    1. Ang OA naman sa bandera natin. I am not invalidating her effort, props to her kasi ginawa nya ang makakapagpasaya sa kanya.

    2. Bandera saan? Ang babaw.

      Delete
    3. Exactly so babaw!!! May pa bandera pang alam!!

    5. Bandera sa street fashion

      Delete
    6. I think 11:55 means bandera natin in terms of recognizing our country is also capable of high fashion? Heart started it so hopefully more will follow suit

    7. Pero talagang she pursued what she loves noh? this career path akala ko impossible o for fun lang fir her, i mean wala lang, wala din tong patutunguhan, only a socialite among the many, kasi hindi naman sya supermodel sa pinas and sa liit nyang yan. But look at her now. Many luxury brands recognize her, hindi lang retail sa pinas, pero mismong the designer.

      Delete

    9. 12:12 Whether you admit it or not, malaking tulong si Heart kaya napapansin ang Pilipinas as a potentially big market for fashion. It’s written in Vogue USA’s business journal, search it for yourself. Paano ba maapektuhan Pilipinas dyan? That means more jobs generated for our workers kasi mas dadami ang bubukas na fashion businesses sa Pilipinas. Hindi lang yan basta fashion.

    10. Pero the fact nag co comment kayo sa Fashion Pulis na targeted fashion news and scoops it means something right and to be known in Fashion industry and featured in international magazines is a major plus yung sinsabi ng ibang foreigner na mga maids caregivers lang ang mga pinoy abroad..she raising the 🇵🇭flag to be know in Fashion so yes im proud of Heart achievements you can clearly see her happiness doing her passion thats her its Art…

    11. I have been reading about Asian celebrities who attended those fashion weeks, but no Filipino has been featured. Mostly we're the Korean Kpop idols, Thai n Chinese actors.

      Delete
    12. i think it’s idiomatic. maiangat bandera means maiangat ang STATUS NG IMAHE natin sa buong mundo or gumanda ang IMPRESSION natin sa buong mundo. heart is helping us by building the filipino brand. she did it when she was personally chosen by kevin kwan as one of the “real crazy rich asians” for harper’s bazaar. and she does it everytime she attends fashion week and other events.

    13. Yung pag narinig ng iba ung Philippines or pag natanong anong alam nila about sa Pinas di lang puro poverty, crimes, Manny Pacquiao, Boracay, “p*tangena, karaoke ang masasagot nila. At least nakikilala na tayo sa ibang larangan. What’s wrong with carving your name along with your country’s mapasaang lugar o anong paraan man yan… mag pinoy nga lang na sumulpot sa isang talent show pinoypride agad ung iba e… but heart is appearing internationally one right after the other. Sa totoo lang minamani nya dahil magaling sya kaya feeling ng iba madali lang din for them. She paved the way for the others to enter that scene

      Delete
    14. Di nakatulong yan sa ekonomiya ng pinas

      Delete

So there, bandera is the right term.

      Delete
    17. Patawa yung more jobs generated daw. Touch grass, ante. Hindi afford ng normal na pinoy ang high fashion, and the rich who can afford don't and won't shop in the Philippines. Naive mo.

      Delete
    18. Bandera kasi pwedeng pang Olympics yan under fashion and streetwalking category. Of cours its for her personal gain pero nakakaproud din na she can do this as a Filipina in a very classy way.

      Delete
Meaning may market. Ikaw tong naive.

      Delete
    20. Ang oa sa bandera ah. She goes to fashion weeks kasi may pera naman sya to do so. Karangalan ba yun sa buong bansa? Not hating Heart, she’s lucky na she can do what makes her happy, but being proud of it? Anong connect

      Delete
    21. Yung mga LV, Dior, YSL shops sa Pinas pag bumibisita sa heart nagte thank you sila kay heart kasi na so sold out nga sinusuot nya like yung shades before pag pasok ng customer sabi nila yung shades ba sinuot ni heart so yes may contribution sya as these bra ds pays a lot of taxes in the Philippines

      Delete
    22. Ang daming nagmamarunong just to diminish her accomplishments. Fashion may seem superficial, but of course it has value and impact on commerce. And I agree with the comments about raising the country’s profile.

