Our mom na widow na lives in the house next door with my single sister. We are an extended family. We might not spend time everyday kasi busy but every week we have a family lunch kada Sunday. Everyone shows filial piety sa elderly and the adults all share in looking after and loving the kids. We also regularly visit the family tomb to clean it and oray for our elders nd family who passed ba. May 'family leader' na patriarch - my lolo. He guides us. We all make mistakes pero we are stronger together. My yaya mga bata may caregiver si lola dahil sa sakit. Peronlahat kami tulong tulong. Pati sisters ko na OFws digital ang pag join sa aunday lunch. Its the mark of a Filipino family na extended ang generational carechains. It is a form of social welfare.
Is it because nabuhayan ulit ng career si Chard after the success of Iron Heart kaya nagkaproblem ang relationship nila ni Sarah? Kasi for the longest time nawalan siya ng kinang simula ng maging sila ni Sarah. I still wish na maayos pa sila. Kahit di nila ako Fan, sad pa rin na makitang may family na nasira.
I always believe there is hope in reconciliation. You dont just throw away those years. Pero importante walang nagsusulsol. I think parents of both sides should stay away and let the couple deal with this. Dont add fuel to the fire. Sino bang ayaw ng complete family for their kids. The couple should just take a time off, give themselves a chance, go on a trip and dont mind what their family will say. Just give themselves a chance to be in a different environment alone.
If both of you lost respect and trust di na yan maibabalik. You tried to fix it because of the children but it's not gonna be the same. Been there done that, might as well na maghiwalay na lang and try to be a good parent to your kids na lang.
