I have been in the DBX airport for 4 days now becsuse there no flight available. No change of clothes and all my hotel airport transport payment in my destination already lost.
My connecting flights here in DBX were canceled 2x already and every time I stood in line 5-6 hours until dawn to rebook. I am still here at the airport after 3 days.
Bec of the flood? Gulat ako that Dubai gets flooded din. Hirap to stay a few hours at the airport, what more if 2 nights but at least Dubai airport is big and has good facilities. Nagkapaltos sya bec of her shoes? i learned, from experiencing delayed flights, is to wear more comfortably rather than fashionably dahil unreliable ang flight times esp in the phils………..
Di maayos mga drainage nila as per my friend who lives in saudi. Kaya pag naulan from out of the blue, binabaha sila. Once in a blue moon kasi umulan dun
Kahit sa Saudi pag umulan ng malakas binabaha din sila. They don't have storm drains. Pero yung ulan din kasi sa Dubai was like a year's worth of rain.
Super rare kc umuulan at ganun klakas, kumbaga waste of money of yung infra pra sa drainage, but now I’m sure the will implement na kc climate change is real.
Gsnun pala. Kawawa affected people. Climate change is so scary. Dubai was not prepared bec of the unlikely possibility of typhoon / flood… who would have thought diba? Ang gulo na ng weather sa mundo. Also, hearing news like this makes me worry for my kids’ future…….
sobrang yayaman and datingan sa socmed gamit mga mamahaling bags pero walang pang-business class or makaafford man lang ng lounge access? akala ko ba mayaman bf nito?
Sana bago kumuda magbasa muna about the flooding in Dubai. The weather there is usually hot and dry and if mag rain man, konti lang. They got a lot of rain in a day, much more than what they normally get in a year kaya nagbaha at na disrupt mga flight sa Dubai. Daming na stranded for days with limited food and water available kaya hindi sya joke. Kahit papaano maswerte si Rhian kasi may iba may kasamang babies or seniors tas wala na silang formula or nappies.
Bat di siya ng book ng hotel the following day kc 1 day night lng yung ulan -me i book kinaumagahan kc sunny na -sa oposite ng terminal 3 eh siya nasa terminal 3 me nasa terminal 2 pa -
She could've stayed at the airport hotel or the lounge. No need to make pila coz EK is pretty good at handling rebooking plus they're not understaffed.

DeleteYung ulan kasi sa amin nung Tuesday ay katumbas ng 5 months na ulan sa UK so yes our drainage system isn’t ready for that volume
