    1. For a 2nd week gross post pandemic? Then Yes!

      Delete
    2. Maliit pa din considering na rated PG

      Delete

      Delete
    4. Yes malaki na yan sa panahon ngayon na puro flop ang Pinoy movies sa cinemas since the pandemic.

      Delete
    5. Sempre merong ampalayang magpapasaring. Ha 11:15? Mahiya ka sa sarili mo.

      Delete
    6. For a gma film, yes. And even for julia m, i think. Malayo sa blockbuster pero hindi naman flop

      Delete
    7. 11:15 what made you so mean that you can’t be happy for others? Pandemic and the 2 wars happening now did not change your outlook in life

      Delete

    9. this movie is a collab project of independent small producers. base sa positive feedbacks, the movie have awakened the movie-viewing habit of the public so congratulations. sana magtuloy tuloy na until next year para madami pang magproduce ng movies.

    10. Ang baba yan for that kind of movie, relationship hugot romance yung theme, diba supposedly mahilig mga pinoys nang ganyan, irene villamor pa yung direktor pero hindi nakatulong

      Delete

      Delete
    12. 50M pero konti lang manood yan, karamihan mga fans and employees from brand endorsement, casuals won't go back to cinemas as long as mahal parin yung tickets tapos paulit ulit pa yung story and genre

      Delete
    13. Hindi ganon kataas for a movie directed by direk ayrin, not surprising kasi hindi ito best movie niya, sid and aya is still her best romance movie

      Delete
  2. balik puhunan na din

    1. Not yet, quite big budget yung movie kasi may shooting sa abroad, tapos yung promo campaign nila involved dalawang network, influencer showbiz vlogs at maraming mall tours

      Delete
  3. Slowly but surely. Way to go Alden, Julia and team! Congrats 🥳

    ReplyDelete
  4. Kung 3 producers meaning tatlo pa sila maghahai hati? Tapos may shots pa overseas. Need atleast 100m to break even

    1. Accountant ka nila teh?

      Delete

      Delete
    3. kung ititrace mo they consciously kept their location, prod team and promo to a minimum. yun promo pa with sponsorship pa sa endorsements ni alden. so i think may kinita na sila sa 50M which is napakahirap makuha ng producers nowadays.

      Delete
    4. Kahit 100M kulang pa rin baks, aside from the 3 producers, may cut din for the cinemas, for me, wrong strategy talaga yung promo campaign nila

      Delete
    5. 6:15 movie, shoots, mediacon and promo overall costs a lot 50 million is not enough lalo na 3 producers pa sila naghati- hati. obviously they are targeting 100m para mabalik lahat ng ginastos nila. kaya nga lahat ng gma department at cornerstones connections at mga endorsements nina alden nag block screening na.

      Delete
    6. For me lang ha, they initially target for a bigger number based on their promo campaign, all out sila sa mag promote sa dalawang network, tapos may left and right appearance/interview sa tv, youtube, mall tours etc, unfortunately hindi ganon kataas yung gross, mahal ng cinema tickets ngayon tapos so so lang yung movie, hindi remarkable at outstanding

      Delete

    ReplyDelete

    1. I think less than 100 cinemas na

      Delete
    2. 230 cinemas nung 2nd week. Not sure sa 3rd week

      Delete
    3. Hindi 200 cinemas na ngayon, parang 80-90 lang

      Delete
  6. Watched it twice with friends. It's a really well made movie. Alden & Julia showed great acting. Won't be surprised if they win awards.

    ReplyDelete
  7. This is a huge win considering the fact that cinema sales went significantly low post pandemic. Congratulations, Julia!

    ReplyDelete
  8. After 2 weeks?? For romance movie?? Meh

    ReplyDelete

    1. I’d say it’s a decent and organic gross. 50M is 50M.

  9. 50 million? Susssh! Wala nga ingay ang movie nila eh!

    1. 1:26 is that sarcasm? I was shookt nagyayayang manood nito kapag nagka international screening!

      Delete
    2. On the contrary, maingay ang movie nila for the right reasons. They all loved it and Alden and Julia’s acting are superb. Hahakot ng awards sila for sure.
Sanay ka yata kase sa ingay ng mga negang Alts na pinafollow mo so talagang di mo maappreciate to.

