12:21 I'm actually surprised hindi pa ito nangyayari lol. Ito yung implications na una kong naisip nung sinabi na pwede na mga married at wala nang age limit...na madaming sasali na nagcompete na dati and almost made it but aged out or nagasawa na.
Beau Con is now a thing of the past. No to body shaming na viral statistics nga ang labanan talaga dati pa. Hahahaha!
3:32 Beks, beauty pageants to their core are a farce, so at the end of the day, they have to pick people who are marketable. Kung authentic ang beauty pageants they would measure the most proportional and symmetrical and call it a day, but may mga over the top national costumes, talent, at Q and A pa. It's getting harder and harder to find someone who can hold up a brand in this day and age if they are not inclusive. The bekis are moving on from pageants to drag race, etc. People from 1st world countries see pageants as backwards and shallow. There are tons of cosmetically enhanced influencers when you scroll thrpugh IG. They have to overhaul the system if they don't want to be irrelevant. Besides, most likely ang mananalo with the new set of standards ay most likely a hot 30 something.
Depende. Almost lahat ng pageant girlies aren't really taken seriously. I'm sure majority of people here don't perceive Pia as a serious author/actress. No one takes Catriona's singing career seriously kahit graduate pa siya ng Berklee. Forget about K, M, C, and everyone else. People look up to them, but ang hirap umalis sa mold na yun. The only reason why Wynwyn and Megan have thriving acting careers is because they were actors before they joined pageantry, and hindi din kasing sikat ng MU yung ibang pageants.
Yup!
Lokohan nalang. Meron namang pageants for female senior citizens. Sana pala tinawag nalang na Miss People of All Ages kasi pati gender hindi mo na alam kung totong babae or hindi ang sasali. Ginawang katatawanan.
Thats fine. Not her loss anyway. MU is a sinking ship.
ReplyDeletebuntis! cheretttt

DeleteNgeee.
Its a joke.
