Sana may susunod pa. Or should I say, for sure masusundan pa ito ng marami pang movies. I'm a big fan of Liza, Lizquen rather kaya sobrang proud ako for her.
Lol. Aminin na kasi na Liza did so well she was able to catch the critics’ attention.
To be honest hindi maganda yung review and feedback ng movie overall. Not bad but so so lang daw. Si Liza talaga nagpa spiced up ng movie. She’s something different and fresh!
11:50 what???! Anything lower than a 70% on Rotten Tomatoes is considered a bad movie.
This movie is currently at 50% on Rotten Tomatoes and 51% on Metacritic. That's a terrible grade. That means the critics didn't like it and it is getting panned.
Liza being the highlight of the movie should hopefully help her get more roles but the movie itself will not create a lot of positive buzz.
Di ba Anon 6:30? Support lang lagi for filipino talents. This will open more doors for filipinos in Hollywood. Dolly then her.
I wanna watch it, just to see Filipino represented in Western movies. It really makes you feel something inside. We grew up rarely seeing our kind in international movies.
What a fairytale of a hollywood debut! Super giddy siguro ni Liza. The success must’ve felt 100 times sweeter after the backlash get got from speaking her mind
Naririnig mo yung slang, kaya sometimes she gets flack for it. unlike ngayon first language niya yan kaya mas comfortable siya.
Well deserved after all the hard work and doubts from people. Sana magbunga ng sunod sunod na projects for her. I hope she gets a good agent.
Dasurv mo yan Liza girl! You really got out of your comfort zone and that paid off. Daming pambabatikos nakuha mo sa lahat, but you stood your ground. Good job!
She was asked, she just became honest with her answers. Di naman reklamo sinabi nya, she just told her experience. You have to speak up din if you think nahihirapan ka na or may mali sa system. Tingnan mo nga, other cultures don’t mind kasi it’s her truth.
At least na expose yung toxic work culture natin. Although better lanh tayo sa work culture ng Korea pero there’s still a lot of areas na need improvement.
5:00 Hindi siya nagrereklamo, she was sharing her experience and the impact to her mental health nung mga hindi magandang experience for her. Hina mo umintindi.
Zelda Williams and Diablo Cody nagustuhan sya… and yung mga nag bully sakanya noon. Bilog ang mundo. Don’t bully or bash someone for speaking her mind/ her experiences.
5AM - sorry to burst your bubbles, I am not part of your "everyone would be happy", trust me I have been happier for her since she quit on loveteams era. She's brutally honest and I loved that about her. Be happy for someone who achieved their dreams. Your bitterness needs to go somewhere.
May utak at may guts si liza to talk about issue na ayaw itackle to improve on things
Go, Liza. Hope you get more projects in the US. I think she is really more at home there.
I saw the trailer. I wasnt impressed. I get the horror comedy genre but it’s not something I would go out of the house and pay for to watch. Even if someone else pays for the movie tickets I would rather watch something else or go shopping.
546 ok gurl. Kailangang mo talagang magmaasim dito. Hahahaha
I think Liza found her spot in Hollywood. I have a feeling na weak points nya yung expressing her lines in tagalog kaya ang tingin ng Filipino viewers sa kanya is “bano” umarte. But since English is her native language which she was very comfortable with, voila! She delivered exceptionally. She’s a natural! Hopefully, she’ll make a name internationally!
I watched the entire series of forevermore, her breakthrough series… Hindi sya bano umarte… ang galing nya talaga…tumatak yung role nya doon…I think what happens next is because of LT.. sa dolce amore rin okay naman… kaso kung paulit ulit yung kapartner or co-actor mo, wala talagang diversity and growth. I think that’s what happened to her.
Reminds me of Bea's lie detector test with Liza. Bea asked the controversial question and Hope /Liza gave straight forwards answers w/o blinking. Go Liza.
Surreal for liza
ReplyDeleteSana may susunod pa. Or should I say, for sure masusundan pa ito ng marami pang movies. I'm a big fan of Liza, Lizquen rather kaya sobrang proud ako for her. Delete7:16 she said she has an upcoming movie and then may mga photo shoots din.
DeleteCongrats liza. Nakaka proud
DeleteThey're prepping her up because they want the movie to make big in the Philippines. They know this is a big crap in the US.
Delete11:02 pake nila sa Ph market. Pa importante teh? Lol. Aminin na kasi na Liza did so well she was able to catch the critics’ attention. Dun ka sa sulok magpaka bitter
DeleteNaks!
ReplyDeleteMore like a PR overkill.
DeleteProud of you, Liza!!! Sana magpatuloy pa ang success mo abroad. You deserve happiness and to see your dreams come to fruition!
ReplyDeleteSeems like someone’s building up Liza sa Hollywood. Which is good for her!
ReplyDeleteTo be honest hindi maganda yung review and feedback ng movie overall. Not bad but so so lang daw. Si Liza talaga nagpa spiced up ng movie. She’s something different and fresh!
ReplyDeleteIt got 53% critic reviews on rotten tomatoes which is good for a comedy/horror movie. Not sure about audience though hopefully hindi mababa.
DeleteLocally nagustuhan siya ng critics natin. Ok feedback ni philbert dy sa movie
DeleteTry harder sa pambash
Delete11:50 what???! Anything lower than a 70% on Rotten Tomatoes is considered a bad movie.

