    1. There’s nothing wrong to pray to God everytime your brain gets hey wired but at the same time pls seek help from professionals kaso not all can afford it kaya pinagpapa sa Dios nalang nila kapag may panic attack or anxiety sila. Yung mayayaman affort mag retreat ek ek.

Sa kultura natin baliw lang ang magpapakonsulta sa psychologist or psychiatrist kaya kalimitan we just dismiss mental health issues as something spiritual.

  3. Ngayon ko lang narinig yung Filipinos pray for their Mental Health to go away.

Nagpray na sana bigyan sila ng strength or reason to keep living or fight the demons na nagdodown sa kanila. They go to church and pray para maenlighten pero minsan talaga mahirap sila mareach 😟 Kaya if you are suffering with something, get help and keep praying pa din.

    5. wag mong lahatin. when adulting hits you really, all you can do is pray na maging okay yung mental health mo to have a clearer vision of what you want in life

    8. She is somehow correct. Kasi most of us, hindi talaga kasing aware sa "mental health issues" gaya ng amerika or ibang bansa. We just see things as adversities, problems etc.. coz we can't afford to seek professional help and we lack education about it. If may free man, most are not aware about it. I myself see signs of depression and since i read and wrote about mental health issues, i do self care health day, meditation, a lot of praying, me time and socialization which is parang normal lang sa atake natin sa depression. Traumatic experiences though should seek pro help.

    9. I honestly think (my pov) that every thing is a spiritual battle since I believe in God. Pero that doesn’t mean that therapy doesn’t help, even our church encourages na mag therapy if may mental health issues kasi it does help, seek professional help, but again, if you believe in God prayer is the first response kasi things are out of your control e, so you seek the One you believe na in control. That is faith working.

    10. Now lang? Baka you need to meet more people of varying backgrounds outside your circle.

Tatay ko nga sabi saken di daw ako nag dadasal kaya daw ako depressed. Meanwhile un na nga lang ginagawa ko to survive kasi it came to a point na almost di ko na kaya 🤷‍♀️

    11. PRAYING IS AKIN TO MEDITATION WHICH CAN HELP A PERSON WITH HIS MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES. SO PRAYING DOES HELP.

I do believe in the power of prayer.

    13. Honestly, I had suicidal ideation. Prayers, particularly, holy rosary healed me. Don't underestimate the powers of prayer and faith.

It’s good na may mga nag aadvocate na pero malayo pa tayo.

For example, I’ve attended this church dito sa Pinas kasi sinama ako ng titas ko and saktong topic ay mental health.

    3. 4:05 AM Besh, read ka books or listen to podcast about how to manage/hack your brain functions. Look up which part of the brain processes bad thoughts. Educate yourself so you can help yourself. Think of our brain as a machine, it can malfunction but can also be reprogrammed. You can learn tricks to combat your brain's negativity. Negativity and thinking of worse case scenario is our brain trying to anticipate bad stuff and protect us, kaso it's malfunctioning kaya nilalamon tayo ng bad thoughts instead of serving as reminders lang sana. A lot of things can cause brain malfunction/imbalance/underdevelopment like trauma, malnourishment, emotional neglect, sleeping less than 5hours daily, always letting yourself get hungry before eating, low Vit D.

    4. 4:05 Do something that will make your mind busy(productive hobby), listen to the music of your likings or watch entertaining shows. When your mind is busy thinking of the good things you want to do and achieve, negative thoughts will eventually go away

  15. Praying and meditation is a kind of old school CBT. There is research on that. So yes, Pinoys have always had a kind of therapy through faith, nothing wrong with that, especially to the faithful. Wetern psychological science is not the end all be all authority it is purported to be. We have our own remedies that have been proven over the centuries. Let's not look down on the importance of Faith to mental health. Many have found their 'treatment' through a combination of prayers and intervention.

Let's not forget na mental illness is a disease po like cancer. Kelangan ng gamot at medical assistance.

    Example: Depression, bipolar, schizophrenia

Need padin magpacheck to know na clinically depress ka ba talaga or socially anxious lang.
