JM was in good shape up until early this year. Maybe it was the nonstop work. He was doing Linlang and then Iron Heart back to back and then he did 2 movies in between all of that. Parang ngayon lang siya may break from work since late last year. Hope he gets back into his old fighting form.

Baka kasi method Actor yang si JM. Si Brother Joseph sa Iron Heart I think mataba talaga dapat. Parang yung pastor ng Socorro cult. Tapos sa movie nya na Adik sa Yo ang payat payat niya. drastic yung weight loss niya doon.
WAHAHAHAHA natawa naman ako na pag kulto eh dapat mataba. Un Socorro eh isolated case lang naman un na mataba un cult leader. From gutom eh naging sagana kaya lumamon ng lumamon.
Wala sya sinabi na dapat pag kulto mataba lol…the commenter just associated him like the pastor in the cult but there’s nothing in the sentence that says pag kulto dapat mataba… ganyan naman mga actors, if the role requires you to gain weight… you have no choice, parang si Tom Hanks
Pero hindi nila puhunan ang itsura at katawan gaya ni JM. Let’s admit it, importante sa artista to have talent AND to look good on TV. It’s not like JM looked like that nong sumikat siya kaya hindi sanay ang tao sa itsura niya ngayon.

Minsan un mga may self destructive behaviour un pa ang mga sensitive at mababait. Un sobra sa self preservation eh un ang sobrang self centered, selfish at wais.

Ang dungis nya tignan sa Linlang, mukhang puchu puchu lawyer lol. Yon mga suits/outfits ill fitting sa kanya. Ok naman si Paulo kasi badboy, boxer and ofw naman sya so tama lang yon casual manamit.
Baka part yun ng characterization nila. Why would Juliana switch from the hotter mas guapo brother ( si Victor) to the nerdier less hot brother (si Alex). But yung nerd brother masmatalino bar topnotcher and seems to offer financial security ( kulang nga lang sa prinsipyo). Same way girls go for not so handsome guys with money. so in a sense parang bagay naman ata yung physical look ni JM. But wish the production had spent a bit more on his suits. His character is supposed to be able to afford expensive suits.
Kaya nga, ang laki ng bahay tapos big time na lawyer pero yon suit nya parang pangmatanda. Tawa nga kami ng tawa doon sa part na nagbubugbugan sila ni Paulo nakita ata yon buttcrack nya doon.
@6:15 kasi nga si Alex yung “nandyan” para kay juliana as per story tska nga ambisyosa kasi sya. Parang di naman sya talaga love ni juliana mahal ni juliana sarili nya. As per his suits kasi nga di naman sila alta. And shady lawyer sya na ginagamit yung weakness ng clients for personal gains kaya ganun ang mga outfits. Nagrereflect ng character nya na di sya bagay sa mundo na yun. Money can’t buy class.
Ang ganda ng bahay and top lawyer sya tapos suot nya ganon lang. Nabilhan nga si Juliana ng bongang bahay pero di makabili ng maayos na suits. I guess nasanay lang ako sa kdrama lawyers na presentable manamit.
Acting wise okay naman sya sa linlang. Personally, yun looks nya medyo mismatched sa role nya. Para bang di sya yung tipong ipagpapalit yung asawa para sakanya haha
women do not really cheat dahil sa looks. it is an emotional thing. yun nga ang point. Hindi siya pogi. Nerdy siya. Juliana chose him because he filled her emotional needs. Iba psyche ng babae vs guys.
Syempre kesa sariling kahirapan at kapangitan, dapat mas pansinin ang kada tikwas ng buhok ng ibang tao. Kanal motto: Ignore your problems and stay poor!
Maraming pwedeng reasons ng weight gain. Isa na perhaps is baka he’s on certain meds that can cause weight gain like steroids or anti- depressants. We should just be all kind cause we don’t know what each of us is going through.

Luh sya. Obese ba yung tao? Weight gain lang naman. Wala namang nagroromanticize ng weight gain nya dito. Kung obese yung tao, pwede bigyang ng comment to encourage better health. Pero etong pics mukha still within the normal weight yung lalaki. Amoy fatphobic ka.
Sana tigilan na natin yung thinking na compliment yung pag sabi na tumaba or mataba na yung isang tao. It's not cute at all, kung sainyo harmless siya, think about the person who's getting that comment.
Hope people around him take note. Hope he has a good support system. When he was on the set of his teleseryes before Linlang he was always working out. Even when he was on the set. Check out Init sa Magdamag and Pamilya Ko. He has a new road manager for about a year now. JM introduces him as his recovery buddy. The guy is a former chef and is probably super nice. But every time I see pictures of them together the guy is bringing JM to some restaurant and they're eating food. parang he’s been exercising a lot less and has been looking more sluggish this past year. He needs someone on his team regularly monitoring his fitness and his food intake. Especially when he's filming.
Pwede bang tigilan natin ang pagkocomment tungkol sa katawan/weight ng kapwa. It's such a weird part of filipino culture, that your value or worthiness is based on your weight. Bakit tinatanong kung "anyare?" pag tumaba as if bigla syang low value na dahil tumaba. Kung unsolicited comment tungkol sa ugali pwede.
Puhunan naman kasi niya yan bilang artista te! Nakilala ba siya na ganyan yung katawan niya? No. He became popular not only because of his talent but charm na din. Iba yung dating niya nong hindi pa siya nag-gain ng weight.
