11:45 Walang choice ang mga Pinoy during the MMFF but to watch local films and it was the holiday season! But I feel like the masses are just progressively getting better at picking out which movies are actually worth their time and money ... 99% are Foreign Hollywood films! Also, no reason going to the movie theater when you could just subscribe to a movie app and watch from your phone! LOL
Parang floftsina nga. Kasi Yung Roadtrip nina Gelli, Janice, Carmina at Candy palabas pa rin nauna yun. Sumunod yan sa line up tapos ngayon palabas na yung Pepe-Toni and by next week naman Aga-Julia. Lahat yan Viva Films.
ALL the Pinoy movies after the festival were flops! The Philippine movie industry is dead! It has become so expensive to take a family to the movies that it is becoming (at least for majority of Filipinos) more of a 'once in every great while' kind of event, as opposed to going weekly or twice a month!
so true ..during the MMFF have watched 5 movies .. indi ka mag 2x isip since magaganda naman ang choices and to think ang mahal. kung baga feeling fiesta that time, feeling mapera ...but now you will think twice before spending again.. dapat sulit talaga.
To be fair, Janno's movie is good and entertaining. The problem is it's crazy how movie theaters are becoming almost obsolete and they are charging more for tickets to try and offset the loss but that only deters the masses more from attending. There are several contributing factors like most Filipino movies getting worse and lazy, streaming becoming dominant and increased prices, to create almost a perfect storm of more and more Pinoys staying home and watching movies!
It’s a prank nga daw! In his dreams daw na highest grossing. Meaning hindi kumita. Nag thank you lng s mga nanood dahil 1st directing career nya. Reading comprehension ohh mga tita.
Its a flop
ReplyDeleteNakamagkano ang movie nya? I don’t expect na malaki, pero decent amount ba?
ReplyDeleteAfter ng MMFF puro nilangaw uli karamihan ng movies
DeleteWalang nakaka alam, pero walang nilabas na gross so flop yan kasi pag kumita yan first day earnings pa lang ilalabas na nila
