Its almost like Ms. Dolly is making up for all the years she was not so visible. She's amazing, of course but I hope she won't be too overexposed that her mystery which is part of her charm (and thus the interest of the viewer) is lost.

Let’s be honest, even with Dolly, A Very Good Girl has zero Oscars potential! The acting and storyline is too cringey and forced! They tried too hard to make this movie a more “Hollywood genre” but failed especially with casting Kathryn who’s no where near close to being an Oscar worthy actress.

I think, the line up isnt that par from the caliber of Parasite.. walang paki ang jurors with these storylines, not relatable for everyone and to the world. Why Parasite won? The storyline is universal - sana ganon magisip ng lineup ang PH. Kung walang film na pasok ok lang kesa maging TH tayo..

Nung pinadala ung Heneral Luna i told myself baka ndi siya mashortlist pero umasa ako ng slight na baka mashortlist siya kasi maganda naman.
Pero hindi siya nasama kasi nga tayong pinoy lang nakakarelate sa story at struggles ng movie. Ganun din issue ng mga prior and subsequent submissions natin.
At the end of the day, Western people pa rin ang judge ng mga entries, kaya dapat ma touch ng movie ang sensibilities nila.
