Its also be a metaphor in life. That there are cool or beautiful things to discover around us if only we take time to look esp nowadays na sobbrang focused ang lahat sa socmed.

True. Ang baby girl ko dito sa japan hindi takot humawak ng mga insekto sa park. Pati sa school hinahayaan sila humawak ng mga uod, etc. naghuhukay, nagtatanim, umaani pa ng mga kamote. Sa park nanghuhili ng mga insekto like butterfly, tutubi tapos pakakawalan. Napaka aware nng mga bata dito when it comes to nature. Wala akong childhood nung bata ako sa pinas. Kaya ako pa ung halos masuka at natatakot everytime may hahawakang insekto anak ko
2:17 buti anak mo curious and hindi takot sa creepy crawlies. Kasambahay namin saksakan ng arte. May worm box kami, isang box na may earthworms kung saan mo ilalagay vegetable peels and other compostables tas yung poopoo nila magiging fertilizer. Yung kasambahay ayaw lumapit at maglagay ng vegetable peels sa box, kadiri daw. Minsan napapaisip ako kung saang planeta galing yung kasambahay namin.
Marami naman talagang species na undiscovered or di pa nanname dito sa Pinas, some in plain sight. Kulang lang sa interest and bihasa sa mag ddocument coz lets face it, hindi prioritized and valued yung ganitong trabaho dito.
We have many passionate and dedicated scientists/ naturalists sa pinas, sadly kapos lang sa pondo. Pero kung tutuusin we are a goldmine for environmental research. I read somewhere that we are the 2nd most biodiverse country on earth.
