I agree. Matagal ko na din na-sense whay she’s trying (hard) to do. Like she’s trying to dilute her “masa” image. Like constantly tagging luxury brands sa mga posts niya. Umepekto naman somehow kasi mukhang napansin na siya finally ng Tiffany’s lately. May seemingly deliberate move din to wear high fashion pieces. Grabe din naman talaga ang hype kay Dolly De Leon ngayon sa Pinas. I’m happy for her tho, bec she can act and she deserves the attention, but we all know nangyayari lang to dahil matunog ang pangalan nya ngayon. Daming artista na gaya ni DDL, magaling pero hindi physically attractive kaya hindi naka-cast or nabibigyan ng magandang role. Ang babaw kasi ng mga Pinoy. Puro maganda, gwapo, mestizo, sexy, malakas ang appeal o di kaya yung komedyantelang ang tinatangkilik. Napakababaw.
Lol i just find it so inauthentic how these celebrities are praising “MISS” Dolly De Leon. As if she’s new, as if she hasn’t been acting for so long. Matagal na syang artista, nakagawa na ng madaming proyekto, matagal nang “ekstra” or side character, matagal na syang magaling, pero now nyo lang pinapansin dahil binigyang pugay sa ibang bansa. I know everybody needs money, pero ang hindi ko maintindihan sa mga celebrities. Ang hilig nila mag share ng mga personal info, mag post and update ng mga kung ano ano about them. Tapos pag napakeelaman o may masabi about them, galit na galit. One reason why I like yung mga tulad nila Sarah G. Saktong updates lang pero hindi binubuffet ang buhay nila sa public. Hindi takot malaos kaya hindi pinipilit maging relevant.
