i understand Janice...pagdating sa relationship. kasi i also chose to remain single after i separated from my husband. i realized i am happier being free... na ang mga anak lang ang pinoproblema. kasi i believe na hindi dapat hinahanap ang lovelife... ang right one...kapag hinanap mo at pinilit mo, hindi yun yung right one. the right one will come, it will be given to you kung talagang para sa iyo. kung wala e di ok. i love my freedom, i can do and i can go anywhere i want na wala akong iintindihin. my kids are all grown up now. may mga sariling buhay na. and sila naman ngayon ang nagwoworry at nag aalaga sa akin. not that i needed to be kasi hindi pa naman ako ganon ka needy. i go out with friends, i travel...sarap ng feeling.
Same tayo! I’m 32, a solo parent of one, and single for almost 10 yrs now. May time na naramdaman ko lonely ako lalo na isa-isa nang kinakasal mga friends ko. Pero pag may dumadating na potential partner parang dun ko naiisip na ayoko pala. Sa ngayon, I love my life with my daughter and our dogs. I love the freedom that comes with it. Also, I do not have to take care of another person. Hehe! Opinion ko lang naman ‘to but I am happy for those who have found the love of their lives.
Totally agree with you ladies! Also a single mom and after a long, challenging marriage, it's wonderful to be able to also prioritize myself again. I don't believe that everyone needs romance or a romantic companionship in life. I don't have the energy or emotional bandwidth to bother.
I have 2 sisters and they're my best friends. Sisters grow closer talaga as you age... Ganyan rin kami ng mga ate ko lalo na halos magkakasunod lang kami ng edad.
For those who discredits siblings getting involved with their siblings when it deals with issues such as infidelity, abuse and serious matters this goes to show you that as a family as siblings we often have to step in, be the stronger force. What one would do to protect a loved one. This mindset many people have of why does she get involve in matters not pertaining to her is the easy escape goat narrative. I love how Gelli found the way so that Janice can eventually see the truth .
Gelli’s mindset is so narrow-minded. Janice feels happy and fulfilled being alone. Full stop. Why does Gelli insist that her sister needs a partner or to fall in love to complete her life?! Mind your own business and leave others to their own personal life choices.
The difference is Gelli is an extrovert, she thrives in her companionships and relationships. Janice is an introvert who thrives solo. I don't think it's narrow minded, it's just that Gelli found her happiness with someone and she wants the same for her sister. Would you call Janice narrow minded din for insisting that a one doesn't need a partner to be complete?

I don’t like how they tried to talk about Janice’s choices so much. I feel like Karen and Gelli overstepped. Kasi if Janice says “no I am okay”, I would have stopped it right there. They didn’t even realize na what if may trauma si Janice so she doesn’t want to be in the same place again? Parang too nosy ang approach sa conversation. I don’t know if it’s just me who feels this way. I can imagine if I go through the same interview with my friends, and if I tell them “I just don’t feel like dating anyone and that’s not my priority anymore”, they wouldn’t go force me na “sige try mo mag-date ka lang” 😂 Anyway, it was an interesting interview. I hope Janice and Gelli’s relationship would get better over the years pa 😊
