DeleteI’m as slim as these 2 and very much within normal BMI and right weight for my height, but I keep hearing payat shaming comments like 11:17 na kesyo skeletora daw ako, usually from fat people pa talaga. Yet I got the normal BMI. Go figure. Dami ganyan ngayon, inggit sa slim kasi nahirapan siguro i-hide yung bilbil. Sabay lait sa slim, then body positivity advocate wow lang.

Delete8:13am naging normal na kasi yung overweight. I remember nung 90s nasa borderline normal-overweight ako pero mataba na tawag sakin. Ngayon yung ganung weight ko tawag sakin normal lang. Nagbabago na kasi mundo natin and andaming majubis kaya its more accepted now. I'm all for body positivity for whatever shape you're in but I'm also for keeping yourself or aiming for a healthy weight.
DeleteYung nagsasabing ok na mataba basta healthy, hindi totoo yun. You may be overweight or obese now and walang hypertension, diabetes, osteoartritis etc but the fact that you are those puts you at risk for all those and so much more. It will eventually catch up on you. There's a reason why wala kayong makikitang masyadong mataba na matanda. They don't reach old age.
