    3. It's a catholic school. Not public school. The tuition fee is $8.5k. So k don't know why they're doing a fundraising.

    4. Malamang private school yan. Kasi pag public sagot ng taxpayers yon and may grant from the govt

Never ending ang fundraising nila.

Yes maraming fund raising but not for school repairs. Depende siguro sa Diocese pero dito sa area namin, all school fund raising are either donated to local hospitals, children with special needs, elderly needs, and sometimes we sponsor local sporting events for kids including summer camps.

  10. I’m sorry what? They’re asking for donations to renovate her child’s own school bathroom? Pano naging charity yun?! And why not ask the parents of the students to make contributions?

    ReplyDelete
  16. Nakakainis ung ganyan. Pwede naman mag fund raising ung school without using students.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Private school!! May budget yang mga yan, makukunat lang!!

    ReplyDelete
  18. My daughter is also a first grader in public school, and yes public schools also asked for donations! “Donations” meaning walang pilitan kung gusto mong mag donate or hindi! Any amount will do! Pero as a mother nag dodonate ako kahit 10$ lng! What for? Gasino nb yung onting tulong? Grabe lng pag private walang karapatan mag ask ng donations? Pag public asa sa mga tax payers?! Hindi ba pwedeng may sariling program for improvement yung school since, since hindi lng nman school ang tinutulungan ng government dito?!

    1. Ang haba ng kuda mo te! Pero ito lang masasabi ko sayo, kesehodang public or private schools yan, they ask donations from alumni or parents ng current students at hindi basta kung kaninong tao lang. And yes, as parents magbibigay ka talaga kung school NG ANAK MO YAN o DYAN KA GRUMADUATE.

      Delete
    2. Nothing wrong with asking for donations whether private or publicly funded school but off lang na hihingi ng donation para pag renovate ng CR. Basic and essential infrastructure yung CR kaya dapat mag set ng budget ang school for maintenance at pagpapa ayos nito. Di naman off if yung fundraising is for an event like a homecoming dance or health relatrd expenses ng isang classmate or teacher.

      Delete
    3. 2:56 nag bababsa kaba? Fund raising teh! Gamitin mo daliri mo pang google para malaman mo ibig sabihin ng fund raising.

    4. 6:22 ikaw yung original commenter noh?

    ReplyDelete
  22. I'm sorry pero mga anak naman nila ang gagamit, why not collect contributions from the parents instead? It's not charity kung school naman ng anak mo yan at siya naman gagamit.
