They are supposed to guide the new couple throughout their married life, give them advice whenever needed, be supportive, just like biological parents would. In this case, the couple must have entrusted the godparent to deliver this news to save both of them from judgments and questions. Considering the Filipino culture of tsismis, kung sinuman ang magsalita sa kanila ay tiyak puputaktihin ng tao. Kung yung lalaki ang magsalita, sasabihin siguro siya may kasalanan o bakit siya ang nagsalita kalalaking tao. Same goes kung yung babae ang maga-announce.

Kim only reconnected with him kasi she decided to stay and work in PH. They have nothing in common. They probably just made it work because Echo is physically attracted to Kim, and Kim found a home in Echo while living in a foreign place.

ReplyDeleteMy husband and I used to live in one roof kahit separated na. We do normal family activities, dine out, pasyal with our son, go to family events toogether like a normal couple. No one knew that we are no longer "together" except for our family and a very few people.

DeleteMaybe that's the set up that works for them even before. I had the feeling na Echo didn't want anymore kids and Kim didn't want either. If anything they were more partners than just your typical husband and wife and clearly it works for them even after being separated. If that was me, I'd rather pick that type of relationship and separation where it's quiet and amicable. Unlike someone like Pokwang or Lee where it's a hot mess.

One of my fave couple sina kim and echo dahil quiet and keeping things private. Hndi nila ginagamit for clout ang relationship nila. Until the bitter end, they still keep it private, no drama/clout, and being civil or friends with each other. Sad but happy for them.

They were praised because it's a rarity for celebrities to not post or announce this kind of news in social media.
