I didn't like the quality of V5 writing wise, pero oo beks, ganyan talaga dapat ang pagconceptualize ng show. Madaming ginugugol na oras hindi yung bara bara lang tulad ng mga pinoy teleserye. If maayos yung pagkakasulat nitong V5 they could've exported this show to other countries and made a lot of money.

V5 is a canned show, it was only intended for 80 episodes pero inextend ng 10 episodes at hindi pa ready yung BarDa serye! Hindi dahil patapos na ibig sabihin flop or di kumita sanay kasi kayo masyado sa mga local series na ang batayan ng success are number of episodes, fyi they still have to follow the storyline and arc ng original anime.

GMA dropped the ball on this one. They couldn't decide if they were gonna cater to those who've seen the anime as kids and are watching for the nostalgia; kung doon ba sa mga teleserye watchers na nanunuood ng mga catty girl fights, love stories, at sabunutan; or sa mga bata. Hindi ko gets kung bakit mahilig magdumb down ng writing under the guise na children may be watching, when in reality dahil sa capacity ng pagiisip ng mga bata they take things too literally and wouldn't understand mature themes in the first place, so you can literally use mature storytelling and dialogue (minus cuss words) as much as you want on a mecha show like this.

Idagdag na rin ang magaling na director. Sobrang ingay sa umpisa. They rightfully earned praises for the graphics. Pero once nakita na ng mga tao, they didn't have any other reason to stick to it.

I tried to watch Pero the storyline was changed to a teenage soap opera with the love triangle and all so Hindi sila faithful sa original so let’s stop it with the narrative that it ended kasi ganon lang ang kwento ng voltes v. It ended because it wasn’t true to its anime version

I know legendary ang V5 sa ph TV, but nobody was really clamoring for this remake apart from the director lol. Current audiences don't really know V5 like that anymore and more sophisticated action anime had been made since then. Yung fans ng mga show are happy to just watch the OG anime, especially after they saw how much the storyline got butchered. Also, some anime are just meant to be enjoyed as anime and doesn't translate well pag live action. If magreremake ng anime ang mga ph network they ought to choose those from the 90s to mid 2000s na mas accessible sa current audiences, or pick anime na hindi awkward i-adapt as live action. Some examples are slam dunk, GTO, death note, and almost all mature and romance anime out there. This was a solid attempt but hindi surprising why it didn't really rate well.
Exactly! Parang ang out of touch ng GMA sa audience. Halatang di muna sila kumuha ng audience insight. Parang na-excite lang sila sa sarili nilang idea and then went for it. In fairness nakapanood ako ng dalawang episode nito at level-up ang visual effects. My nephews and nieces enjoyed watching this. Sayang di masyado sumikat, good quality pa naman sana to.

Sanay ang iba dito na kapag successful yung show umaabot ng 6 years HAHAHAHAHA sa koreans nga 16 episodes lang. Ito naman base siya sa anime which is 80 episodes and it was shown weekly, not daily. Daming mema!

I'll give props to them for the CGI. but they tried to lengthen the story too by adding the love triangle spin, tapos yung crossover effect ng characters nina kylie padilla. so wag nila sanang sabihin na canned or they stayed true to the lenth of the orig V5. sus!
Considering yung budget at time na ginugol para matapos ito, it fell short. Di nagkakalayo ang ratings nila ng Batang Quiapo, when dapat mas lamang sila. Mas mataas pa ratings ng Lolong.
As a huge Voltes V anime fan, I'm so disappointed at the cringe acting of some of the cast and the really bad script... The director should have known better. I AM SIMPLY HEARTBROKEN...

