Art is self expression. Real Artists don’t really aim to be liked. They just want to express themselves (ideally). I think If an artist only chases what’s in and just do it for the sake of likes, that would make him/her a sellout. That being said, this type of art is not my cup of tea as well but kudos to him for expressing himself through art
Same. My favorite is "Christina's World" but was more drawn to the backstory of it. Although I have to agree that art is subjective. Siguro depende sa taste and it is always open for interpretation.

Mukhang oil on canvas ang medium nya. Nanghinayang lang ako sa oil paints na ginamit parang masabi lang na abstract ang art genre. Oh well, congratulations nalang kay mahal if that's how he expresses his art eme.
abstract expressionist movement is jackson pollock's claim to fame.. di ko lang ma-appreciate yan dahil even a 5y/o can splash paint on a canvas and call it art. 😂
I grew up in an artistically inclined family, and as I mature mas na-appreciate ko yung realistic art, iba yung feels and emotions na nabibigay nila simply by just staring at them. And it scares me na parami na ng parami yung mga ganitong uri ng art, mga shapes, distorted, at multo multo ang dating. Yes it’s still art. But realism is forever. It brings nostalgia, It touches the soul of the viewer.

Ok lang naman kung abstract gusto nya pero kung pagtabi tabihin mo kasi lahat ng paintings nya iisa lang ang hitsura. Parang nagpaint lang sa napakalaking canvass tapos ginupit gupit at friname. 🤷🏻♀️😂🤣
I like arts pero mas naappreciate ko yung mga simple subject like flowers, scenery or yung tao particularly a lady.
