sa tingin ko lang... i think yung beef ni madam is yung word na "official." pag kasi sinabing official, may budget from gobyerno. eh sila ang gagastos kaya reak si madmoysel. hindi ata masyadong klaro yung pagka explain niya and with matching side comments kaya ayan. bungisngis si menggay pero yung mga X twits niya parang laging irita haha
Maine herself said there are two kinds of official trips. She admitted na official nga ang trip. Sana nagfile na lang kasi ng leave si Arjo kasi para sa film niya tapos nakaofficial travel, kahit pa expensed out of pocket, mali pa rin. Kung rank and file employee yan do yan iaapprove for sure
then why she and her husband deleted their previous posts? hmmm..may something..at tsaka napaka interesting din that inquirer is backup by evidences and sources na i hope legit..it's just sad lang na kakasal lang pero may nega news agad sa kanila, well maybe coincidence lang, pero abangers nalang tayo mga kaFP!
True. As a government employee, pansin ko maraming walang delicadeza sa mga officials. Seems like maine is so naive about sa politics and government systems. Gudlak, maine. You need to learn.
There is such a thing as paid leave, even outside the government. You are permitted to take vacation even as a salaried employee and your salary doesn’t stop
8:30 pm according sa article ng Inquirer, Arjo will continue working remotely. He should not be working at all if mag opt sya ng paid leave, which is more advisable as 3:03 pm said.
But if it is paid leave, sana di na ginamit yung word na official. Kaya nagkaproblema eh. Official travel meankng walang leave na ipinasa. So nakabakasyon sya while earning leavr while pinapasahod pa rin
8:30 this isn't a paid leave. This is an official trip. It means it's on official time. Kung paid leave yan, hindi yan official. Arjo should have just filed the leave
8:30 - yes, may paid leave both in/out of government . What you missed to understand is that paid leave means nababawas sa leave entitlement mo. Since this is “official”, it means hindi nabawasan ang leave entitlement nya. Ergo, he can still take another trip using his unused leaves.
10:24 and if you think about it "working remotely" is a lame excuse kasi as a congressman marami syang duties na hindi magagampanan because he is not physically present in the chamber. You cant cast a vote if you arent there!
Teka lang, I'm not a fan of both and just speaking objectively.. let's say official trip nga at bayad ng govt ang salary ni Arjo.. as far as I'm aware there are 24hours in a day at di naman 24hours ang work niya. Did they claim na honeymoon trip yan? Ako kase when I got married, I had to go on a business trip afterwards (di ko ma-leave because once a year conference siya) at sinamahan ako ng spouse ko because newlyweds kame so ayaw namin maghiwalay agad agad.. my work finishes at 5pm so after that we'll go out, roam around ng konti then go for a nice dinner or stay lang sa hotel.. I guess my point is - pwede naman un gawin sa official trip without breaking any rules.
That is journalism 101. I feel like they’re hiding behind their “highly placed sources.” Ang dating tuloy it’s like they wrote a hit piece against Arjo, which isn’t surprising.
You keep your sources confidential. Yan ang journalism 101. Wag kang mema, girl. The fact na pinadelete kay maine ang tweet means inq is correct. Take your fantard glasses off.
5:07 They can publish what they want because they can “choose to keep their sources confidential”. You get what I mean? Pwedeng tama sila, pwedeng mali. Pero we’ll never know kasi protected sila from showing their proof or lack thereof.
I think what 3:31 is saying ang “source” ni Inquirer is info na readily available so why not cite it in the beginning? They can easily verify this information instead of making it look like something fishy is going on behind the scenes. From the start, may certain angle na agad yung article and the timing is quite suspect.
@5:07 Not even a fan. But there’s a time when sources can be kept confidential and may time din na pwede mo i-cite lalo na kung public info naman. The point is, they can easily verify if the trip is personally paid or not, without needing “confidential sources.” But the writer made it sound like the couple is doing something illegal when semantics lang naman pala between official time vs official business.