      Delete
    23. 1254 you're the naive one to think na hindi bumibili ang pinoy ng luxury brands dito. Bisita din ng greenbelt wag puro tiangge

      Delete
    24. 1254 antih, you reek of negativity and inggit kay Heart.

      Delete
    25. Let’s not even forget after Heart brought the spotlight on Fashion nagkaconsideration ang Vogue PH dito. H started FW circa 2017 and Vogue launched 2022

    1. NOPE. Seryoso ka ba? May masabi lang eh. It's actually Heart who tried hard and the rest had it easier. Good for everyone but admit it or not, Heart is a TH.

    2. 12.23AM Heart paved the way for the others. anong admit it or not heart is TH?? ayusin mo pagkakasabi mo te! you are saying it in a negative way. hater ka lang.

      Delete
    3. 12:23 Sige go hater invalidate mo yan effort ni heart. Sya pa talaga sinabihan mong trying hard eh noh? At un iba made it easier? Kase ni na kaw un contacts ni heart kaya it made easy for them. Lol

      Delete
    4. Agreed @12:23!

      Delete
    5. 12:23 Ikaw yata TH dito eh

      Delete
    6. 12:23 let's be honest. Yes, she tried hard and she very much succeeded

      Delete
    7. 12:23 Hindi literal yun. I guess what 11:59 meant was mukhang mga trying hard masyado yung mga newbies sa PFW while Heart is effortlessly stylish.

      Delete
#justsaying lol

      Delete
    9. Eto na lang HEART STRUTTED so the others could walk

      Delete
    10. 12:42 Marami nang pinay nag PFW before her.

      Delete
    11. 12:23 are you ok? She was invited to 15 shows in paris fashion week alone! Yes she tried hard and she succeeded much harder. There's no shame in that! How many shows did your idol attend? First pfw ba?

      Delete
Lol

      Delete
    13. 10:41 excuse?
Only in your world FW never mattered but for the fashion enthusiast it does! Biglang ininvalidate ang FW kaloka.
And truth is Heart brought FW much attention in Philippine not only dahil artista sya because she really showed there’s a market here. Kaya nga nagka VoguePH na tayo dahil they saw that Many filipinos are into fashion and actually can buy lux stuff. Kaya nakakainis na binoblock sya ng big fashion people dito sa Pilipinas when she paved the way for fashion to be recognized here and people vocalized their enthusiasm for it.

      Delete
Of course, marami ng may alam dyan but unlike now. Just look at how many Pinoy celebs ang sumasali. Dati hindi nman ganyan.

  4. Yung kasali siya sa Vogue 100 ni Anna Wintour and yet deadma sa kanya ang Vogue Philippines since its inception. Hahaha! Vogue PH needs her more than she needs them.

    1. Vogue is Vogue. Pader na yan compared to Heart.

      Delete
    2. 12.23 AM at andon na sa Vogue 100 si Heart, and she had a picture with Ms Wintour last year. ikumpare mo si Heart sa Vogue e institution na yang Vogue but to be on the list huag mo isnabin. kanina ka pa basher dyan ni Heart eh.

      Delete
    3. Vogue US ang pader. Not Vogue PH. They are not the same. Facts only.

      Delete
    4. Agree, 12:09. Magazines are on their way out. I have generally liked vogue PH’s content but I don’t think Heart needs them.

      Delete
    5. I mean vogue ph has less than 300k followers on insta. This is not Vogue US or even vogue France so no, Heart doesn’t need Vogue PH

      Delete

      Delete
    8. Heart does not need Vogue PH. She already got recognized by VOGUE worldwide! Not just locally but internationally.

      Delete
    9. Feeling ko wala pang budget ang Vogue PH to get Heart as covergirl.

