Kasi ang daming positive and blessings to think of.

Extreme sadness ung sinasabi mo. Hindi ho iyon depression.

    3. Bakit naman hindi 8:28? Positivity and Blessings ay cure din po. Baka kasi puro nega vibes at kalungkotan ang iniisip niyo. Kaya minsan, feeling depressed na gaya mo!

    4. Educate yourself. Depression js not just a state of mind.

    5. 6:22, Same reason kaya nagkaka-Cancer or Diabetes o ano mang sakit ang mga taong "may kaya naman" — because Depression is an illness, a mental disorder which one cant possibly control (only managed, to say the least) and something that needs medical attention.

    7. Yes, depression is a medical condition that only specialists are authorized to diagnose. Being down or sad alone at a particular time means that a person is clinically depressed.

    8. 6:22 teh, not everyone can be like you. Not everyone merong strong mental health.

    9. BECAUSE these celebrities go through BULLYING from nitizens. Just because they're celebrities and their lives in public, doesn't mean we have the right to bully them. Show some grace, people!!!

Lisa Soberano is advocating mental health, and I couldn't agree more with her.

    10. I was diagnosed with major depressive disorder / anxiety disorder or panic attacks. I take no offense to what you said anon. You’ll never know how it feels unless you get to walk on someone else’s shoes.

Ok family life namin, ok ang mga anak, ok ang sweldo but still I got it bec of a trigger. I had a nightmare of a boss, yung naninigaw, namamahiya, sooobra toxic. Yet i still got depressed. Sa case ko, pag may interaction kami ng boss na yun, later on, nahihirapan na ako huminga, naiiyak ako sa nerbyos. Hindi na pala normal. Panic attack na pala yun. Hanggang sa umiiyak na lang ako lagi, nahihirapan matulog at nadala pa sa ER one time nun nagmeeting kami dahil di ako makahinga. I had to seek prof help.

So for your awareness, the worst you can say to someone is tell them na nasa isip lang yun. It’s not as easy as you think.

Stress hormone is cortisol, tumataas yun sa stressed people

And as a medical illness need gamutin. Unless otherwise, dun na nagmamanifest yun extreme depression.

    1. As someone na may mild depression, i found exercise, any kind, lifts my mood. Yun nga lang pahirapan kumuha ng motivation to start. So dapat pag sinimulan tuloy tuloy talaga. Any kind, treadmill, dance cardio, yoga.

    1. Mental illness is still taboo in the Philippines. Sometimes people are trying to tell their mental state but some people tell them that they are just being over dramatic. If someone says they are depressed or have trauma, I hope we will to them before it's too late. Not because okay silang tingnan while being open na may depression ay totoong okay lang sila.

    2. 12:50 ang issue kasi with this all saying na may "depression" or "mental illness" sila is that some people take lightly of it. Ang hilig ng mga ito magbitaw ng ganto as a joke or in a condescending say pa minsan. Kaya mahirap idistinguished kung nagsasabi sila ng totoo or para lang magpaawa or itake advantage ang iba.

  8. These celebrities should stay away from social media if they're battling depression. Unless you're in a place that you're strong enough to compartmentalize the criticisms. If not, you're just going to jeopardize your healing process. Social media is cruel.

    1. Exactly! They have a choice then choose peace. Sabi nga if you can’t take the heat then get out of the kitchen

  9. Back then, we rarely hear about people having depression. But now, there's a lot of them. You just read it everywhere. Perhaps because of the environment, social norms etc..iba na panahon ngayon. But let us be reminded that before one claims that he/she has depression, one must meet its diagnostic criteria. And the usual cause is a past trauma that one has experienced spec in their younger years. Yes, you may try ways to minimize it especially if di afford ang psychotherapy but the best treatment talaga is to seek professional help.

    1. Actually kahit autism.

    2. These days, the lifestyle is totally different from those years you speak of na konti lang ang depression. The cost of living is different, social media makes people feel vulnerable, the landscape of friendships and romantic relationships have changed. While I agree that depression requires a proper medical diagnosis, hindi rin enough ang resources in the Philippines to get checked plus ang lakas pa ng stigma against mental illness.

    3. Simple. You rarely hear before kasi walang social media. Doesnt mean na it doesnt exist.

Read the comments at bashers.