If you do, then hindi yun news. PR yun. You are allowing them to preempt and worse, dictate your story. 3:31 : obviously, wala kang alam sa journalism. Opposite ng journalism 101 ata ang alam mo. Ang sources, you protect them - that is journalism 101.
10:23, 10:43, 10:58 sobrang dami mong comments wala namang point. They can be sued kung mali talaga ang news na pinublish nila. They already published the certification from congress.
More to come pa 'yan newly Mrs. Atayde to have and to hold diba? Kaya nyo yan!
hate to say this pero galawang trapo talaga si Arjo eversince nagjoin sya sa politics. people doubted the sincerity of this full time actor part-time congressman and now full time husband of Maine Mendoza. i know they have the money to spend on their own trips pero di maiiwasan ma scrutinize sya sa mga sctivities nya dahil sinuswelduhan sya ng taong bayan. kung ayaw nila ng issue na ganyan, just be actors and business owners.
So his offics is at fault. It should have explained that they will be using personal money. Inquirer neved insuated anything but just reported the press release of Arjo's office. Maine should call out Arjo's staff.
I have nothing against their relationship pero sana wag na mag politiko yang si arjo.
Not the staff. Baka nga rank and file lang ang mga ito and sumusunod lang kung ano ang sabi ng higher ups nila eh.
Sa mga tards, salary grade 33 yung congressman. 419k+ a month. Ok lang sa inyo na naka session yung congress pero si Arjo nasa abroad to attend a premiere and mag honeymoon tas binabayaran pa rin ng taong bayan?
You two cant have it all: fame power and money, Meron talagang magsusuffer yan ay privacy and integrity. Being an elected public official comes with a price. You cant demand people to leave you alone.
Kakaganyan niyo kaya tingnan mo sitwasyon natin lahat ngayon.
On one hand it claims they have information from source that they refuse to mention (why????) and on another, they refuse to take into consideration the statement of the couple who is the subject of their reporting.
4:50 i dont mind inquirer not publicising all their sources kasi some whistleblowers need anonymity, pero ng alam ko proper journalistic practice is to contact the person who is the subject of the article (arjo) so they have a chance to respond and defend themselves before the article is published.
Isipin mo may mga bagay2 na pwd ba talaga gawin at a given time taking into consideration status ni Arjo and ano magiging consequences. Kahit pa sabihing personal money nla gagastusin but ang timing ba ng trip. Dito or abroad, public official si Arjo subject to public scrutiny.
Published na po ang Travel Authority ni Arjo, which is a requirement for a govt employee to clear immigration. Explicit yung subject, "Official Travel Authority to Switzerland, Italy, and Greece," in his capacity as Vice Chairperson of the Committee on Creative Industry and Peforming Arts. Exempted tuloy siya sa travel tax.
Although nakasulat din dun sa certificate na hindi siya nagrequest ng government fund for the trip and at own personal expense.
Maine could have clarified it better rather than reacting impulsively.
5:22 Maine clearly did not understand the situation as well as she thought kaya napareact ng bongga. Tbh even with this clarification Arjo's actions are still sus. He misrepresented the nature of the trip so not only is he exempt from travel tax as you said, he will be pretending to work for one month as vice chair of cinema etc etc when we know thats BS and he is just taking a vacation.
Yun movie showing nya, official visit sa ibat ibang country sabay honeymoon. Para sa akin he is just using his given time wisely. I hope this will be q learning experience for him and his team.
Ibang mundo ang politics now that she is the wife of a government official, duly elected by his constituents. You have to play it safe and play it smart. Politics is polarizing, anything she say or do will have an impact on Arjo’s political career. She is on a different arena now, hindi na pwede ang pa open letter, pagpapakatotoo kemerut 🤣
Gurl, nasimulan mo naman na buhay being scrutinized 24/7, medyo nadagdagan nga lang ngayon ng responsibility specially on money matters, dahil may asawa kang Govt. official. It's your life now, deal with it!
