    2. The very reason why I’m not following her. She’s a professing christian and yet wala kang makikita sa IG nya kundi ang mag workout๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

    3. 10:34 Okay, ano connection sa professing christian and workout? Not a christian but I got curious sa comment mo.

      Delete
    4. napaisip din ako ni 10:34 .. kapag ba christians bawal magwork out?

      Delete
    5. Not following her kahit self professed Christian sya. Noon pa man nag aadjust ang pagka Christian nya depending on her preference.

Remember the fake bag she posted and then later on said na its ok lang if fake ang bag kahit na call out na?

      Delete
    6. @4:44 Yes i remember that fake LV bag. Hindi sya papatalo kahit mali pa sya. Walang humble bone si Rica. Disgrace sya sa husband nya kasi pastor's wife pa man din so dapat sya ang good example.

Well Rica used to be one, mukhang nagmellow na siya

    1. Oo yan nga sinabi nya sa reply nya. She regrets daw being so aggressive imposing her beliefs on others before

      Delete
    2. Preachy siya kasi asawa siya ng pastor.Pero hindi naman kasi pwedeng ganito na tama sila when it suits her.Bakit ganun

      Delete
    3. 12:44 She's still doing the same thing. No explanation o justification needed.

    1. What's wrong with trick or treating? No judgment, I really wanna know

      Delete
    2. 12:02 you have to know what’s the origin of trick or treat, what are they glorifying, we must discern something before we make “Gayรก”.

      Delete
    3. @1:18 nagkalat ang “christian church” dito sa Canada. And kahapon sa mismong church they have service with trick or treats ๐Ÿค”

      Delete

      Delete
    5. When kids go trick or treating... their hearts and minds are focused on candies and fun... they are not there to practice paganism and witchcraft.

      Delete
    6. I’m a Catholic, my friend is a Christian here in the US. She always inviting us on their Chruch trick or treating. Kids wears costume. Chruch members decorate the trunk of their cars in the parking lot and give candies. Grabe,
Akala ko namna nakagawa ng mortal sin.

      Delete
    7. 1:18 you ever heard of inquisition and that horrifying dark history of the most dominant religion in Phil and yet we all ignore that, do we?

      Delete
    8. 1:18AM, i'm guessing you don't practice/celebrate Christmas, easter, thanksgiving? We must discern the root of these things before we make gaya d ba?

      Delete
The spirit of the event has changed now, and for the better. Wag stuck in the past oi!

      Delete
    10. 1:18 It doesnt really matter what they are used for in the past, nowadays its just used for fun and thats what's important. If we use history as basis for glorifying something, lahat ng religion maraming karumal dumal na history.

    11. 9:17 If Rica's husband is not a pastor, it wouldn't matter kaso kasama sa teachings ng church nila to follow pagan practices and traditions. Kaya lang si Rica na call out kasi against sa teachings ng church nila ang pag participate nya sa halloween. Kung ibang tao like Catholics ang mag celebrate ng halloween hindi kayo iko-call out, hindi magiging big deal kasi inosente kayo, hindi nyo alam saan nag mula ang halloween na hindi pala ok icelebrate unlike sila Rica, alam kasi nila yan pero they chose to disobey and justify their actions knowing na alam nya maraming netizen ang kakampi sa kanya.

      Delete
    12. @1:54 I agree…even here in the US. These “Christian churches” have over 1000+ denominations & they don’t always believe the same thing…this includes Bible interpretation.

      Delete
  6. Dami naman eme ng bashers, the Lord looks at the heart, wala naman sila ginawa masama sa pag costume at trick or treat. Isa pa, when you engage Rica sa ganyan na convo, she really won't let it go. And wala masama sa ginawa nila

    4. This. If you feel the conviction then don't do it. Dati wala namang ganyan. Even Thanksgiving. lol. But filipinos kept copying these western cultures na di naman man lang inaalam ang history behind it.

    5. Wala naman kasing nag-cocostume party pag Christmas Day unless Christmas Party with theme and hindi naman demonic or dark yung mga theme ng Christmas Parties usually.