      Delete
    10. 720 the pay to feature celebrities om covers is minimal, especially for prestigious publications like vogue. Minsan wala pang bayad.

  6. HEART IS HEART!! She doesn’t need to prove anything!

    ReplyDelete
  7. In fairness kay heart talagang she can stand out eh. Plus her outfits and overall look she can carry it very well. Very fashionable. She looks expensive too at higit sa lahat it looks natural on her yun pagiging fashionista

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. It’s innate. Hindi matatawaran talaga ang passion niya for fashion. And that made the glaring difference compared to all the PFW field trippers.

      Delete
    2. Spot on, 12:35! When you’re passionate about something, it comes out naturally! Authentic!

      Delete
That’s really her calling

      Delete
    4. I have to agree. May input kasi c Heart sa gusto nyang isuot. Just look at the other fashion week attendees nakakaloka ang suot. Lol, pero first time kasi nila. Cge na nga lang.

      Delete
    5. Yan ang difference ng sumusuot lang at bumibili ng branded items compared to sa may fashion input and vision talaga.

"She wears the dress, not the other way around."

      Delete

Sa mga nagsasabi na there were other Filipinos sa fashion week before Heart, true, there were, but the fashion world did not sit up and notice which meant no invitations resulted for them, and so their fashion-week careers never really took off before dying a natural death. Not the case with Heart na directly invited talaga by the luxury brands with no backers involved, no “correspondent” kuno na ka-ek-ekan. Heart’s journey just keeps getting better and better, and IT’S ALL HER. Consistent with or without this or that glam team. SHE is the glam team.

    3. Haha it's fashion week. Baduy is the trend. Mix and match dapat ! Ang importante e kaya dalhin.

      Delete
    4. 12:45 and you are? Anna Wintour? Did someone just die and made you the fashion chief?

      Delete
    5. 12:45 I beg to differ, keri niya all outfits - pulled them off kahit petite siya

      Delete
    6. Bhe quite luxury/old money style ang trend ngayon. Kaya more on not loud ang aethetic nya ngayon, which is hindi baduy un. Gone are the days of logo mania, siguro after ng economic crisis babalik ulit yan. Kita mo ulit mga bold prints and colorful outfits.

      Delete
    7. Who said? Haha

      Delete
    8. And who are you? 10:36 every lifestyle magazine is going away from the quiet luxury basics. Because quiet lux is never a trend, it’s a fashion staple. It’s basic and minimal. Trends are still in the bold, nude looks and the mix and match. Don’t talk out of you ar se. Magamit pang ang quiet luxury hanoh kahit walang sense

      Delete
Actually, mas maganda na ang make up at suot nya this fashion week.

      Delete
    10. To 7:40 I am working in this industry here in US, you are in FP page, it is a staple but maybe you’re not in this business so you don’t follow trends in the fashion industry, the rise of quite luxury and the market rise up from Loro Piana, Bottega etc we went from Logo Mania era to this subtle branding even chanel went crazy with their previous collections if you really shop this brands of clothes and shoes with their classic cc details all over. So I don’t know why I hit your nerve? Maybe you bought branded clothes with big logos and the trend nowadays is going elsewhere, that’s fashion it comes and goes. Even gucci is revamping! My delve in more with your social media kaya nakita mo ang latest collection na sinasabing baduy kc bland. Not everybody appreciates trends in fashion but this is business go where the money is. Okay?

  10. As the only Filipina in Anna Wintour’s Vogue 100, the honor of being Vogue Ph’s first ever cover girl should’ve been given to Heart because Vogue is first and foremost about fashion. Nobody in the Philippines lives and breathes fashion more than ❤️. Bea Valdez should’ve understood this considering na she’s the eic mainly because her minaudière got featured in Vogue a thousand years ago.

Vogue US talagang focus nila is all things fashion, hollywood, and everything superficial. Vogue PH is pa-Time magazine nga. Pa deep at pa-intelehente kuno. Naging fashion magazine pa kayo?