Unfortunately, direk Mark Reyes is not the top director now. I believe Zig Dulay will take the throne in the next few hears. His cinematography is phenomenal. Voltes V Legacy is actually performing well with success in its target audience, younger viewers. Hindi na sustain ang hype due to bad story telling and scriptwriting. Binuhos lahat ni Suzette sa MCAI at dinogshow Yung Voltes V Legacy. Also the cast needed more workshop except for Miguel Tanfelix who pretty much carry the whole V5 team in terms of acting. Radson was pushed to primerime prematurely, the guy needs more workshop.
Malaki ang budget nito at mahaba rin ang time na ginugol pero ang ratings nya kadikit lang halos ng batang quiapo. Mas mataas pa ratings ng lolong. So Hindi talaga nag hit as expected. Lugi ang GMA sa production cost palang.
Lol Joker ng mga basher dito halatang nakikicomment lang. Hnd alm kung ilan lng episode ng anime at ano ibg sabhn ng adaptation. The mere fact na na invite sila sa comic con sa abroad ay senyales na maganda yung magiging pagtanggap nito sa ibang bansa
9:10 ang pinag uusapan naman dito e kung sikat at pinanood ba ng tao. And the answer to that is Hindi masyado. Unlike yung mga todong hits like probinsyano sa una palang. Considering yung Gastos ng GMA sa series na to Lugi pa din. Yung comicon naman is a celebration ng comics and pop culture. Bilang adaptation ng isang sikat na series talagang ma feature sila. Yun nalang siguro ang consuelo ng GMA sa ginawa nila.

ReplyDeleteMas mahirap naman kasi ang role ni Ysabel kesa sa kontrabida role. Yung kontrabida role iisa lang naman atake all throughout the show, while role bilang Jamie madaming ganap dinagdap pa yung love triangle/square and other unnecessary scenes

ReplyDeleteSanay ang iba dito na kapag successful yung show umaabot ng 6 years HAHAHAHAHA sa koreans nga 16 episodes lang. Ito naman base siya sa anime which is 80 episodes and it was shown weekly, not daily. Daming mema!

DeleteCONGRATS SA CGI TEAM NG VOLTES V! I hope mabigyan sila ng better scriptwriter at actors next time dahil yung mga nakaproject nila ngayon waley as in waley talaga. Sayang ang galing ng CGI team sa pangit na script at acting.

ReplyDeleteI'll give props to them for the CGI. but they tried to lengthen the story too by adding the love triangle spin, tapos yung crossover effect ng characters nina kylie padilla. so wag nila sanang sabihin na canned or they stayed true to the lenth of the orig V5. sus!
ReplyDeleteConsidering yung budget at time na ginugol para matapos ito, it fell short. Di nagkakalayo ang ratings nila ng Batang Quiapo, when dapat mas lamang sila. Mas mataas pa ratings ng Lolong.

Pinagtatanggol ko yan sa mga bashers before nung bago pa ipalabas kasi it's the right thing to do naman talaga na dapat mapanood mo muna bago mo husgahan.
My TV is still tuned in to the show every night but my eyes aren't glued to the screen all the time anymore. I'M JUST DOING IT TO SUPPORT THE FILIPINO GRAPHIC ARTISTS BEHIND THE SHOW WHO STILL DID THEIR BEST DESPITE THE LIMITATIONS.

ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, direk Mark Reyes is not the top director now. I believe Zig Dulay will take the throne in the next few hears. His cinematography is phenomenal. Voltes V Legacy is actually performing well with success in its target audience, younger viewers. Hindi na sustain ang hype due to bad story telling and scriptwriting. Binuhos lahat ni Suzette sa MCAI at dinogshow Yung Voltes V Legacy. Also the cast needed more workshop except for Miguel Tanfelix who pretty much carry the whole V5 team in terms of acting. Radson was pushed to primerime prematurely, the guy needs more workshop.
ReplyDeleteMalaki ang budget nito at mahaba rin ang time na ginugol pero ang ratings nya kadikit lang halos ng batang quiapo. Mas mataas pa ratings ng lolong. So Hindi talaga nag hit as expected. Lugi ang GMA sa production cost palang.

ReplyDelete9:10 ang pinag uusapan naman dito e kung sikat at pinanood ba ng tao. And the answer to that is Hindi masyado. Unlike yung mga todong hits like probinsyano sa una palang. Considering yung Gastos ng GMA sa series na to Lugi pa din. Yung comicon naman is a celebration ng comics and pop culture. Bilang adaptation ng isang sikat na series talagang ma feature sila. Yun nalang siguro ang consuelo ng GMA sa ginawa nila.
