Mas ok nga yan pero complete ba mga interpreters nyo sa bisaya, ilocano, waray etc? Or candidates pa maghahanap ng interpreter. Naalala ko lang time ni Alaiza dati, di yata nainitindihan lahat ng judge sagot nya.
12:16 kaya napakaraming below average na pinoy dahil sa katulad mo na ok lang kung mali ang sinasabi or sinusulat. paminsan-minsan, kailangan din naman na may magtama at magtuwid ng mga maling nababasa natin para naman tumaas ang antas ng kaalaman lalo na ng mga kabataan.
I’m not sure about those things listed there pero I’m pretty sure Bisaya is a different language than Filipino/Tagalog. The dialects of Bisaya are Cebuano, Bol-anon, Cagay-an, etc..
1:16 day, ig post ng isang beauty pageant ang nininitpick mo. gusto mong itaas ang antas ng kaalaman ng mga pinoy, dun ka sa deped tumambay, baka mapakinabangan nila ang pagkaperfectionist mo
may point naman si 1118, Filipino or standardized Tagalog is our OFFICIAL LANGUAGE, the rest are dialects.
Merriam:
A dialect is sometimes viewed as a subset or ‘type’ of a particular language. It is broadly defined as “a version of a language spoken in a particular geographical area or by a particular group of people.” If the broader language is the parent, then the dialect is the child. Dialects are social or regional variations of a language that are distinguished by grammar, pronunciation, and/or vocabulary. Dialects often differ from the standardised version of the language. One example of this relationship are Cantonese and Mandarin, which are considered dialects of a broader language, Chinese.
12:09 I’m a Bisaya. Bisaya is not a regional variation of Tagalog. Not only do we use different words but our language structure, syntax, grammar, etc are different. You have misunderstood the definition. Pag dialect from the same language, ibig sabihin nun you can understand kahit may iba ibang words kayo ginagamit kasi same structure ang language nyo. Sa bisaya iba placement namin ng words.
12:09 let me give you an example of dialects if Bisaya is the language. I’m a Bol-anon Bisaya. We use “luto” to mean both the verb cook or the noun rice. However, Cebuano Bisaya like my husband only use it as the verb cook. Or how Bol-anons use the word “jamo” and it has no equivalent word in Bisaya. Madaming variations ng Bisaya. Bisaya is spoken hanggang Mindanao. I’m just more familiar sa Cebuano and Bol-anon. Just like Tagalog has a lot variations. Pero Bisaya is not a variation of Tagalog.
Okay lang din naman. Honestly, I find it unfair na mga Latinas use interpreters when they actually speak English sa mga interviews. Pag may interpreter kasi of course di naman nila sasabihin yung mga fillers na ginamit so the interpreters make the answers better. Tapos mga asians do their best makasagot ng english
No, dapat talaga English since lalaban internationally and yun ang mas common na maintindihan ng maraming tao sa mundo lalo ngayon napapanuod na sa social media, they have a wider audience. If they can't speak proper English, then that would be points against them.
12:09 if it should just be English then other nations should speak just English. Pero diba may interpreters naman sila. At medyo unfair to use an iterpreter during Q&As kase they eill have time to reflect and think of a better answer
Eh bakit mga Latina winners ses di naman lahat English kung sumagot. Tsaka sabi nga ni Janine Tugunon, “For me Miss Universe is not about being able to speak a particular language, it’s about being able to influence and inspire other people. No matter what language you have as long as you have the heart you can inspire other people.”
Dapat kse isa ito sa pre-requisite ng MU to speak English and bawal interpreter. Yung mga latina nakikita mo nage English sa interview pero pag Q&A naka interpreter na mga bruha.
At a very young age, people were taught to speak in English. Tapos pagtungtong ng elementary, itinuro ang grammar rules at sentence construction in English. Textbooks of major subjects are also English-based. Kaya huwag mong sisihin kung karamihan ay maalam sa grammar. Depende na lang kung paano itama yung mali mo, at kung paano mo ito tatanggapin.
Penoys will try and die speaking English :D :D :D Punta ka sa mga matapobreng mall, karamihan sa mga bata doon inglisero at inglesera :) :) :) Mabuhay ;) ;) ;)
Speaking clear English is one of the things that make Filipina candidates stand out since they are not that gifted in looks next to caucasians. Without that, they won’t make it in the top 20. The winner isn’t the most beautiful it’s who can be the best spokesperson for the organisation. Read the criteria. Being good in traditional pageantry will get you in the top 5 the most but if you can’t show that you will be a good rep, you will not be chosen as the winner.
This is good idea actually...

ReplyDeleteHow I wish magstick ang MU sa criteria na dapat single at babae lang ang pwedeng magjoin. Please lang wag ng haluan ng mga trans and married.