      Delete
    8. True. So pawoke. Very time magazine ang ganap. Kasi they are trying so hard. I do like they are featuring not the usual and does do women empowerment pero my god you are Vogue. It’s too pwoke for my taste. And sadly I am one of their TG.

    1. I agree. Like I said before pa ang dami sumubok pasukin ang fashion week as influencers but they all failed becauase money making ang shows. Para makakuha ka ng invite or even secure a front row seat you need to pay a lot! As in A LOT! So hindi maka keep-up yung mga influencer wannabees kase sayang pera. Years bago nila kitain ulit yun or maybe not dahil sugal nga yan. All the asian influencers alam yan kaya mega iyak kapag nakakuha ngaykn ng front row invite dahil big deal sa pinagdaanan nila. Designers love her infairness. She gets invited to dinners and personal space nung mga important people. Naki-keep niya yung relationship with them which is mahirap kung boring ka na tao and not really meant for the job.

      Delete
    2. 10:48 yup iba si Heart kasi she is genuinely immersed in fashion. Hindi basta parampa rampa lang, inaral niya talaga and elevated her personal taste. She is not just a pretty face she is also her own stylist, designer, and an artist with a POV and thats how she stood out from the crowd

      Delete

GO heart.

    2. 543 hahaha true! Ano kayang feeling ng basher na yan no? Now, Heart is really prospering in fashion internationally. Dati binabash at pinagtatawanan lang nila yan c Heart. May luxury brand pa dati na kinuyog nung mga jejefans kasi andun c Heart. Nakakahiya. 😂

  13. She…. paved the way. Hehehe

  14. Heart never needed any help from any local publication or sponsor to get where she is now. Talagang trinabaho niya lahat at kinareer pagiging “IG model” sa social media account niya. And by that, I respect her hustle. Truly a trailblazer.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Na-level up niya ang branding ng Pinay sa ‘Fashion and Arts’. Pagtulungan natin siyang iangat tulad ng ibang Pinoy at Pinay. Huwag un tayo pa nangunguna mamuna.

  19. Agree with Vogue, she is the original Filipina influencer attending fashion week abroad.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Dami bitter with the “bandera” thing o cge nga. Anong na bandera ng idol nyo internationally?! Heart is the pioneer in international fashion

    ReplyDelete
  21. I can still remember when she first attended fashion week.. she used to gets the "pinagpilian" items from the brand that she'll be wearing for the shows but now she's the first one choose even the couture items to wear. Thriving and winning.. She is really a trailblazer.

    ReplyDelete
Duh? Eh nalaman nila na may pera sa fashion week.. Ano sila ngayon? Nagsi-gayahan na.. Heart doesn't need any publications to be correspondents and to enjoy field trip to fashion week. This is her passion! And eventually, those who mock her and tried to steal and dim her light will end their career in this arena in a natural way.

    7. 7:03 hindi sa twang or wide vocab. More like, is she charismatic? Engaging ba siya kausap? Does she say what the people want to hear?

      Delete
    8. 703 girl, malimali man ang grammar ni Heart, she can converse and hindi nman uso ang perfect English kapag dito sa Europe. Ang importante magaling ka talaga with what you are doing.

    9. 10:56 anong mali sa grammar ni heart? Kaloka ka. Uy wag ka mang gaslight ha. Inggiterang to. Si pia at nadine mag me mali minsan na english

    10. 9:55 do you think Parisians are keen to grammar? English is not their first language. What’s good about heart is she communicates confidently, yun ang mas importante. Pinoy lang naman ang grammar nazzis

  31. bakit ganun, ang babaw nating mga Pinoy? we have a kababayan who has been attending fashion week for a few years and she is now being recognized by some internationally as a fashion influencer. we can be proud for her because she is now getting success in something she is passionate about but why are these fans blabbering like Heart had achieved something of national or global significance? kalmahan nyo lang uy

    2. 4:06–because what she did was not easy. The measure of success is not one size fits all. And has garnered the attention of influential authorities in this arena, who would not have paid attention to our market or our people otherwise. I’m not even a a fan and I’m not in the fashion industry, but I support women, and I celebrate women and especially Filipino women’s successes.

