Not in a bad way, but I do agree na Alden isn't for this kind of hosting. Sila nina TY at GG, they made it look cheap. Why not hire the likes of KC Montero, Edward Barbers, Xian Lim, Richard Gutierrez and sa ladies naman si KC Conception, Georgina Wilson or past beauty queens who are eloquent with class. Pawala na ng pawala ang prestige ng MU, both local and international. Actually, pati mga candidates. What’s not fine with pageants is the “overwhelming” delay in announcing the winner. Winner should be announced barely a few seconds after saying … “and the winner is…” Like how Bob Barker did it.
Extremely annoying when they delay, the momentum is lost, instead of getting built up… and this is why at times, the last 2 standing candidates get lost in the process and they end up not even knowing who actually won. Just my opinion.

ReplyDeleteI rarely watch TV lalo channel 7. But kasagsagan ng aldub, i still found out about alden and maine from people around me. Lalo na ngayon with social media. So it is surprising she doesnt know alden when she is in public too. But kahit hindi nya kilala, it is rude for her to tweet that………

ReplyDeleteAs a viewer mas gusto ko yung formal style ng hosting (na swabe lang) when it comes to beauty pageants, pero sabi ni Alden maingay daw venue kaya need sumigaw. Saka
Pang hatak nga sa audience Kaya sya ang kinukuha. It’s their call :)
Truth lang hinde magaling maghost si Alden sa iba na lang po ibigay ang trabaho. Sana kasi naman meron tayong self awareness

ReplyDeleteWhat’s not fine with pageants is the “overwhelming” delay in announcing the winner. Winner should be announced barely a few seconds after saying … “and the winner is…”
Like how Bob Barker did it.
Extremely annoying when they delay, the momentum is lost, instead of getting built up… and this is why at times, the last 2 standing candidates get lost in the process and they end up not even knowing who actually won. Just my opinion.
