As far as I know, Lenka is under SME label -Sony. One of the Big Four so for sure me copyright management tools sila to detect potential matches (i.e. song, lyrics, sound) bago pa pa maireport ng pinoy. These are common for labels/publisher who has a large library of content that they manage Sabi nga nya sa reply, "Yes, we have taken action", meaning they are aware of it. Mas nakakahiya ung giangawa ng kapwa pinoy who are attacking and harassing the original singer who has legal rights to the content. Using someones copyrighted work is stealing and has legal consequences which means Shaira & her label could end up paying fines and be brought to court. But I believed, her team is trying tk settle it outside court and seeking/buying the rights for using thr melody. And hopefully, it can be settled. But the way some Filipinos are responding, this could jeopardize the settlemement they are working on. We are not really helping. By attacking Lenka, this can go south.

People should really be educated about Intellectual Property. Hindi kasi ganun ka strict ang ganyang batas dito sa Pinas. Good job though for taking it down bago tuluyang mauwi sa lawsuit yan from Lenka's team.

Regardless if it is has more views or not popular or not, the issue here is that it was used without rights. Kahit me disclaimer na no copyright intended or credits to the owner, this is not enough. You have to seek permission, rights to use the song, either ung melody or kahit konting part ng lyrics. It is a copyrighted which means legally protected and copyright owner has full rights they would like their content to be used. Yes maraming views but they could end paying hefty fines and can be brought to court. Hopefully masettle na at wag na ibash ung 2 singer. Ang prob nyan, other pinoys are harassing the original singer which is not helping Shaira at all. Baka pag nainis ung management dahil sinisira ung reputation ni Lenka, umabot pa sa korte
