  1. Sana magtagumpay si Liza sa Hollywood. I admit nung una medj naoff ako sa kanya because sa mga hirit niya about her life in Phil. showbiz. Naiinis ako sa kanya that time. So happy for her.

    1. Same! I’m a fan of her since forevermore tapos nainis din ako sa knya ng saglit nong may pa upload2x sya sa YT but nong nag explore na sya at people are bashing her, bumalik loob ko sa knya. Naaawa ako sa knya that people are invalidating her efforts kaya na active ulit to defend her. Chosss!

  2. Nice words from Direk Zelda. Also, Diablo Cody said the same about Liza. Happy for her🥰

    1. Girl, in hollywood- or any production set up outside the PH hindi tinatawag na direk ang director haha dito lang yan satin

      Delete
Don't make it a big deal Dear.

      Delete
    3. 12.40 thanks for the info but big deal ba un kung tawag dito is direk eh nasa Pilipinas nmn tayo may mga kanya kanya tayo gamit na salita na iba din sa ibang bansa. Just dont make a big deal on that.

    4. Ang OA ni 12:40 nakakaloka. Hahaha

  3. Ang pretty niya sa Hollywood. Lutang na lutang yung Asian features niya

  4. Kadiri yung mga Pinoy laging ang tanong how is liza? She was personally chosen, etc. Sobrang pilit na pilit ihype

    1. Mas kadiri yang hatred mo kay Liza. Magbago ka na

      Delete
    2. Bakit 12:10 ano bang dapat at taman na itanong?

      Delete
    3. Malamang kasi pinoy din si liza 🙄

      Delete
    4. Half Pinoy din si Zelda Williams

      Delete
So odd.

Kapag iba ang styling, nagmumukha sayang ordinary and baduy. She's already peaked in her looks, nung teenager/early 20s sya pinaka-maganda. Nowadays she looks very plain and walang charisma.

    2. The role calls for it. And that’s Hollywood. Kalerks!

      Delete
    3. 1:28 that is a reach lol it's simply because the girlie is half asian so when you compare her to full caucasians nadodownplay ang features niya.

      Delete
    4. It's context. Just as a lot of mestizas are considered standouts in the Philippines, but are super ordinary in western countries.

      Delete
    5. On the contraire! Anyways, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. And for a lot of beholders’ eyes, she’s one of the true authentic gorgeous beauties out there, both locally and internationally

      Delete
    6. Half sister po ang role niya sa movie that's why she doesn't have to look American

      Delete
Ikaw plain hatred at walang maganda masabi.

      Delete
Ahahaha. Standout nga siya sa trailer na yan because of her tan and asian features.

      Delete
    9. Oh my gosh 1:28 i beg to disagree with you. With or without makeup po, lutang na lutang ang ganda ni Liza. Walang retoke or whatsoever. Kaloka ka!

      Delete
  6. Liza looks like Ms. Tessie Tomas (as Madam Imelda) in that picture.

Iba itsura galing ng production at make up nila.

Ganun kalakas hatak ni Liza mark my words. Mag 20m ba naman followers

Fishing for compliments and validations palagi tapos ibabalita nila.

Lets just hope for the best

      Delete
    3. Oh please, STOP overestimating Filipino fans! Kahit kumita pa yan sa Pinas alone hindi yan makaka-break even.

      Delete

      Delete
    6. 9:47 I checked and wala pa namang review for this movie sa RT.

      Delete
    7. I agree. I really wonder if it's being talked about in the US or here lang sa Pinas because of Liza. Then again, the movie is a February drop. The more important films are being released in summer and fall.

      Delete

Now, if you have proof na the movie is creating a bigger buzz in the US, yun na lang sana ang nilagay mong content ng comment mo. Mas useful info yun.

      Delete
    10. 5:28 sabi mo kasi sa first sentence mo “I agree”. na ano, kumakapit sa pinoy fans ni Liza? ganyan na ba kababa din tingin mo sa mga Pinoy fans, gagatasan ngb foreigner pag di kumita sa malalaking bansa? tsaka Zelda was interviewed so she just answered. it’s also obvious na hindi mo rin pinanood yung interview so na-miss mo yung part when Zelda explained her roots.

      Delete
    11. 9:01 Oops sorry, I forgot to include that the "I agree" part was for 5:09's comment. Ayan claro na? Also, I am aware of Zelda's roots. Yung buzz lang about the movie is mainly what I was questioning. I didn't mention anything about the bigger countries milking the local market so please, don't put words in my mouth. Anyway, you can always get back to me if the movie would be an international success ... or sige maski sa US na lang.

      Delete
    12. 12:42 reply-an mo rin ako ah… the movie is being talked about highly sa US esp mga teens and those who were born in the 80s and early 90s. Tapos may hatak yung name na Lisa Frankenstein because it’s reminiscent of the Lisa Frank merch… aaaahhh naalala ko tuloy trapper keeper ko noong asa HS ako. That was 1999. Walang connect yung movie sa Lisa Frank brand but having the same first name and may ‘Frank’ din sa surname makes its nostalgic for those born in the 80s

  8. That's not a good pic of her. The styling doesn't fit her, makes her look much older.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. She really look old and not just in that photo or styling.

      Delete
    2. Oh my! Make up at styling yan to portray a character! Not for her to “look good!”
Dito lang sa pinas na portraying a hampaslupa pero todo makeup at ganda ng damit,to “look good” pa rin kahit di na authentic sa character at sa story!
Fyi lang po, the story is set in the 80’s, kaya ganyan mga hairdo at style ng pananamit pati na rin makeup

      Delete
    3. pilit na pilit itong comment na ito

      Delete
    4. Yun yung character at peg ng production.

      Delete
    5. Because the movie was set in the 80s.

      Delete
    6. It’s the 80s.
Everybody looked older than their real age because of the makeup and clothes back then 🤷🏻‍♂️

      Delete
    7. Lies! What do you mean everyone looked older in the 80's? LOL! Brooke SHields and Phoebe Cates looked young and fresh back then. Why don't you just accept that Liza has always been mature looking? Even the korean reactors say she look older than her age.

      Delete
    8. 1980's ang setting ng Movie. The hairstyles are big that time, with all the hairspray & hair products. Clothes in the 80's were also big with shoulder pads & layered clothing. Maybe they did her make up a little darker because she doesn't have to look American because she's playing the half sisiter of Kathryn Newton.
