AVGG has rating 3.3 on letterboxd. It is quite good. Phildy gave 3.5/5, mubi reviews 4/5, clickthecity 4/5, and many more. It is good naman. At least most people said it is worth their money
Even the writer ng GMA serye, Ms.Gina Marisa watched avgg and gave applause for the whole team, esp. Kathyn's performance. You can check yourself on her fb. This films is not perfect but definitely not bad.
Di nga ako naniniwala na 100M, considered blockbuster na ang 100M, pero walang kaingay ingay at mpapansin mo din nman yan na dapat may pila at may laman sa sunehan. kahit papano aabot yan sa timeline ng fb mo may friends na mgpopost, pero walang kaingay ingay
12:07, yung 100M di na rin gaanong malaki ngayon considering that the amount of movie tickets has really gone up kaya di mo rin masasabi na mararamdaman mo talaga throug long lines or even posts from friends. It’s like earning 60-70M some 3-5 years ago - not a huge blockbuster hit, but not a flop either. But then again, given that local movies are struggling after the pandemic, allow mo na sila to celebrate this achievement.

Yung isang employee namin na di ko kaclose, nakita ko pa ang comment sa isang page. All organic coz di naman ako nagpafollow ng showbiz pages. Direkta ko dito sa FP page for chismis. So for me kapani paniwala ang 100m. For a Kathryn movie though, hindi ba mababa?

Kung flop yan, pull out na agad yan sa sinehan like cheating game at kung ano pa man other local films lately na talagang walang ingat at all.

(Based on Olivia Lamasan's interview). Their were even willing to have their TF cut off while filming THAOU. Now This is their return to both Kath and DJ. They gave all out to someone who deserved it
Because their fans not only ingay on socmed. They really gave all out to support them. Jampacked mallshows, high tv ratings, sold out concert for dj, platinum album for Kathryn (even she is not a singer 😁), blockbuster movies. Even the brands loves them, esp Kathryn. And looks like Kathryn also win casual's heart. That's why ABS go all out for both of them. Because they are their money maker.
Good na yung gross ng movie kumita pero parang di pa din ganun ka willing mag spend ng pera ang tao sa sine compare nung pre pandemic.. considering na Kathryn movie to mababa pa din ang figures..
I watched it, got some good qualities, but unfortunately hyped lang sya.
Baka unpopular opinion to, pero the movie masked itself sa mga pa-deep na scenes na kunyari may hidden meaning or subject to viewer’s interpretation kuno, but the reality is poor story telling and the conclusion couldn’t be as vague as it was.
It’s so easy to fool fans na maganda yung movie and magaling si Kath, dahil totoo naman kakaiba sya from the things she’s done before. Pero if you’ve watched dark comedies in the past, you’ll see walang special sa acting niya dito.

But being nominated is enough to prove it tp troll because most of you always see the award goving body as the highest and holiest place to judge these artist are great or not. Eventhough rn people do not believe the credible of oscar so how about our organisation? Hehe.. (they are all just the same, all biased and never really fair)
ang promotion ni Kath at Dolly sa US ay di lang para sa AVGG, kundi hiniling din nila na suportahan ang Philippine Cinema at Fil Movies, kya si Kath ang kauna-unahang pinapunta kasi may good image siya, ipinakilala siya sa mga Filipino na tumutulong din kay Dolly sa kanyang career upang makilala siya.. kaya hwag masyadong bitter...magaling naman tlaga si Kath, wholesome ang image at npkabait na bata,..
