Considering that we are a 3rd world country, with natural genetics na mas maliliit compared to other countries, we are doing great already. That’s a big achievement considering our disadvantaged positions.
besh, pwede maging masaya at proud ka na lang sa achievement ng Gilas?! Yun lang, ang nega mo eh. Mura ba ang ampalaya ngayon sa Pinas? Tinrabaho nila yan - blood, sweat and tears. Para kang itong isang officemate ko when I asked the team to please pray and support GIlas. Ang sagot "tbh, I am not that patriotic to support them". San tayo lulugar sa mga ganitong isip talangka?
Sobrang taas ng standards mo ha.. cguro ikaw yung student na kahit honor pero di naman valedictorian eh hindi natuwa ang parents. Lungkot ng buhay mo repa.
I want you all to pause and think about this for a second...
Filipinos have been ridiculed for the longest time for loving and playing basketball and having NBA dreams despite our height disadvantage and inability to win BUT THE VERY MOMENT THEY REPLACE THE COACH, PHILIPPINES BECOMES ASIAN CHAMPION JUST LIKE THAT. THAT IS TRULY MINDBLOWING! Just think about it!
Kung nuon pa sana... Hindi na sana natin pinagdaanan ang point na pinagtatawanan na tayong mga pinoy dahil sa hilig natin sa basketball.
Kindly look at our national team... Most of them are short in basketball standards right? Proof that it wasn't the Filipinos' height that's the problem... IT WAS THE COACH AND THE LOUSY SYSTEM.
Nice G.. Coach. chot 😏 😂

ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the team! Pls educate me - does this give them a slot in the 2024 Paris Olympics?
ReplyDeleteYes as a Gold Medalist, they secured a spot.
DeleteNo, they have to play and win one of the slots in the Fiba Olympic Qualifying Tournament next year.
DeleteGood job proud of it. Etong nega dito dapat sau itapon sa china
ReplyDeleteNo pa din. Pero qualified sila for “Qualifying round”. Kalaban buong mundo depende kung san sila maba-bracket.
