  1. I can read Katakana and Hiragana pero pano pag gamit ng "dash" na yan? Self study lang po ako ha. Sa may alam lang, pa share pls.

    1. When you pronounce the vowel with stress, usually you put the dash. In case sa Sabina, the stress is at the 2nd syllable. So pronounced as “サ (sa)-ビー (BEE)- ナ (na)”

    2. Daming pakelemera sa mundo. Balat nyo? Katawan nyo?

    3. Japanese here. Dash is used for longer pronunciation especially for vowel sounds. So ノア sounds like nowa with a dash ノアー it sounds like noh-waa (Noah).

Sadly the comments are true. I see some mistakes in Claudine's katakana tattoos.

Santino should be サンティノ the one she had is read like San-te-ee-no.

Quia should be キーヤー what she had sounds like keh-ya

And Sabina should be サピーナ what she had sounds like Sabi-na instead of Sa-bee-na.

Oh well what can we do 🤦‍♀️

    4. Pagbinasa yung may dash pahaba ang bigkas. Parang pabigkas ng Sabiiiiina

    5. It’s the thought that counts naman daw. Mas masakit ata kapag binura o inulit pa to correct. She must have consulted a Japanese person naman o sa google translate lang?

    6. Yung ー is for when you need to elongatate the sound or if may “r” sound. They should have been:

      サンティノ
      サビーナ
      キーヤ
      ノア

    2. 12:51 I dont think pagtatawanan sya ng mga Hapon. Usually Pinoys ang ganyan (in this case, Pinoys na marunong mag Hapon).

    3. 12:51 Japanese aren’t like that.Hindi sila katulad mo at ng karamihan sa Pinoy na rude.

  11. Kaya wag mag appropriate pag di naman alam yung tinatatoo sa balat. Classify this under tatoo fails.

    9. Personally i’d choose ゾーウィ because it sounds closest to zo-wii. Ung ゾーイ parang Zo-e (letter e)

  17. Yung mga artista pag magpapa-tattoo dapat mag mock up muna at ipost muna sa socmed to fact check. LOL

  20. Nakakatawa yung isang poster dito pag si Clawclaw ang issue. Mega defend talaga siya. Kilala niyo na yun.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Kung di niya pinost eh di sana walang nakaalam at nangialam. Tattoo lang kasi kala mo accomplishment na sa buhay para i-public post pa.

    ReplyDelete
  22. 3:01 ig nya yan at artista cya

    ReplyDelete

    1. And so? Ano namang mapapala natin kung makita ang tattoo?

      Delete
    2. Mga accomplishments lang ba ang pwede post sa IG? Ang bitter mo. Ako at mga kaibigan ko, pinopost namin mga tattoo namin. At may mga times pa na naf-feature ng mga artists ang mga tattoo namin sa kanilang portfolios ang official pages. We post simply because we are happy. Di tulad mo na need pa may mapatunayan.

  23. Bakit kailangang sa ibang lenggwahe pa kasi kung pwede namang yung natural spelling na lang.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Wrong sila kahit pa sabihin nilang marunong sila ng Japanese. When it is a personal "name", sa katakana just like us when we use romaji we can put h to a name na kahit hindi naman need or we make double letters lahit naman hindi need. Same rin sa katakana you can use a dash or no small i or big i. Unless known person at mismong japanese, a foreigner can decide.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Kung mismong japanese they won’t use katakana, they’d use kanji or hiragana.

Yung small i at big i ibang iba ang effect nun so if you say choice nilA gawing big i, ibig sabihin gusto nila gawing san-te-i-no or santeyno. Pag small, hindi mo babasahing “te+i” un kundi “ti” since wala silang ti na single character. They have ta/chi/tsu/te/to. So if need ng ti sound, they use te plus small i to have ti(tea)