I will watch this movie just for Liza 👏
ReplyDeleteMe too
DeleteDi ba Anon 6:30? Support lang lagi for filipino talents. This will open more doors for filipinos in Hollywood. Dolly then her.
DeleteSoooo sooo happy for you. Keep it up. Watching this for the love of Liza
ReplyDeleteCongratz Liza!
ReplyDeleteBongga ka day!!!
ReplyDeleteAndami ko pang nakita sa twitter aside from that. More than 20 articles yata. Grabe lang. OA kung iisipin pero totoo grabeeee. Kaka proud
ReplyDeleteI wanna watch it, just to see Filipino represented in Western movies. It really makes you feel something inside. We grew up rarely seeing our kind in international movies.
ReplyDeleteI hope her management gets tons of emails now para kunin siya sa iba pang movies
ReplyDeleteDiff publications wow congratulations Liza
ReplyDeleteBrava Hope a.k.a. Liza!
ReplyDeleteAfter all what you’ve gone thru bashings etc happy for you Liza
ReplyDeleteGlowing review from international film critics Wow !!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fairytale of a hollywood debut! Super giddy siguro ni Liza. The success must’ve felt 100 times sweeter after the backlash get got from speaking her mind
ReplyDeleteCongrats Liza! You are a gem.
ReplyDeleteGlad she’s found her niche in Hollywood
ReplyDeleteNa excite tuloy ako mag watch neto. Perfect sa movie date namin ni Afam.. let's see
ReplyDeleteLos Angeles Times also called her a breakout star!
ReplyDeleteIn other words Liza stole the show! Good for her!
ReplyDeleteGood for her! More bash more blessings talaga.
ReplyDeleteOk yan pag gusto ka ng critics magkaka offer sya lalo, her next project should be really good para tuloy tuloy to bigger projects
ReplyDeleteMeh. She doesn't have to go that route
Deletenice!
ReplyDeleteGanito rin nangyari kay dolly de Leon grabe ang positive reviews sa kanya aa triangle of sadness then sunod sunod na wow go liza!
ReplyDeleteCutie pie! -Dolly
DeleteWala naman kinaiba yon project nya dito sa pinas vs US, both pang teen flick, yon nga lang mas magaganda production doon at level up ang co-stars nya.

Delete12:58 teen flick daw , not necessarily horror comedy. Kaloka 🙄
Delete11:40 ang genre ay horror comedy
DeleteSi happy and proud of Lisa - Hope 👏👏👏

DeleteShe had no complaints she was just narrating her experiences
DeleteAs she should. E sa meron things to complain about. Gusto mo bland and walang backbone mga artists?
DeleteAt least na expose yung toxic work culture natin. Although better lanh tayo sa work culture ng Korea pero there’s still a lot of areas na need improvement.

DeleteMay bitter bashers pa rin ganoon talaga walang pumipilit sayo .. it’s your choice just be happy whatever you want to do don’t spread bitterness!
DeleteJust go shopping have a halohalo para kumalma ka at gumanda Pananaw mo sa buhay!
DeleteNaks. Noted madam. Go shop now.
Hahahaha
DeleteIba iba taste ng tao sa movies so you do you.
DeleteFeel na feel ko ang bitterness through my screen. hahaha
DeletePinoy baiting. Sorry.
ReplyDeleteI don't think Pinoy baiting ang Vanity Fair, Washington Post and LA Times.
Huy!!!
DeleteHuge publications don't need to pinoy bait. Mag-isip ka nga.
DeleteThese publications don’t need to go that route my dear
DeleteLuh feeling
DeleteOhhh i may watch this

ReplyDeleteSi liza nga napapahamak din minsan for being too honest eh
DeleteNot a fan but I'm happy for her. Sana she'll get more projects
ReplyDeleteOh wow!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing! Sana mag tuloy tuloy for Hope