Arjo is ultimately at fault for the confusion dahil pinagsasabay nya yung showbiz and political career. Sabihin na natin he used his own money to attend the film fest. Why classify it as an "official" trip as though it were part of his congressional duties? Ganito pa balak nya gawin in future, attend his own movie screenings while on the clock with the excuse that he chairs a "special commitee of performing arts" chuchu? Wag ganyan, keep your two jobs separate.
Understandable na gumala kayo for honeymoon, pero how about ung gala before the wedding? Ung bf gf palang kayo?? Kakaupo lang ni Arjo un and yet gala galore agad!?
So her statement changed. Went from "it was a personal trip for Arjo's film fake news kayo", to "ok so it was an official trip pero kami naman gumastos". Meaning Arjo was not fully transparent with her kaya na foot in mouth tuloy si Menggay. Yikes
Na confirm na sa Inquirer this afternoon ng House of Representatives that gov't funds will not be used when the Atayde couple travels to Europe this month. The end...
Yeap. But now a conflict of interest issue arises. As he’s traveling in a public capacity but catering to his private interests, which is the screening of his film.
But this still doesn’t negate the issue na he’s on a payroll while honeymooning for 30 days
Labasan na lang ng resibo. If siguro Maine can provide an evidence na hindi talaga galing sa budget ng Office ni Cong Atayde. Madali lang yan. Pakita lang atleast ticket purchase date. That will suffice.
Wala syang proof. Maine is just self righteous and wants to rant. Now, ang mas klaro is, Cong Atayde is still getting paid while on honeymoon! Makes me wonder, how many of their trips in the past, he used as “official business trip”?
Mukhang wala mailalabas or too late n maglabas. Kasi kung maglalabas sila, people will highly think na fraud papers lang ito dhil sa pag aangas ni Maine. Dapat kasi una palang naglabas agad sila ng proofs, not angas.
Sa philstar naman sabi may "official travel authority" si arjo signed by the house secretary general "allowing him to fly to Europe at no cost to the government" Siya raw representative ng Philippines dun sa filmfest
Bakit nya kasi tinaon sa honey moon. nya yung official trip nya. To visit Filipino communities - for what?
Kung kasama sa official government trip yung destination along with the date, obviously kahit yung ticket is included. So they can’t say 100% personal expense.
Stay strong, Arjo and Maine! People will always have something bad to say when you’re a politician. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t. You knew this was the life you’re gonna be entering. There’s a renewed interest in the both of you so better keep it on the low muna.
Mahirap pag pera usapan. Credibility ang nakasalalay.
they didn't deny where they are going naman. maine said na-our "Personal" trip after that (official visit) will be at their personal expense. daming di ata naka-intindi jusko
I am for Maine and she comes from a nonpolitical background, but knowing his husband is one of the congressmen to push Maharlika fund as law nagiging sus na sya for me. I say RESIBO din if naglabas na ung Inquirer and if they really want to close this once and for all.
Arjo is attending the premiere of his film at that European film festival while Congress is in session. So instead of attending the sessions in Congress he will be in Europe ostensibly in his capacity as Vice Chair of that arts committee. He could have scheduled his Europe visit and honeymoon while Congress is in recess but he is going to Europe to attend the film festival - while Congress is in session. The excuse he is using ( and it is in the official document ) is he is doing it as part of his role as vice chair of the committee. But his real reason is he wants to go to the premiere of his film. ( and I'm sure they will add how by attending the festival he is helping promote Philippine cinema on the global stage etc etc ) Ms. Maine maybe needs a crash course in governmental ethics. Just because a public official pays his own way for a foreign trip doesn't make it totally right. What if that trip for personal reasons is on official government time. When Arnold Schwarzenegger was Governor of California he put his acting career on hold (although he did make some cameo appearances while governor). Wonder if Inquirer will dig up next how many absences Arjo has racked up because of his acting work. That information is public and readily available.
When Alfred Vargas became congressman, he put his acting career on hold. Seems like Arjo wants to coast both worlds and the wife is just as entitled. Ang yayaman pero walang delicadeza.