    4. Thanksgiving is not an American traditional it's an evangelical church tradition.

    6. yan ang hindi ko gusto sa mga "christians" masyadong arrogante. kung umarte akala mo sila lang ang anak ng Diyos. masyadong ginawang literal yung sinabi sa bible, na "Unless you are born again, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven" - there are other ways to interpret yan. pero sa kanila literal. what if sige sumapi ka sa kanila at tinawag na born again. pero makasalanan ka pa rin? sila yung mga ipokrito kasi kung makapag sermon, hilig gumamit ng mga bible verses, pero they don't practice what they preach. feeling nila sila ang Diyos na magja-judge sa tao. before i was invited by my neighbor who is a born again Christian to the opening of her restaurant. pag dating ko don, i noticed na puro sila BACs. ok lang naman kasi social gathering yun di naman worship day. pero yung pastor nila nilapitan ako at ang banat, you know what? you look like you are not happy, parang may madilim na aura sa pagkatao mo blah blah. annd he does not even know me. wala syang alam sa buhay ko except that hindi nya ako nakikita sa simbahan nila. so i asked paano mo nasabi yan? ang sagot nya kasi i don't see the Lord Jesus in you. sabi ko Oh so nakikita mo si Jesus Christ? close kayo? You don't know me. you have no right to judge me. Hindi ka Diyos.

    3. 9:15 I think their basis is the Christian teachings on how Halloween should be celebrated.

  17. all i can say is, we have our own personal beliefs. you can't push your belief to another person. di porket iba pananaw nila sayo, ang ibig sabihin agad eh mali sila and tama ka. i'm a christian and i won't say na super religious ako, but from my observance from my church and other churches too (i went to a lot of churches to find the right one for me), may mga Christians talaga na akala mo walang nagagawang mali and they firmly believe na what they're doing is based sa word of God. there's a lot of debate and interpretations when it comes to bible and the word of God, so wag ho tayong magpush ng paniniwala natin sa ibang tao. you can practice what you preach, but respect boundaries din naman.

      Delete
    6. 2:20 Pasaway na christian si Rica. Nag coconform sya to the ways of the world so all i can say is her pastor husband's teaching wasn't effective kasi he couldn't make his wife obey sa pini-preach nya.

      Delete
    3. What about Christmas? The Christmas celebration came from a pagan Roman festival. Jesus Christ wasn't born on December 25th but sometime in August, according to historians. So do you also celebrate Christmas?

      Delete
    4. If trick or treat is evil for you, ibig sabihin ba ni minsan SA ISIP MO hindi ka nagisip ng masama o pula man lang sa kahit sinong tao? Isa pa please specify kung ano religion mo! Christian is a general term. Lahat ng naniniwala kay Christian. So are you a Catholic, Protestant, Baptist, Born Again?

    5. Totoo din naman yan.Turo yan sa Christian churches not to participate in Halloween Trick or treating

    7. may kilala ako na Christian. sabi sa akin bakit daw binasa ko at pinanood yung Harry Potter bboks at movies e witchcraft daw yun so bad. sabi ko - for entertainment ppurposes. tanga ba ako na siseryosohin ko at magpa-practice ako ng withcraft dahil pinanood at binasa ko HP? kaya itong trick or treat at mga costume parties, pag nag-attend ka wala namang part doon that shows people are worshipping the devil. it is all for fun, dancing, drinking, bonding with friends. tapos trick or treat...mga batang nag eenjoy sa mga goodies na nakuha nila. asan doon ang devil worship? hilig lang talaga ng mga OA na Christians na mag impose ng beliefs nila kasi feeling nila they are Gods na pwedeng mag Judge. inaagawan na nila ng papel ang Panginoon. si God lang ang pwedeng mag judge hindi sila.

Pagan origin nun sis. Very non-christian.

    9. So, will all the good deeds and praises you do be nullified by trick or treating? Just asking.

Kasi church leaders yan sila

  25. Halloween is a pagan tradition. The costumes are meant to help humans blend with the demons and other creatures during this time of the year because they can roam freely - supposedly.

Anyway, personally, i would say yes to trick or treat with my kids only if its a company event, within our village/community, or a family event. Would dress them up in super hero costumes instead of mga monsters or scary characters. My rule of thumb, as long as you do not hurt, steal, or malign anyone, go lang. nakakatawa na lang yung nga self righteous na pinipilit ipakin ung paniniwala nila sa ibang tao, sakit na yan, get yourself checked please!

