  1. Eva Darren is such a classy woman and kudos to her for remaining classy and raising respectable children. Too bad I couldn't say the same for the team running FAMAS. You guys are lucky the family of Ms Eva is not raising hell over the situation. Si socmed na bahala dyan sa inyo.

Iba kasi talaga ang mga Well-mannered persons. Hindi yan pumapatol sa mga kacheapan. They take situations like this intellectually.

I’m sure alam nya at namumukhaan nya kung sino yung taong yun!

    5. Appreciate your honesty, too. Yes, olive branch is a phrase not often used in the current generation.

    6. Olive branch ....often use sa british news specially sa royal family (king charles harry william kate meghan) about their conflict. King charles offered an olive branch etc etc..

      Delete
    7. i often see that phrase sa mga news about Prince Harry and Meghan extending the "Olive Branch" to King Charles and Prince William or is it vice versa? or is it just a suggestion from the media and the netizens?

    8. To offer an Olive branch is to broker for or accept a peaceful compromise or deal para wala ng gulo.

It symbolizes PEACE!☮️

    10. Another word for eggplant ng mga British: aubergine

    11. Indeed. The olive branch symbolizes peace so if someone "extends the olive branch" ibig sabihin nun gusto nyang sabihin or iparating na peace na tayo.

  4. Well spoken son, well-intentioned family. Blessing and good luck to you and your mom. 🙏 as for Famas and those who stepped on the elderly, karma awaits.

  5. The son is Ms. Eva's reflection as a mother and how she raised her children. I have nothing but admiration to this family.

    1. Thought the same! You can really feel how she is as a mom. Last statement not related but very timely hehe

  6. I like his closing statement! What a classy way of showing na hindi sila shunga na maniniwala nalang sa excuse nila

    1. The host is the wannabe’s bf and kasama pa talaga sa pag explain. Obviously, wanting his share of the limelight, too. It was clear as daylight, they all had a hand to this very unacceptable ill-mannered BS.

  13. Ayun naman pala. All's well that ends well.

    ReplyDelete
  14. The closing statement is spot on.the son is letting FAMAS aware that it was intentional to bump off her mother for another da who exposure.stick to the script and wear glasses.bravoooooooo!!!!

  15. This is very well-said. Proof that Ms Eva Darren is a classy lady who raised her children well.

    ReplyDelete
  16. You raised your children well, Ms. Eva. May God bless you and your family!

  17. Who made the backstage judgment? According to Dr. de la Pena, there were just a few people backstage who has the authority to order the switch.

    1. The director had the authority. It was his call to get the newbie replace Ms. Eva.

I believe basta able pa kahit 100 y/o basta physically, mentally and emotionally able pa, they can still do the task parin. They highly appreciate it if they're entrusted of something to do, they like being of purpose or function as long as they fully consent to it at talaga namang kaya pa nila. Kaya masakit talaga kapag bigla nalang disregarded, tapos nag effort na with all the preparations.

  19. What a classy thing to do and say. You've done your Mom proud. Sana, they take your good advice next year.

  20. Gusto ko yung banat sa dulo. Haha. Kung may delicadeza pa tong FAMAS send her a huge bouquet of flowers, an apology note and a check to reimburse their expenses. I hope someone got fired.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Indeed, keyboard or writing is louder and more effective in all aspects. Mailalabas at maipapaliwanag mo ng husto ang hinaing mo kesa sa talking here and there. To Ms Eva Darren and Son, you are heard and seen.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Ms. Eva you have done e very good job in raising a well-educated dignified and kind son. Im was really touched and got emotional on how your son defended you. That is truly the most priceless ang rewarding feeling as a mother and a person.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Kudos to their family for being gracious. Ang ganda ng statement. But bilang isa akong 90s baby and I recognize the importance and contribution of Ms Eva Darren to PH cinema, di pa ako nakakamove on sa inis ko sa Famas
I know I know sino ba naman ako. Buuuuut naiirita pa din ako.

  24. And that right there, is how it is done ladies and gentlemen.

Calling out a wrongdoing with class and grace.

  25. Ahaha the last sentences got me

  26. pls refund and add more to compensate ms eva. not that she needs it, but to show remorse. and pls do better next time, famas.

    ReplyDelete
Hahah nosebleed ata.

    ReplyDelete
  28. The damage has been done. But sana, other than the apology, FAMAS could have returned her ticket expenses (P5,000 per plate for 4 people) ... plus the expenses spent on prepping for the event. We know Ms Eva is a retiree, thus, money is gold.... returning the money spent will go a long way.
