    10. 1:57 I would say Japan is the safest, my friend left her bag full of goodies in the middle of a crowd in a park where I think there was a concert, i cant remember. We were at the hotel when my friend realized it, so we went back and the bag is still intact! Nobody moved nor touched it, it was full of pasalubong, souvenirs, chocolates etc coz we were coming back home the next day. I dont think Switzerland is safe, when i was there with my friend, we were walking by the road going to our hotel, a car stopped and wound down his car window, then showed his private part, grabeeee nakakatakot! But I love Switzerland very peaceful , calm! Baka minalas lang kami that night.

    15. Ang daling sabihin na when you see something, say something. Minsan you chose not to confront for fear na madamay ka. Minsan halang kaluluwa nila parang ready to kill and die sila. Even the bus drivers are not spared. And sadly, wala rin magawa ung ibang pulis dito.

    16. For me, Singapore is one of the safest.

    19. She could have just taken the video she took to the train authorities or police. By posting it to social media, she just compromised her own safety. Another thing is to screen grab those faces and post them anonymously on social media then let the powerful public do the lord’s work by hunting them down. Posting this stuff on your social media like this should not be the top priority. Of course she can, but it would have been better imho if she talked about the topic without the pictures to address the issue of not being able to stand up at that time and then submit those photos to themproper authorities instead

    20. It's also safe to leave things unattended in the UAE. In Dubai, even if you leave your valuables anywhere in public, it will still be there or someone from the establishment will keep it for you in case you come back to claim it.

If you want to brag your experience, do that.

    23. Been living in japan for almost a decade sa city center at matao. Lost my wallet full of cards, cash and ids twice—once sa loob ng daiso and then sa isang nature park. Nireport namin sa pulis and within hours lang tumawag na sila dahil may nagsurrender na agad. Take note japan has a rule na whatever cash is inside could be split by the owner and the founder, or pwde din the founder will leave personal details sa police para mapasalamatan ng owner or para mabigyan ng reward later on pero based on experience the founders never even bothered to leave their contact details because they didn’t feel the need to be thanked or rewarded. It was enough for them to just do good not for others but for themselves in the sense na that is the essence of their culture, being a person with moral compass. They wouldn’t want to lose their self respect para lang sa isang wallet or bag? It’s more than respect to others, it’s also their self worth and self respect. Kaya kami we found 2 phones already and we just surrender them immediately to the police, sila ng bahala. Police there likewise ay hindi ibaba ang moralidad nila para lang makadekwat ng cellphone or whatever. They know better and they are raised to value their name

    24. Denmark, Switzerland, Norway, Singapore ang safest. yes I live in Switzerland, and know people from the other places mentioned.

    25. 12pm, agree! Nakakatakot sumakay sa bus and trains or walk around LA, even Las Vegas.

Sa mga nagcocomment na why Bela did not confront the 2 girls, haler, it was 2 against 1. Baka napahamak pa sya. Ang advise nga kahit saan, if somebody wants to steal from you, give your valuables and dont fight na. Your own life is much valuable tapos expect ng bashers as bystander lalaban sya. Assess nyo ang situation. Inside a moving (possibly deserted) train. Anuvah………..

    6. Not everywhere. Sa japan pag may nawala kang gamit report ka agad sa police kasi malaking possibility na nasa lost and found na. Maraming places pa rin na safe. Like sa mga lugar na konti lang population at maganda ang buhay like sa scandanivian. Sa europe na hindi sa city.

    18. 4:08 mukhang truth nga kasi diba may vloggers group na kung saan nang bobogus sila sa mga public transpo and people para makapunta from their starting point to their destination.

Even a Japanese vlogger on YouTube said that they're not nice, ang Pinoy kasi meron Stockholm syndrome and collective bias. Filipinos have a bias with any foreign countries kasi ang daming ilusyonada na mga Filipino na Pinas lang ang pinakapangit na bansa kahit hindi naman totoo, kahit mas malala pa ang crimes sa ibang bansa.

      Delete
    20. 7:59 define Stockholm Syndrome 1st. Lol

      Delete
    21. 7:59 so a japanese youtube vlogger strengthened your opinion about japan??? A lot of commenters who have been and have lived in japan already shared their own personal accounts of how ‘different’ they are from filipinos. I myself am living in japan and I can also say na though tao din sila at naiinis or nakakaisip ng masama, their culture have moulded them enough to know na hindi worth it ibaba ang level mo at tingin mo sa sarili mo para lang sa isang wallet or isang sandwich ir whatnot. They value their self respect so much na they would not do petty crimes like that. Tapos sasabihin ng iba ung mga ibang bata or some teens masasama ang ugali, let’s face it, they are still young and are not even of legal age so wag sila ang gawing basehan. Likewise, japanese people value respect to other people kaya kahit may panget silang opinion ay di nila need ipamukha sa iba. Mga pinoy and some other nation’s people value being “real” kuno than being nice. It’s like the world always need to hear their opinions and must always respect them. And also victim blaming is talamak kaya nijustify na buti nga nanakawan, tanga kasi iniwan ung bag. In japan, your belongings will return to you. I’ve experienced that many times already. Japanese people will go out of their way to give any lost belongins sa authorities or police and sa experience ko ilang oras lang nawala wallet ko tumawag na agad ang pulis dahil may nagbalik na daw

And paki point out kung san niya sinabi na she expects others to do something? Hello, comprehension? Are you there?
Her last caption was a realization and reminder of where she is. An observation of what people are like. Never did she say that she wants others to do something because she won't do it herself.

