Ano ba dapat na maging special na karapatan nila that sets them apart from male and female? As long as basic human rights are respected eh okay na yan. Un tipong may due process and hearing bago ka damputin at di sinabing tinokhang ka at nanlaban lang.
I don't agree on the sogie bill kasi may mga controversial na provisions.
Pero I agree na LGBTQ couples deserves recognition at least on the legal sense. Common law partnership.
Okay naman ang divorce basta pag aralan mabuti and learn from problems encountered in divorce sa ibang bansa. Divorce kasi causes bankruptcy sa at least 1 partner (usually mga lalaki), dapat may limitation ang spousal support to avoid laziness sa partner, dapat it will not cause parental alienation.
4:15 ma recognize ng batas yung partnership nila. For example may sakit yung isa, the partner may not make decisions regarding the care and other directives.
@12:30am agreed 100%. it is unfortunate that most filipinos live in their own bigoted bubble that they cannot look beyond their own prejudices. The lgbtqia community does not want anyone’s acceptance if you’re not willing to give it, but they do demand and deserve respect and equal treatment. Labas na ang religion dito dahil hindi lahat pare pareho ng paniniwala. let them live their lives in peace and give them the right to love.
E di magbigay sya ng medical power of attorney. Hirap kasi babaguhin ang batas para lang ma-accommodate and less than 1% of the population.
True. I see this a lot sa hospital.
imagine a situation na biglaan yung partner is incapacitated and the life partner of 30 years BUT NOT accepted by the family (not necessarily bec of bigotry pwede ring financial ang real reason people's greed is unlimited) pero ginawang excuse ang pagiging lgbtqiia to more or less block the life partner from making decisions for the incapacitated partner. ganyang klase ng scenarios ang humaharao sa mga lgbtqia. cmon people do better. di ko actually alam yung sogie bill i shouldnt speak on it pero sana ibigay yung legal rights. naalala ko tuloy one of my siblings' gay friend sa north america. he is Pinoy but of a certain ethnicity na very conservative and traditional pa din. he was openly gay by the end of his life especially he was dying of cancer and nasa NA nga naman siya naman siya but because of his status very prominent very rich family, he blocked most people kasi in his fb he would openly post about his gay caucasian partner kumabaga lahat ng "bawal" he did hindi same ethnicity, tapos gay sila and openly pa. pero he died with his partner beside him ha from a cancer that took him so young 40s pa lang yata or 30s tapos ganon. may kilala ako hetero couple naman. she also had cancer the mom blocked a marriage because nga greed. so kung sa hetero ginagawa mas pa sa lgbtqia. lalo na kung sobrang mayaman. imagine the family can block the rightful tagapagmana ng isang billionaire who is the love of his life, tapos sila magmana ng pera, wouldnt they do it?
Hindi naman tlaga pinupush na ipagpilitan ikasal sa anumang church ang same sex couples, ang pinupush from the start ay civil union or kasal sa huwes para kilalanin naman sila ng batas na may karapatan sila katulad ng mga kasal na mag asawa.
100% yes.
129 very rampant issue. At kawawa yung natirang partner kasi walang karapatan tlaga. Tapos yung pamilya ng namayapa or nagkasakit eh mga feeling. Naiinis ako tlaga sa ganyan eh.
Keep on asking, keep on demanding, keep on pressuring society for your rights. How about your responsibilities to respect the positions and teachings of the church? When you keep asking you forget that you step on others and their beliefs. You want respect, then give it. It is a two way street.
I hope this happens in my lifetime. Personally, my partner and I are not after any recognition from any religious institutions, but the legal rights and benefits that come with marriage ---ownership of properties, insurance/healthcare benefits and most importantly for me, the right for my partner to make decisions for my care when I am incapacitated and make final and burial arrangements when I did.
Even Pope Francis has recognized the importance of legal protection that civil unions provide to same-sex partners
1:37pm Not everyone lives in QC or works in BPOs. Sabihin natin pwede magpa SPO pero additional step and gastos yun na otherwise pwede naman na wala if recognized ang same sex partnership under the law. Iba pa rin accessible to all.
137 halatang gusto mo lang ipagkait eh kung ikaw sabihan na may karapatan ka lang sa spouse or future spouse mo in certain cities ok na sa yo? obvious ba they dont want their rights to just be an exception but the rule. is it so hard to fathom that LGBTQIA would aspire for the same things readily given to us straight people? talangka talaga iba. ako ha, give them what is their due. wala silang sinasaktan they just want to protect themselves and their loved ones. may masama ba? hindi ba universal ang love?
I pray for the same for you. Know that even if napakadaming pakialamerong at pakialamerang Filipinos who would never want to be dictated to but dictate to you the lgbtqia, there are many like me who understand you, even if i am straight as an arrow, i am with the lgbtqia community in their struggles. that youve had to fight for these basic rights for others is a shame. i also would like divorce to happen and abortion. i feel like when divorce happens theres a bigger chance for sogie to happen. ang hirap lang sarado utak ng mga lawmakers. magtrabaho naman kayo!
alam niyo theyre not asking for anything more than what straight people already enjoy. bakit naman ayaw niyo sila bigyan ng rights. may reasons kasi yan like sa properties and sa medical emergencies. i do think maapprove muna divorce bago maapprove to given how backward our country is. although i feel never magdidivorce so never din magsogie. pero knowing how conservative siguro kung naipasa by some miracle ang divorce bill, saka lang to maipapasa. dagdag niyo an din abortion parang awa niyo na
Di ba pwede yung DNR/medical concerns sa power of attorney or even sa hospital records? Kasi ako, may pinirmahan akong document sa doctor ko, who has the right to decide for me or receive medical info about me. And yung properties diba i-acknowledge kahit nasa last will and testament….?
11:06, may medical will na puwedeng gawin early on. Meron ding living trust at last will and testament. Lahat iyan ay puwedeng gawin kahit kelan as long as adult ka na.
Try next time.
