The fact that none in the family have spoken out or made a statement, says a lot. That’s how we know there’s just no words and that it truly hit them hard. Nothing prepare you for this untimely death. When I first heard of his passing, I was in utter shock and disbelief. His death feels so different, so surreal. Mr Ronaldo Valdez was one of the few talented and truly charismatic actors left in local showbusiness. My deepest condolences to the Gibbs and Loyzaga family on their loss.

So sad 😩 we lost another one of our great actors. he can play any role mapa kontrabida or mabait na tatay, mapacomedy, action and drama. he is very versatile and he is part of the old generation of actors who dont dwell on intrigues, keeps family matter private and do not sell his children for fame. Everytime may namamaalam sa mga veteran stars sa atin, I'm saddened not just by their passing but also by how the current generation know so little about their body of work and contribution sa industry. Hindi uso sa atin yung may film retrospective. Not even about film history. Not much have been done about preserving yung mga old films natin. It also make me sad na dadating ang araw bala yungnlikes nina Dolphy at Leopoldo Salcedo, di na maaalala or even mga pelikula nila, di na mapanood.
