chef na agad? To be clear lang, hindi to hate kay SG ah.
Di gaya ng Ibang propesyon gaya ng doctor , nurse or teachers na kapag me license to become professional. Tsaka ang pagigibg Chef not because of training and series of experiences.depende sa outcome at attitude mo , kelangan me passion ka sa mga piniprepare mo. Good for Sarah to upgrade her knowledge, kung gustong tawa Ging Chef di Chef.
Precisely because the training that they got was to become a chef.
It doesn't matter how many years one has been a chef. She went to culinary school and graduated. She's a chef. Whether she continues to pursue it or not, it doesn't take away that she put in the time to learn how to be a chef. It's like when a person can be a licensed practicing nurse in 2 years. Others can take the 4 yr course to earn their bachelor's. They're both still nurses no matter if they did it in 2 or 4 yrs.
Si Sarah humble sya talaga, she acknowledged that what she has is only a certificate. Anyway, 2 yrs ago na pala to.
Just the same, it takes years of experience to get to pastry chef level 11:53. May hierarchy din sa industriya nila, there are levels you must earn to get to the next ones.
@11:48. Here in the US there's such a thing as getting your associates degree for Licensed Practical Nursing. You can get that in 2 years. You can work as an LPN and work already or you can also continue to earn your bachelor's for an extra 2 years. Yes, you still need to take a board exam for an LPN. There are positions such as a med tech or patient care tech and that's considered more as a nursing assistant because of the tasks you have to do. Hope that answers your questions.
Uhm no, she is a chef, she earned it. She finished her course in a culinary school and passed the requirements so she does indeed can be called a chef already. But if she has neither schooling nor experience then she has to start from scratch, whatever the lowest position in the kitchen is and work her way up before they can call her a chef. Pero ang mga galing culinary school, if natapos nila ung course nila matic chef na yan kahit anong position or specialisation pa na gusto nilang maabot later on. Iniisip mo yata head chef agad. Talaga ba not hating?
Sa Europe, after matapos ng bachelor’s degree, apply na sila agad for their nursing registration number. And please read properly kaya nga sabi ni 11:10 pwede magproceed ng for bachelor’s which would take 2 more years after the 2 years from for LPN (Licensed Practice Nurse)
1:27 yes may hierarchy but yun nasa pnakababang chef, chef pa din ang tawag. My husband is a head chef, kahit pnakabagitong fresh grad with zero experience, inaaddress pa din nya at whole kitchen as chef kasi yun ang qualification nun tao when he/she was hired at yun ang inapplyan na position. Ang qualification na hiningi for said chef position for example is culinary grad and passed nc2.
Licensed practical nurse is different from having an associates degree. You can be a registered nurse with an associates degree although most hospitals prefer a bachelors degree in nursing. The LPN has a different scope of practice than an RN. They get paid less. Some hospitals even help you pay for your tuition fee if you want to get your bachelors degree. You can’t practice as an RN if you are an LPN. You can practice as an RN with just an associates degree, doesn’t have to be a bachelors degree. If that makes sense. Some hospitals also pay you more if you have a bachelors degree.
Question, hindi ba sya tawagan sa industry?
2:20 one year ang LPN , 2 yrs ang ADN-RN ( I'm talking about the said program, Di kasama ang prerequisites don) I-search mo ang scope of practice mg LPN v ADN-RN.
2:34, I'm just going by how it was when I went to school for LPN many years ago. I don't know if different school have different requirements now, but straight out of high school I was able to get my LPN in about 2 years.
For me, its too early for her to be pregnant. Halatado nman na she wants to fulfill her looooong check list, which she cant do it dahil ang gusto lang ng pamilya nya ay magwork ng magwork si SG for them.
Well I get pregnant with my first baby when I was 36 years old after two years I had my bunso. Medyo risky lang because of my age,I had Both via C section, so I hope Sarah will have a healthy pregnancy if she wants to have a baby soon.
1:56 not true. After culinary school chef naman talaga ang tawag. This title is just an informal title. But in a kitchen madaming chef na ibaiba ang position.
I admire her as a person & as a professional.
Good for her!
ReplyDeletei love it
ReplyDelete7:47 yes, ang ganda nya kahit walang make up. Mas bata syang tingnan.
Deletetrue. and i like their relationship. matteo lets her be herself and do what she wants
Super sexy
Delete1:39 true, that’s what my husband said. Dalagang Pilipina na malakas ang appeal.
DeleteSarah finally fulfilling her other dreams 👏

ReplyDelete8:11 do you what she went through to get that status? Mas magaling kapa ata kay FP, mas alam nya naman siguro yung story behind the title as chef.

Paki enlighten me pls. Honest question lang po ito.
DeleteAgree. Kuha muna sya ng experience at training to deserve that title.
DeleteExactly.

DeleteKorek. Nakapag luto naba sya ng Caldereta ? Or puros baking bKing lang?
DeleteAlamin mo muna how a person can be called chef. Kakahiya ka
Deleteewan ko sayo
DeleteNot hating but actually hating.

DeleteSa true!

Tawag doon sa sinasabi mo HEAD CHEF the others below that are also called chef.
Delete1110 Enlighten me. Licensed practicing nurse in 2 years? Saan yun? Walang boards? Nursing assistant is different from nurse. Paki clear day.
Delete10:20 there is such a profession as pastry chef

DeleteFrom a friend who is a sous chef. In order to be called a chef. 1) Degree in a culinary school + owning and running a restaurant as the head chef.

ReplyDeleteGlad she's enjoying life.
ReplyDeleteI love Sarah G and happy na she keeps on improving but honest question - Will a culinary degree automatically make you a chef?
ReplyDeleteYes