I think naka official time nga sya. I did something like this once, attended a convention abroad for 3 days but stayed there for a week so I toured and visited relatives on the side. All on my expense but naka official time ako the whole trip. I just wrote the head of our institution a letter stating the purpose of my trip and showed supporting documents and the trip was approved. Eto a whole month?!?
as a wife of a government employee, i can relate naman na ang liit ng sweldo ng gobyerno kaya i need to work hard and todo kayod para makaipon. when we got married, nagvacation leave naman husband ko para makapaghoneymoon kami. Buti si Arjo nakaofficial travel whether they use personal funds or not. Buti pa si your honor
This is Arjo and Maine trying to justify Arjo's not taking a leave for their honeymoon by saying they are using their personal funds. Simple as that. Doesn't make it right, Maine..
Most employed people on full time contracts include time off and are paid while they’re on holiday, so I don’t see anything wrong with that. Ang hindi ko naintindihan yung pag aartista habang nasa politika, it’s not realistic to balance both.
Maine is new. Hindi niya alam ang mga conflict of interest and maybe even Arjo was not aware na he should take leave. It takes time. Give them a break. I guess it’s becoz they’re showbiz personalities Kaya sobra ang mga patutsada.
Baka kasi may approved travel order for official business (funded by govt) si Arjo abroad which coincides with their bakasyon..kaya may confusion ang mga tao kng yung official business ba or leisure yung byahe ni Arjo..
Month long.honeymoon yan disguised as a work trip. He should have filed a leave but instead thought he could just be on official business para ok lang matagal siya wala lol
I think it's how the Inquirer worded it, parang implying she's part of the official trip crew meaning tax money and pambayad. You think di niyo binabayaran yun? Just look at BBMs contingent trying umaalis lahat ba yun kelangan? But lahat yun thank you Filipinos ang nag bayad.
Who asked her to delete though? Her management?
ReplyDeleteWow Inquirer standing firm. San kaya sources nila
Deletemost probably
DeleteIf they deleted their twits Inquirer is into something. I remember the old “investigative days” of Inquirer.

BWHAHAHA
Inquirer was being intentionally misleading and is doubling down, instead of clarifying. Yikes.
DeleteOMG. Firm ang Inquirer about this. Documented naman kasi ang TOs ng accounts as basis of the said travels
ReplyDeleteThey could have announced the honeymoon update AFTER his OFFICIAL TRIP kasi.
DeletePwede naman ang honeymoon date nila, a week after siyang matapos sa official duties niya as a public official.
Inquirer already said na nasa loob mismo ang source nila
DeleteSpill the tea naman, Inquirer! Can't wait!

Delete2:11 You haven't figured out who wears the pants? This early on, it's no question who does.
DeleteI agree with 2:37, she has just as much a voice as Arjo on the matter. Plus, the insinuation is quite heavy to keep mum about.

100% agree

ReplyDeleteIt's not even his popularity he's banking on. Paano ba umiingay ang pangalan niya? Lol.
Have to agree. Also agree with 3:48 walang preparation si Arjo to be a congressman. Sa totooo lang
Deletehate to say this pero galawang trapo talaga si Arjo eversince nagjoin sya sa politics. people doubted the sincerity of this full time actor part-time congressman and now full time husband of Maine Mendoza. i know they have the money to spend on their own trips pero di maiiwasan ma scrutinize sya sa mga sctivities nya dahil sinuswelduhan sya ng taong bayan. kung ayaw nila ng issue na ganyan, just be actors and business owners.
ReplyDeleteapir 403 i have the same thoughts
So his offics is at fault. It should have explained that they will be using personal money. Inquirer neved insuated anything but just reported the press release of Arjo's office. Maine should call out Arjo's staff.
DeleteAgree 100% kaya nga i was wishing mauntog talaga si maine noon but here we are now
Delete@4:38 nadale mo!
DeleteI have nothing against their relationship pero sana wag na mag politiko yang si arjo.