  36. Christ doesn't reflect in Rica anymore. The way she responds to people in her ig post super arrogant patolera na ang dating. Most of the people there were just concern, maayos ang explanation sa kanya hindi bastos pero her response eh mayabang. It doesn't look good because she is a Pastor's wife, disgrace sya sa kanyang asawa. Nakikipag argue non-stop kesa maging humble at good example of what a true christian should be. Nag back slide na yata si Rica or maybe hindi deep ang faith nito kaya nag coconform na sya with the ways of the world.

  38. All of us are responsible for our actions— but Halloween is celebrating not God but something else. Do not be deceived! He makes beautiful out of evil. I don’t judge people but what I am saying is do not be deceived.

    ReplyDelete
  39. This is why I stopped going to church. People just judge other people. I remember my officemate who goes to mass everyday pero wala kasing suplada, backstabber at maldita.

To me now, it doesn’t matter what your religion and practices are. It’s either you are a “good” person or “bad”.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Most of the people I met who have Bible verses on their social media profiles turn out to be the most hypocrites. Also, people love to get offended by everything nowadays.

    ReplyDelete
But does my friend tell me and yung churchmates niya na huwag manood ng sine? Of course not, because my friend respects my beliefs and others as well. Mga uptight and righteous/jealous people lang ang nao-offend sa ginagawa ng kapwa nila.

  47. Hahaha jeez. People don't have enough real problems that they have to worry about others' souls respective to Halloween? Let's look closer to home. But yea, not really a fan of Rica's righteous huff and puff either. And is no one gonna comment on the pastor's costume? Or the fact that the adults costumes are waay fancier than the kids. Okay, I judged too. What site is this anyway HAHAHA

Itong mga to napaka judgemental haha

  49. 1Cor 10:21 states we cannot partake the table of the Lord and the table of the devil. So there should be no justification na something demonic and pagan is harmless just because it is presented in a light, joyful celebration, full of candies and treats. This is satan's propaganda: to mislead many to accept something unacceptable by "wrapping it in a bright, colourful wrapping" and serve it to us. In such instance, I personally would ask: As a person striving to be Christian (follower of Christ), would Jesus (if hes here on earth) welcome this celebration in a light way, dress up, give candies and all and set aside who really is being glorified at this very occasion?
We have to take our stand, are we to the left or to the right? There is no in-betweens when it comes to whats demonic and pagan to what is the truth.

    1. 7:50 You know when I was in high school, itinuro sa amin ang deeper explanation ng 10 commandments. Ex. Thou shall not kill.

But I think, nag-fa-fall yang about Halloween sa 1st and 2nd commandments which both are about 1 God and He alone is the one we should worship. Puwede mong i-google kung saang nag-fa-fall yang comment mo.

  56. When my family lived in the Philippines more than 3 decades ago, I simply do not remember celebrating Halloween , nor trick or treating or dressing up in costumes. What changed? I only remember that each family are busy preparing to visit loved ones, prayers was the focal point and sometimes bringing foods. Is this because once again the new generation are influenced by the western world? Or once again a gaya gaya attitude. It must be exasperating to just fit in ๐Ÿ˜‚!!

    1. I was born in the PH(Manila)and lived there until I was 12. That's from 1984-1996 and our community/village did celebrate Halloween every year with a party in the club house. The nearby villages were doing the same, we even go there to trick or treat.

      Delete

      Delete

  57. Well satan is crafty walang exception naman anybody can believe his lies n he makes ways so that man will fall short of God’s glory. Binabaligtad madaming bagay that even christians will say its ok, blah blah…. Light has nothing to do with darkness.. kaya we dont need to look up to this preachers… better fix our eyes on Jesus!

  58. It's not biblical yun lang. We should not indulge in worldly things as much as possible especially if it becomes a priority more than God. Let God be the judge but personally, I don't celebrate Halloween.

    1. I agree with you! I am not a holier than thou person Pero I don’t celebrate Halloween. Bahala sila sa buhay nila. I don’t judge them people , I am just telling the truth that it’s of the devil. He twists everything to make it Attractive to people.

