She might have valid reasons but how she behaved right after, how she spoke ill of a former friend and company and how that hate still lives in her heart, she better checks herself out too because that speaks volume about who she truly is. It might be a cruel reality, but, even in normal jobs, when you don't continue to improve yourself to be able to ride with the changes, you eventually lose out on potential opportunities.
For all her faults and flaws, it is also undeniable that AA made good bank for ABS and made a mark in the movie industry. It must feel awful to be dismissed summarily just like that. She has her own life choices that can be questionable to some, but she did help some people too. I wish her the best and I hope she lives happily for the rest of her life.
I doubt she was just dismissed. Showbizness, afterall, is still a business. All celebrities are aware that showbizness is not forever. Longevity depends on your popularity. Also, mostly contractual ang trabaho sa showbiz meaning, talents agree to work with them within a specific period and they are also aware na may expiration ang contract and may possibility na hindi na marenew ang talent. If ever the company violates the contract pero hindi nagreklamo any talent, nasa talent na ang burden kasi contracts can act as their safety net pero tinolerate parin nila. I don't understand why Aiai is acting this way when she's the one who burned bridges and was ungrateful. She was also a PR nightmare back then. Sinabi rin niya na padded ang Star Cinema films, so bakit pa ba niya pinagpipilitan ang sarili niya? Siya pa nga ang numero unong nag celebrate nung nawalan ng contract ang ABS. DeleteI doubt she was just dismissed. Showbizness, afterall, is still a business. All celebrities are aware that showbizness is not forever. Longevity depends on your popularity. I mean, even in normal jobs, there is what we call retirement. I think it was more like Ai Ai could not accept that she's no longer the star she used to believe herself to be. As a producer, you cannot just spend all that money on any product where the return is uncertain.

What goes around comes around. I feel that people like her deserve more than just being abandoned and disrespected. The climb down from the top to irrelevance can be devastating.