Not the staff. Baka nga rank and file lang ang mga ito and sumusunod lang kung ano ang sabi ng higher ups nila eh.
DeleteMismo. They should also br prepared to be scrutinized. They arent celebrities anymore but public servant and public servant’s wife.
DeleteSa mga tards, salary grade 33 yung congressman. 419k+ a month. Ok lang sa inyo na naka session yung congress pero si Arjo nasa abroad to attend a premiere and mag honeymoon tas binabayaran pa rin ng taong bayan?
DeleteYou two cant have it all: fame power and money, Meron talagang magsusuffer yan ay privacy and integrity. Being an elected public official comes with a price. You cant demand people to leave you alone.
ReplyDeleteMayaman sila di need ng budget from the govt ng funds. Kaloka mga tabs ngyon
ReplyDeleteThat’s beside the point. Integrity and timing is in question here beshie
DeleteEdi nagfile sana ng official leave then go with the honeymoon ng walang kasabay na trabaho
DeleteKakaganyan niyo kaya tingnan mo sitwasyon natin lahat ngayon.
DeleteArjo was free to file a leave but he didn't.
DeleteWhy so noisy?
6:38 agree.
DeleteMayaman pala, bakit sinabay ang official trip based press release dated August 2 sa honeymoon
Delete10:19 what part of OFFICIAL do you not understand? Official trip = official time
DeleteOne-sided reporting naman ang Inquirer. On one hand it claims they have information from source that they refuse to mention (why????) and on another, they refuse to take into consideration the statement of the couple who is the subject of their reporting.
ReplyDelete4:50 i dont mind inquirer not publicising all their sources kasi some whistleblowers need anonymity, pero ng alam ko proper journalistic practice is to contact the person who is the subject of the article (arjo) so they have a chance to respond and defend themselves before the article is published.
DeleteHindi mo naintindihan.
DeleteYou have a point here classmate.
DeleteThat’s the problem, 4:50. It’s very unprofessional. They’d rather be “right” than be accurate
Isipin mo may mga bagay2 na pwd ba talaga gawin at a given time taking into consideration status ni Arjo and ano magiging consequences. Kahit pa sabihing personal money nla gagastusin but ang timing ba ng trip. Dito or abroad, public official si Arjo subject to public scrutiny.
ReplyDeleteSilence is golden.
ReplyDeleteEven if your reputation is at stake?
DeleteYes. For your peace of mind. If untrue I keep silent.
Delete11:34 di ka celebrity, so di yan applicable sa kanila. you know nothing about being celebrity and what they must and must not protect.
DeletePublished na po ang Travel Authority ni Arjo, which is a requirement for a govt employee to clear immigration. Explicit yung subject, "Official Travel Authority to Switzerland, Italy, and Greece," in his capacity as Vice Chairperson of the Committee on Creative Industry and Peforming Arts. Exempted tuloy siya sa travel tax.
ReplyDeleteAlthough nakasulat din dun sa certificate na hindi siya nagrequest ng government fund for the trip and at own personal expense.
Sana nag keave na lang.
DeleteThis is the best explanation/comment.
DeletePara ata gusto ni Arjo gawin lahat lahat sabay sabay. Yun movie showing nya, official visit sa ibat ibang country sabay honeymoon. Para sa akin he is just using his given time wisely. I hope this will be q learning experience for him and his team.
ReplyDeleteHe didnt take any leave of absence for the honeymoon, bayad pa rin siya during the three weeks
ReplyDeleteIbang mundo ang politics now that she is the wife of a government official, duly elected by his constituents. You have to play it safe and play it smart.
ReplyDeletePolitics is polarizing, anything she say or do will have an impact on Arjo’s political career.
ReplyDeletePolitician kasi si arjo who is going on an official trip. The public has a right to know a politician's official business, period.
DeleteLOL Nagpapatawa ka ba. May official doc galing sa office ni Arjo AS A GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL REGARDING THAT TRIP.
DeleteUhmmm Arjo is public government official.
Delete635: public official sya.