Aminin man natin or hindi, we are a third world country, hindi tayo pwede mag feeling na it’s just an ordinary thing for us to be recognized abroad.

    5. What she is doing really does have the potential to be even bigger kaso meron kasing mga haters na imbes na hayaan na lang siya to do what she does with her life, they make it a mission para pabagsakin sya. If people like you who still think what she does is not enough to be considered an achievement for the country could just let her be instead of contributing to her downfall, then she can definitely achieve something much bigger.

    6. Super agree with you. There are a lot of Filipino stylists and Influencers that already have been invited to these fashion shows prior to her.

    7. @ 3:55 but they never had the media milege she had now. were they part of Vogue 100? personally became friends w top designers? have collab with the biggest brands in fashion for their personal style? i dont think, that has never happened. so be inggit there, you stupid b

  32. not a fan, but infairness kay heart, she was the pioneer, give her credit naman. (not aware of any other Filipino before her). Others had an idea na pwede pala sila sumali with the proper connections. kaya ayun, nagsigaya narin

  33. To those who are saying Heart E is effortless while the others are mere "trying-hards", how do you define EFFORTLESS? From what I have see, it's Heart who is effort na effort talaga sa pag attend sa Fashion Week na may bitbit pa talagang make up artist, hair stylist and fashion stylist. Tapos sasabihin nyo effortless? haha. Hindi masamang mag effort because we should really put a lot effort into what we do and that is exactly what Heart did. Sabi nga ng comment sa taas nito, ginapang talaga ni heart wherever she is now. Deserve nya because she really worked hard for it, nag effort and try hard sya and she suceeded. But do not say she is effortless lalo na when she got a lot of help from other people to pull off everything -glam team and stylist.

    1. maybe mukhang effortless dahil innate sa kanya and yun ang passion nya

      Delete
    3. It’s not the literal effortless meaning walang effort. It’s more on the fact that the result of her efforts/hardwork is so much more than normal because she has her own special touches that is innate to her. All the others can also have their own team and hire even more people to help them, but it’s about the results. Not everyone can do what heart can do somewhat natirally. Heart always delivers. The amount of effort she exerts translates to a bigger result. In short, others need to double or quadruple their effort to keep up. Kaya it seems that heart is effortless because she achieves greater results

    2. Have you been to Paris?

  37. Aside from her awra-awra I saw in many of her fitting videos she really has an artistic opinion sa mga damit. It’s not comment like timeless, elegant, interesting color but she has an artist eye. I remember a Schiaparelli fitting where she described the buttons placement of all things! She gives feedback on her length and how she can refit it to her height and frame. So as a designer you would like this. Someone that truly understands the craftsmanship. OA man sa iba but people esp in Paris a cutthroat place for this industry, this is what they live and breathe. And that’s what elevated her status, it’s more than the photos and posts, for Heart, fashion is a way of life.

  38. People don't realize how wicked and messed up the fashion industry really is. Maybe not all, but in general. It reeks of narcissistic traits. Unhealthy looking models, who can barely walk from wearing overly heavy clothes, models being exploited by being underpaid, models falling flat on their faces from wearing super high heels, the list goes on. Don't forget about the designers who need rehab from making atrocious clothes that you can't actually wear which they call fashion.

    2. Mejo mababaw ang intindi mo sa ginagawa ni ❤️.. representing Filipino in a global stage is not easy ha. Especially if ang tingin satin mababa like DH, Caregivers and Blue collar workers. Sa ginagawa ni heart nagkakaron ng idea ang mga brands na may potential market sa Pinas, not literally buyers but also great marketers and promoters. Kesa kainggitan ang ginagawa nya at hilahin sya pababa.. Let her do her thing! Hindi ba mahirap gawin yun talaga?? Nakakahiya talaga yung pagiging crabby ng mga Pilipino.. and yes shadowbanning her social media accounts is one good example of crab mentality!