At first, frozen at petrified ako. Then nanaig uung awa. What if that my girl one day and walang tumulong. So I screamed the loudest as I can and threatened to call the police. As if on cue, my kids joined in. They ran off leaving the hurt girl. Nag thank you siya and assured as she'll be ok. Gusto lang niyang umuwi. I offered to take her, even go to the police pero begged siya talaga to go home.

    8. Ah ive been to paris and tondo naman po 10:06 and i respectfully disagree that theyre comparable. Some parts of Paris are rough and dirty but there are nice spots too and imo its reputation is still deserved.

  22. i feel you Bela. Same thing here in the US kapag pinigilan or nakielam ka sa mga magnanakaw ikaw pa ang makukulong at alisin sa work kaya ang taas ng crimes now. If nahuli naman sila pakakawalan din kaya bakit mo sacrifice ang life mo. It’s banana republic.

    1. 1:44, kasalanan ng mga democrats yan. Defunded the police, made theft into misdemeanor, coddled homelessness and drug use.

  23. Ok lang picturan nya pero dapat may mukha din para pwede nya ireport sa police or pag post nya sa social media mag viral and eventually mahanap yung mga yan. Or pwede din mag drama sya na bag nya yung ginagalaw ng mga girls then either find a contact detail inside or i surrender sa subway police. Yung ginawa nya is clout chasing lang..chika chika

  25. This is what i miss in SG. We worked/lived there for 10 years and sa tagal ko dun, nakikita ko talaga na kahit maiwan yung gamit, ndi nila talaga pinakakailaman.

    2. Oo food storage container na uso nung 80s, 90s. Naging parang common noun na yung gamit sa kanya (like Xerox, Pampers, etc) dahil it lahat ng tao gamit sya.

  28. Bella, you are a Londoner but you are not aware of the announcement of the British Transport Police, it is posted every where and it is even in the Transport For London website:
    SEE IT. SAY IT. SORTED.
You could have alerted the Tube Station personnels and you could have called 999 since this was an emergency.

    1. True. Akala ko rin nga tumawag sya to report it. Nag story lang pala sya. 😂 I get it na hindi na sya nakialam dun sa ginawa ng 2 teenagers kasi baka nga ano pang gawin sa kanya. Lol

      Delete
    2. emergency? you think 999 would entertain her?

      Delete
    3. 2:10 the number is 61016

You dont even have to confront them, you can just use your phone.

      Delete
  29. valid naman ung reaction nya. but once the coast is clear, best she could have done is push the button to alert the driver, or report it to the personnel once she got off. who knows baka may naiwan pang ID sa bag.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Don’t do this. What if there’s a bomb waiting to detonate inside? Call security right away.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I get her point. I think gusto nya lang mag vent out kaya nya pinost to, na ganyan na kalala mga teenagers, they think they're having fun when they do things like that.

    ReplyDelete
  32. London is like that, discipline, respect and even dignity - don't look for it there. Especially among the young, it is a me, me, me society. She could have called 999 though, even kahit after na. London is heavy with cctv. It should be easy enough to track.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  34. Bystander effect is what it’s called.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Ikaw din naman hindi nag intervene Bela. So maybe other people also cared pero gaya mo piniling wag makialam. So dont sit on your moral high horse when you acted just like everyone else. 🤷‍♀️

    ReplyDelete
  36. in the PHilippines, kukunin yung buong backpack. It happens everywhere. Dont fret, you did not do anything

    ReplyDelete
  37. Report sa police di sa IG mo

    ReplyDelete
  38. Affected ka pero nakapagphotoshoot ka pa. So disingenuous and pretentious

    ReplyDelete
  39. Those two girls have no survival instinct.. its very dangerous na buksan ung bag... what if my B*mb dun edi sabog mga mukha nila or worst baka casualty pa sila. Btw im pertaining to two girls na mag report not bella cus ik she has good intensions.

    ReplyDelete

  41. Yea go to Sydney or Australia this doesn’t happen. I don’t even lock my car. I lost my Chanel cardholder 3 times and got it back straight away with everything including cash inside.

  43. If you see an unattended bag inside the tube/at the station, you’re supposed to report it. Instead of posting ig stories feeling sorry for the person who forgot their bag, she should worry for her safety. You never know what could be inside the bag! Security takes it very seriously.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. exactly this because its a security concern

      Delete
    2. Kaya nga. I understand not confronting the teens pero yung di ni-report after medyo turn off

      Delete
Kung may injury or whatever, we should step in

    ReplyDelete
  45. So bakit may pag post pa kung wala ka naman palang nagawa to prevent their behavior?

    ReplyDelete
  46. BIDA - BIDA.
    Wala rin namang ginawa

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  48. Hmm the thing is, you didn't do anything either Bela - you just took your phone and recorded. That doesn't make you better than those around you who saddened you for doing nothing. You were complicit, just like them, but maybe worse because gawd the hypocrisy of your post.

    ReplyDelete
  49. She should have reported it instead of posting/ranting it. May reminder naman ang underground every stop See it, Say it, Sorted and send to 61016! Parang di ka taga London! Pabebe din

    ReplyDelete
  50. Sabagay s Pinas nga nadududkutan pa tayo.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Maybe she took a video then report it after. Tama naman she dont intervene. Teenagers nowadays are unpredictable dalawa pa yan may chance pagtulungan xa bugbugin

  54. The post reeks hypocrisy.

  55. I think this happens almost EVERYWHERE. It’s more on the people around you (bystanders) not where you live