      Delete
    3. Malaki na yan, considering na wala siyaang international screening

      Delete
  10. Good job Alden, Julia and Direk Irene, waiting for it to be shown abroad!

    ReplyDelete
  11. 2 weeks P50 Million local cinema gross post pandemic, wala pang international screening yan 👏👏👏

  12. infairness worth it yung 350 ko. good job team.. may chemistry

  13. i watched the movie promise ang pangit ng linya, ang pangit ng story telling pati transitions. julia and alden was good but di kinaya itawid yung poorly written story line for me and my friends. 2/10 ang movie.

    1. Ikaw at friends mo lang nagsabi nyan. Critics made it known in public na maganda yung movie.

    2. I beg to disagree

    3. Teh subject verb agreement mo ayusin mo..sakit sa bangs English mo🤣

      Delete
    4. Yes, for me may problema talaga sa storytelling at screenplay, kaya may kulang sa emotion at impact, my verdict: 5 out of 10 stars

      Delete

  14. actually maganda. Accurate naman mga ratings and good reviews

  15. Ang galing! Congratulations!!!

    1. Tumpak, i thought they could earn more

    2. For a movie with heavy and wide promo, what a disappointing turnout, i think pinoys are already tired with romance, relationship ek ek movies in cinemas, paulit ulit walang bago especially sa story, screenplay at script

      Delete
    3. 511 kanina ka pa comment ng comment. Again no one is forcing you to watch their romance movie. Dun ka sa horror or something else. Hanap ka ng happiness mo girl okur

    1. Hindi na breakeven as for now, they spent a lot for their heavy promo and shooting abroad

      Delete
    2. 756am Baks nasa 1 to 3 days lang sila sa abroad, hindi oa gastos dun since iilan lang ang kasama sa ganyang shoot. 50M is nakakaproud given the hard knock life na pinagdadaanaan ng marami lalo after pandemic.

      Delete
    3. 9:14 baks location, setups, props, talent, hotels, ticket plane, dzaii mahal yun kahit pa they shoot for 3days. kaya nga indie movies or movies with limited budget na nag shoot sa ibang bansa, nag kanya kanya na lang cla kasi mahal.

      Delete
    4. Ang daming comment about sa costs. Producers kayo mga ateng? You don’t know their financial status. Kumita man sila or hindi, wag nyo ng pakialamanan. Masyado kayong mamaru. Feeling producer yan?

      Delete
  19. watched it, ok naman siya. parang maikli nga lang at kulang ng exposition. could have used a few more scenes detailing their life together. grabe, the demure julia m. naging palaban sa passionate scenes! sana may follow-up pa silang project ni alden. bagay sa height at edad.
    no offense kay tanggol ✌️

    ReplyDelete
Tapos grabe promotion nila. Malaki gastos niyan sa promotion and 3 producers pa maghati niyan. May cut pa pala cinemas.

    1. Hahahahaha, oo nga, tanggol na tanggol

    2. Paulit ulit din yung for a romance movie eme. Wag ng mapait! Support your non romance movie na bet nyo. And PS, don’t use the I am just a casual reader of FP. Kumita na yan!

      Delete

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Oo, kung walang bago sa istorya, ipam palengke ko nalang, clearly walang movie evolution talaga post pandemic, hugot, break up, romance, relationship parin yung theme, ang boring

      Delete

      Delete
  25. Sa mga nega dyan, If you've all watched the movie I think bawi naman sa budget, ilang days lang din sila sa SG and si Alden at Julia lang naman ang actors na dinala doon. And for sure abot pa hanggang 4 weeks ang movie so madaragdagan pa yan plus international screening pa.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Not surprised at all with this, paulit ulit kasi mga romance themed movie sa pinas, walang bago pre at post pandemic, tapos laging may kulang sa storytelling, techincal, acting etc

    ReplyDelete
This is 50 million, higit ng 47 million. Mayroon pang mga Filipino movie na first day last day kaya, for me, successful na rin ito. Plus, walang padding ang gross nito.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Jan inis na inis mga bashers eh. Well true naman, walang padding na gross yan. It didn’t magically became 100M out of nowhere. Eto, slowly na umaakyat. So I’d say it’s an organic success for the whole team! Congrats!

      Delete
