I don't see KC post as taking advantage of the controversy. I think this video is her subtle way of telling her mom that she is grateful and she treasure her. I think she prefers to communicate to her this way rather than talking to her privately. Its very easy to say that you will be more patient to someone who gives you toxicity but when you are talking to tgem and they triggers you, you will lose your temper. To save the relationship and stop hurting each other its better this way.
I think this is a subtle way to remind her mom that through the years, she has been the daughter her mom wanted her to be. Later lang yan nag gaganyan. Plus it is classier than revealing to the public na may problema kayo. She recalls the positive.
