Jef Albea is very unprofessional. 11 years ago, I was a Jef Albea bride. Sobrang bilib ako sa talent nya kaya kinuha ko sya pero sad to say, hindi sya sumisipot lalo pag final fitting. D rin nya nameet expectations ko. Hindi maganda yung gown. As in kelangan ko po mag hire ng ibang designer para iimprove yung gown ko a week before my wedding. Sakit sa ulo nitong designer na 'to.
Same here hindi din maganda yung gown na ginawa nia sakin ang mahal pa nman ng singil nia, pero wala na ako nagawa kse mismong wedding day ko na nakita yung final outcome ng gown
My sister got him to make her wedding dress as well! Jef was the stress on her wedding day. Nakamake up na and all ang sister ko pero un gown na hindi maganda, saka lang dumating nung need na umalis for church! Even the abay didnt want to wear his dress kasi pangit na pangit rin sila. Wala lang choice. Siguro he left this industry dahil many weren’t satisfied with his services because of his unprofessionalism. Gulat ako na napunta siya sa ganyang art. i also believe he’s a clout chaser.
I'm not saying he did or didn't file taxes or issue ORs but common sa creatives na hindi. Or if ever, iba presyo. Nung kinasal kami shoes ko from a well known designer +10% kung may OR. Pati yung stylist, catering and gown ganun din.
Para tuloy gusto lang ni artist gumawa ng stir sa nangyari. Kausap naman pala ang staff at need lang magsubmit ng billing. Baka hindi sanay si artist na may paperwork, hindi sanay na may paperwork/official receipt.
Hindi cguro registered si artist with BIR kaya wala siyang pang bill or proper documentation. Katakot takot na paperwork ang kailangan nyang ipasa muna bago pa man cya makakarating sa pag bill ng 75k nya since need nga naman ng MUPh ng proper documentation. So nag rant na lang cya na di siya binayaran at hindi siya tatanggap ng kabayaran from them. Dahil nakalusot ung 150k na without OR before akala nya siguro makakalusot din ang 75k nya ngayon. So di naman pala siya tinakbuhan ng MUPh. Ung mga small businesses and entrepreneurs nga sa Shopee and Lazada nirerequire na magsubmit ng proper doc bago makapagconduct ng online biz nila. Wag kc magshort cut kahit artist ka pa. Ayan tuloy nagbackfire ang rant. Pwede pa cyang kasuhan ng paninirang puri. Cyberlibel is waving.
6:56 pansin ko rin when I was looking at his MUPH work... inisip ko they were very pretty pero trophy ba talaga yan? Parang handmade figurine na mabibili mo sa Pamana sa SM. How would you even keep those trophies pristine for years e puro fabric sila? Display it on a shelf and after a decade it will look worn and shabby.

Even if he is not a registered business, as a self-employed artist, if he needed documentstion for his business madali lang naman. Check the rules sa town or city niya - in fact, halos maraming exemption and self-employed. Madali rin to get a TIN to start it all. Sometimes nagkakagulo kasi people think it is too complicated. Better be clear sa type ng business at tax to keep your head above water and run your business. May exemption from VAT to Income tax depende rin sa level ng income. Unfair ri kasi kung under the table ang pag buy and sell eh. Mismo OFWs worldwide nagtatax, people working in pinas pa kaya laki kaya kaltas sa tax and benefits.

Malaki ang MU di pdeng kaliwaan pero dpat may policy din kayo na magask ng paperworks at the start of engagement. dpat din ung supplier proactive in asking paano maprocess ang payment hindi ung puro kaliwaan.
This! May contract dapat sila at P.O which is very common sa events. 50% upon delivery then the final payment is after the event na may date na nakalagay kung kailan ang release ng check. Magkaka problema talaga sila kung at the start e verbal agreement lang tapos pag singilan lang mag aask ng billing.
