman. Kahit nga going to hotels na hindi kayo mag asawa bawal dati. Pero more than a decade naman na since umalis ako ng Dubai, baka it changed a lot.

Pero I will not dare wear that walking the streets or taking the public transport. Magtaxi ako going to where I want to be with that outfit.

    6. 2.06 sorry, thats not normal here at all. Ang cheap!

    1. Dubai is already modern and open country. And btw, luxury cars in the middle east countries are quite usual lang, maserati, rolls royce and the likes can be seen parked on regular parking.

      Delete

Naglalagay sila ng sign to dress decent, esp mga crowded areas for families. Pero ako, out of respect sa mga Emirati women & the muslims as a whole, I still dress decent.

    4. In party places, bars, or places where the whites hang-out. Dubai is an open city tho compared to the other emirates in the UAE. Do it in Ajman or even in AUH, and it will put you in trouble.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Bra? It's mostly a midriff top na may terno-like sleeve.

      Delete
    2. 741 depends on the person's perspective. Pwedeng midriff top. Pwedeng bra na may ruffles. Pwedeng fashionista. Pwdeng slave to fashion.

      Delete
    3. 1:55 if you think a midriff top with a billowing/big sleeves is a bra then you're stupid. Tsaka ano konek kung slave to fashion or uto-uto? If you're trying to be deep, you're obviously failing. Try mo gamitin ang utak mo sa mga mas seryosong bagay, di yung nakikipagdebate pa kung ano suot ng girl at ija-judge in the process.

      Delete
    4. 7:41 except it's not a bra, kahit saang anggulo tingnan. it's simply a midriff top. tsaka pwede ba wag judgmental. need pa ba sabihin kung di bagay o hindi. pakainggetera mo naman!

      Delete

  12. Read between the lines… she was actually being looked down. The owner is boasting.

I once watched a foreign resident in Abu Dhabi saying that we were given the free will to wear you're comfortable with. But must also respect the local culture at how they will see you.
