I really find Ms. Vilma Santos very nice and kind. Parang hindi sya isang super star at accomplished politician kasi super down to earth nya (kasi aminin, yung iba pa-diva talaga).
Kaya nag mana si Luis sa kanya very humble. Magaling at ma respeto sa mga ordinaryong tao. Weird at corny lng iyang si Luis tlaga pero as a person, mabuti syang tao.
she was overwhelmed because at her age, she probably acknowledged that the world doesn't revolve around her nor her fame anymore. she was pleasantly surprised that she's still the best actress. can't say the same for other "stars"
Naloka din ako na grabe yung pukpukan ng mga artista this year. Naantig din ako sa news kanina yung clip nya ng acceptance speech. Imagine Vilma ka na, pero still that raw reaction and cut to Sharon cheering and then Eugene taking a vid, teary-eyed? Nakakaloka!
i met ate vi twice, when she was in her twenties. once outside her house in dasma, once at a movie theater. always accommodating. so very nice and walang ere. and magaling pang artista.
Pinanood ng sister kasama ang mga friends niya dahil nagandahan siya sa nakita niya sa trailer at di daw siya nagkamali dahil sulit ang ibinayad panoorin ang WIMYIT. Tanong niya kung naging sila Vilma at Boyet, bakit daw napaka natural at comfortable sila sa isat isa parang di daw umaarte.
Ang dami kasi nilang naging pelikula kaya naging comfortable na sila. Aside from Christopher, si Edgar Mortiz ang ka love team nya dati (this was Nora/Tirso vs Vilma/Bobot era).
