    1. This is sad. So ano na ang aasahan? Gone are the real and professionally researched and delivered news channels hello proliferation of fake news and black propaganda for selfish political reasons. Tsk tsk tsk. The government should actually buy CNN Philippines and adopt it as its own media channel. Pero walang pakialamanan sa news. To prevent fake news proliferation

    2. Hope they go online like ABS-CBN. But parang wala naman silang huge followings. So sad.

    1. I'm in my 30s. Member ako ng isang WhatsApp group. Medyo naiirita ako coz may isang girl dun in her early 20s.. she'd post Tiktok clips as news. I understand na she's younger and she's probably on socmed all the time. Sana lang she'd get her news from proper reliable news channels/sources.

  8. Wala naman kasi nanonood. Kahit kami nga may cable subs pero dami ng news channels the least we watch is cnn. Boring mga shows nila at di pangmasa. Di pa up to date ang news. Like one time about the earhtquake pero ang finefeature nila ay sports and stocks

    1. English ba madalas ang gamit nila when reporting

    3. News channel kasi ang CNN kaya ganun talaga serious programs.

Niche market

    6. Panong pangmasa ba ang sinasabi mo? Ung laging may showbiz portion? Ung laging exagerated ang news and pagbabalita? Tabloid type of news??

One of the channels i really missed when i stopped my subscription sa sky was cnn international

    ReplyDelete

    1. Kainis no pag partisan ang isang news channel or kahit ang estasyon.

They weren't able to capture the hearts of the masses because of their elitist features.

In fairness, they're really targetting a specific niche of viewers --- businessmen, foreigners, expats, etc.

    2. 12:14 Bloomberg does it better. CNN should stick to politics mas may weight sila dun

      Delete
    3. It's news and not supposed to "capture the heats of the masses". πŸ™„

    4. 3:18 Hindi puro news lang ang CNN Phillipines meron din silang lifestyle shows at talk shows lalo na dati.

  16. How can they allow such losses grabedad

  17. Kawawa naman sila.

  18. O/L platforms will kill TV viewing almost completely. The primetime ratings says it all.

It's because of internet. Nasa 20's pa naman yata ang ratings prior to abscbn shutdown. Ngayon 12 yata pinaka mataas sa primetime.
Not sure about advertisements side kung pano sila mag place online

Personally, I no longer watch news kasi nakakainit ng ulo.