ReplyDeleteBakit masyadong defensive ateng? Kung hindi edi hindi! Palaban ang Inquirer ha. Labanan kasi ng credibility to.
DeleteArjo is ultimately at fault for the confusion dahil pinagsasabay nya yung showbiz and political career.
ReplyDeleteAs someone who used to work in the industry, I don't believe the Inquirer.
ReplyDeleteAs someone who works in the government, I believe the inquirer
DeleteSame tayo 10:16
DeleteAs a Marites, I believe Inquirer too.
DeletePak 10:16. I work in the government too and I have a relative in congress and I see how the Atayde's are trying to pull this off. Buti na call out.
DeleteUnderstandable na gumala kayo for honeymoon, pero how about ung gala before the wedding? Ung bf gf palang kayo?? Kakaupo lang ni Arjo un and yet gala galore agad!?
ReplyDelete7:36.
DeleteSo her statement changed. Went from "it was a personal trip for Arjo's film fake news kayo", to "ok so it was an official trip pero kami naman gumastos". Meaning Arjo was not fully transparent with her kaya na foot in mouth tuloy si Menggay. Yikes
ReplyDeleteEXACTLY. Maine was obviously not privy to the nitty gritty details of Arjo's trip.
DeleteTHIS!!!!!!!!!
Deleteerr san dyan yung official na pang govt yung travel niya? paki-explain
DeleteLuh.. d nagbabasa si classmate
DeleteNa confirm na sa Inquirer this afternoon ng House of Representatives that gov't funds will not be used when the Atayde couple travels to Europe this month. The end...
ReplyDeleteYeap. But now a conflict of interest issue arises. As he’s traveling in a public capacity but catering to his private interests, which is the screening of his film.
DeleteBut this still doesn’t negate the issue na he’s on a payroll while honeymooning for 30 days
I doubt. Hahahah
That will suffice.
ReplyDeleteAng point ng inq is offcial trip yon ni Arjo meaning bayad sya while on personal vacation.
DeleteWala syang proof. Maine is just self righteous and wants to rant. Now, ang mas klaro is, Cong Atayde is still getting paid while on honeymoon! Makes me wonder, how many of their trips in the past, he used as “official business trip”?
DeleteMukhang wala mailalabas or too late n maglabas. Kasi kung maglalabas sila, people will highly think na fraud papers lang ito dhil sa pag aangas ni Maine. Dapat kasi una palang naglabas agad sila ng proofs, not angas.
ReplyDeleteSa philstar naman sabi may "official travel authority" si arjo signed by the house secretary general "allowing him to fly to Europe at no cost to the government"
No govt funds will be used pero bayad si Arjo. Natural nasa calendar nila yan.
ReplyDeleteBakit nya kasi tinaon sa honey moon. nya yung official trip nya. To visit Filipino communities - for what?
ReplyDeleteKung kasama sa official government trip yung destination along with the date, obviously kahit yung ticket is included. So they can’t say 100% personal expense.
ReplyDeleteI doubt that’s the last time na magkaka-issue yan si Arjo. Good luck sa pagtatanggol Miss Maine.
ReplyDeleteMalisyoso lang Imasu ang nagsulat. Mali na nga hindi pa itinama. Anu bang bago s mga tabloids? Paninindigan ang mali
ReplyDeleteWhat's malicious about it? Obviously, uninformed lang si Maine. Kita mo dinelete nya tweets nya? LOL. Stop being a fantard hahaha!
DeleteThe problem is, while the travel is from their pockets, he is still getting paid as if he’s working. he should’ve just filed for a leave. smh
ReplyDeleteStay strong, Arjo and Maine! People will always have something bad to say when you’re a politician. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t. You knew this was the life you’re gonna be entering. There’s a renewed interest in the both of you so better keep it on the low muna.
ReplyDeleteAyyyyy juicccyyyy…
ReplyDeleteOne week pa lang since your wedding, stress ka na Menggay. Not a good sign. Char ✌️
ReplyDeleteWhy bothered, if untrue?