    3. 1228 Which I believe yung mga nag-eenjoy at excited every Halloween may not agree with your comment. Kasi nabulagaan na nga sila. For them, walang mali sa pag celebrate nila ng Halloolween. Magcocostume lang sila.

  62. Halloween was not really a thing here in the PH 20 years ago. Nakiuso na lang tayo and most of the time it’s a retail/mall trap kasi you need to buy costumes, candies and decorations.

    1. Totoo yan. Kaya it's not something I'm really into and it's something I won't be encouraging my kid to follow. Toddler pa lang sya and if habang lumalaki sya gusto nya mag costume ok lang pero at this point di ako nag dedecorate ng bahay na may mga paniki etc kahit sa village namin may pa trick or treat and di ko sya binibihisan ng costume.

    3. Pano nangyari yun eh nung bata ako 30+ years ago ang daming activities sa village namin for Halloween. May spooky tunnel, may stage and program, may costume contest, etc. Sa loob ng mga villages “it’s a thing” baks.

  63. Halloween has its origins in ancient Celtic and Christian traditions and did not originate from evil practices. The holiday has evolved over time, and its modern form is a blend of various cultural influences.

The Celtic festival of Samhain, which marked the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter, is often cited as an early precursor to Halloween. It was believed to be a time when the boundary between the living and the dead was thin, and people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off evil spirits.

The Christian influence on Halloween comes from All Saints' Day (also known as All Hallows' Day), which is celebrated on November 1st. Halloween, or "All Hallows' Eve," was the night before this Christian holiday. It was a time to remember and honor the saints and the deceased.

Over the years, Halloween has incorporated elements from various cultures and traditions, and it has become a fun and commercialized holiday centered around costumes, candy, and festive activities. While some aspects of its history involve superstitions and beliefs about the supernatural, Halloween itself is not inherently evil or rooted in evil practices. It's celebrated in a lighthearted and enjoyable manner by people of various backgrounds around the world.

  68. Ganito nalang... let her be. Wag na mamuna if ano trip sa buhay. After all conviction ni rica yan.

We are Christian but we don't indulge with these activities not because bawal sa church but more of magastos and medyo commercialized na. Again, hayaan sa trip nila some likes Halloween parties, ako I preferred the old way of visiting departed loved ones in their graves pag Nov 1. Hahaha

    1. Your comment is very applicable din kay Rica. Wag syang mamuna, maypreachy, and magmandate ng bagay bagay. As long na wala nmn tlagang ginagawang masama and hindi nakakasakit ng living things (tao, hayop, environment) then let people have it and enjoy their lives.

  69. For me, I don't see a problem na kung dati naman ay hindi tayo nag-cecelebrate ng Halloween or ng Thanksgiving Day pero lately ina-adopt na natin. Nasa bawat family pa rin naman yun. Mas nag-gain pa rin ang mga bata dahil nadagdagan sila ng araw in a year na-ilo-look up to dress up at memories na excited manghingi ng candies pa din yun para sa kanila. I think yung pag-adapt natin nun is just proof of the world evolving & power of communication & internet. Malamang dati wala kasi di pa ganun ka-visible online kung pano ba cine-lebrate yun & wala naman masama if na-expose ang pinoy dun dahil again, nasa per family pa rin naman yun if gusto nila bihisan mga kids nila. Pero personally, sobrang cute at natutuwa ako nung kahapon at nung oct 31 ang daming naka-dress up na bata at enjoy nila trick or treat sa mga malls.

  71. Rica was called out in a respectful manner but she didn't like it and retaliated and called them bastos so by saying that to them she disobeyed another teaching in the bible which is to bless those who persecute you and slow to anger, abounding in love. Sorry Rica you just became a hypocrite by not following what your husband has been peaching all these years to the members of your church and you have engaged in an arguement with your own people (same religion, same faith) forgetting to be humble and to just let God be the judge.

  72. In Canada, church leaders/ pastors/ teachers from my sons school ( He attends a Lutheran Christian School) wears costumes at this time of the year. Same with all the kids, they have fun, lots of games and school activities to get treats/ candy. They don’t celebrate Halloween, instead they call it HARVEST FESTIVAL. A very wholesome event and families attend church service.
