Kung noon ang problema ng mga baguhan sa Hollywood, makkaagawa ka ng film kesyo indie film o well budgeted, magugulat ka na lang, hindi maipapalabas sa sinehan kasi walng big studio na gustong magdistribute. Ang ending diretso dvd. Ngayon with streaming, kahit paano may bigger reach sa public ang finished film. Ang kaso, halimbawa sa isang streaming site na netflix, sa daming content from different countries on a single platform, ang hirap magstand-out kaya dapat magaling PR at marketing ng producers, otherwise, it will be another wasted small film. Ganyan ang kalakaran. Kaya swerte ka kapag may connection ka sa malalaking studios at execs. Maraming producers/directors ngayon ang basura ang output pero dahil sa connections, may work at publicity sila.
Laban lang. Baby steps sabi ko nga. May ibubuga si Lovi. Audition lang ng audition at payabungin ang acting portfolio. Showbiz is a business of connections. Kahit magaling ka dapat marami kang kakilala to fund your dreams. Laban! Good start itey. 👏