Mahirap pag pera usapan. Credibility ang nakasalalay.
Deletethey didn't deny where they are going naman. maine said na-our "Personal" trip after that (official visit) will be at their personal expense. daming di ata naka-intindi jusko
ReplyDeleteI am for Maine and she comes from a nonpolitical background, but knowing his husband is one of the congressmen to push Maharlika fund as law nagiging sus na sya for me. I say RESIBO din if naglabas na ung Inquirer and if they really want to close this once and for all.
ReplyDeleteArjo is attending the premiere of his film at that European film festival while Congress is in session.
ReplyDeletePopcorn pls
DeleteMga politiko talaga!
Delete100%!!!
DeleteWhen Alfred Vargas became congressman, he put his acting career on hold. Seems like Arjo wants to coast both worlds and the wife is just as entitled. Ang yayaman pero walang delicadeza.
DeleteI think naka official time nga sya.
DeleteEto a whole month?!?
Pakispell ang conflict of interest.
ReplyDeleteTHIS! They (lalo na si Arjo) should have known better.
Daming mga politicians na actors on the side too before pa ke Arjo.
DeleteDahil self righteous ang asawa niya 💋
DeleteMalay mo naman 12:46 tinitira din ang iba. E syempre article ni Arjo to malamang sya titirahin. Classmate naman e, bawas-bawasan pagka tard
Deleteas a wife of a government employee, i can relate naman na ang liit ng sweldo ng gobyerno kaya i need to work hard and todo kayod para makaipon. when we got married, nagvacation leave naman husband ko para makapaghoneymoon kami. Buti si Arjo nakaofficial travel whether they use personal funds or not. Buti pa si your honor
ReplyDeleteYeah exactly. Ako rin iniipon ko VL ko kasi it takes time para ma accumulate yun. Kaya yung alis namin mahaba na 2 weeks.
DeleteAnd it's not just a short trip to attend the festival. It's a nearly month long "working" trip.
ReplyDeleteMaine, seems like you are the one who’s privy yet uninformed of your husband’s questionable transactions hmmmm 😏
ReplyDeleteHahah 102 wala ba silang GC?
DeleteThis is Arjo and Maine trying to justify Arjo's not taking a leave for their honeymoon by saying they are using their personal funds. Simple as that. Doesn't make it right, Maine..
ReplyDeleteWhy would you file a leave if pwede namang gawing official time kasi talagang may purpose naman sya going there.
DeleteThey are both public personalities being in entertainment and political industries, and this marriage started wrong in the public eye. Sad.
ReplyDeleteBut girl, bayad ang asawa mo habang honeymoon niyo. Sana all pwedeng nay sweldo kahit di pumapasok sa trabaho.
ReplyDeleteMost employed people on full time contracts include time off and are paid while they’re on holiday, so I don’t see anything wrong with that. Ang hindi ko naintindihan yung pag aartista habang nasa politika, it’s not realistic to balance both.
DeleteLahat naman ng government employee, ano ba?
Delete2:07 you've never heard of the concept of paid leave?
ReplyDeleteMaine is new. Hindi niya alam ang mga conflict of interest and maybe even Arjo was not aware na he should take leave. It takes time. Give them a break. I guess it’s becoz they’re showbiz personalities Kaya sobra ang mga patutsada.
ReplyDeleteBaka kasi may approved travel order for official business (funded by govt) si Arjo abroad which coincides with their bakasyon..kaya may confusion ang mga tao kng yung official business ba or leisure yung byahe ni Arjo..
ReplyDeleteMonth long.honeymoon yan disguised as a work trip. He should have filed a leave but instead thought he could just be on official business para ok lang matagal siya wala lol
ReplyDeleteI think it's how the Inquirer worded it, parang implying she's part of the official trip crew meaning tax money and pambayad. You think di niyo binabayaran yun? Just look at BBMs contingent trying umaalis lahat ba yun kelangan? But lahat yun thank you Filipinos ang nag bayad.
ReplyDelete
